You may have seen that the Picture Perfect Party paper has two unique sides to each sheet - one side has graphic designs, the other has photographic images. At first I wondered how I would use the photographic image side...
Good Morning all, I'm actually quite embarrassed that it's been two months since my last blog post, I was convinced it had only been a couple of weeks not two months! Sorry about that. Well I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a good start to the New Year? Mine hasn't exactly started as planned as my car got flooded near where I work on the 4th Jan so has been written off and this last week I've been ill in bed with the flu! Not exactly what I had planned. Other than the mishaps I have already mentioned this year my creative activities have rocketed so far and I'm hoping this is going to continue throughout. My first card making class was a huge success, it was fully booked, everyone said they had a lovely time and all are returning for the February class. I have now chosen to extend the class to two nights as Tuesday is now fully booked and I still had a couple of people interested. If you'd like to come along then get in contact and I can book you in. The next class with space is the 12th February. In order to start as I want to carry on I have started looking ahead to see whose birthdays are coming up and so I've made a start on my birthday cards for the year. This one has been created using the Picture Perfect stamp set which can be found in the current occasions catalogue. If I'm honest when I first looked through the catalogue I saw this stamp set and passed straight over it, however when I attended OnStage back in November this is the set we were all given for free in our goody bag. Since then I have seen so many great cards made with this so thought I would dig it out and have a play. The bows in this set are so cute and can be done in a range of colour combinations. This is a two step stamp and as it is photopolymer it makes it really easy to get good results each time you stamp. My favourite from the above combinations was the Fresh Fig and Berry Burst, they just work so well together. Once I had decided on the colours I wanted and the fact that I wanted to use the bows in the set I wasn't really sure what else I wanted to do. So as usual when I get a bit stumped I turned to the catalogues and Pinterest for inspiration. This time I found a lovely card created by the amazing Emma Goddard of Coastal Crafter to inspire me, click here to see her original card. Sometimes I find myself spending more time on Pinterest pinning ideas than actually making something but I'm determined to actually make more this year! Just like Emma I used the wonderfully sparkly washi tape from the Myths and Magic suite to create my candles, I think I might actually be in love with this suite so expect lots of makes from this one in the future. If you follow me on Facebook you'll have seen a small card made with the candles in this set a little while ago, you can see it towards the back of the below photo of my messy craft desk. My creativity levels may have increased this year but my ability to keep my desk tidy sure hasn't changed!! I once again have an online shop to make ordering through me far easier! There are links below to all of the products that I have used to create this card so click on any of them and it will take you directly to my shop. Don't worry you can still message, phone or email me to place your order for you if that is what you would prefer. Just a reminder Sale-a-bration is currently running which is one of the best things of the Stampin' Up! year. If you haven't encountered sale-a-bration before, put simply it means you get free stuff! This year there are two levels of freebies, level one freebies can be claimed for every £45 spent, if you spend £90 you can then choose to either claim two level one freebies or one level two freebie. ****Edit... as the below image was very popular when I shared it on Facebook I thought I would add it to the bottom of this post to help give you some more colour inspiration**** Supplies: Picture Perfect Birthday Photopolymer Stamp Set [145519] £15.00 Fresh Fig A4 Cardstock [144248] £7.25 Whisper White A4 Card Stock [106549] £8.25 Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper [135315] £4.50 Myths & Magic Specialty Washi Tape [145602] £5.50 Fresh Fig Classic Stampin' Pad [144082] £6.00 Berry Burst Classic Stampin' Pad [144083] £6.00 Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad [131173] £6.00 Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad [140931] £6.50 Subtles Stampin' Write Markers [131263] £27.50 Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies [145372] £27.00 Layering Squares Framelits Dies [141708] £32.00 Fast Fuse Adhesive [129026] £9.00 Paper Snips Scissors [103579] £9.00

How is everyone today? Are you in the mood for a party? I've been wanting to use the sentiment, "Cue the Confetti," from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, and this is the perfect
This fun stamp from "Birthday Wit" pairs well with the printed pictures of treats in the Picture Perfect Party collection. I made this into a fun fold, so as not to permanently obstruct the view of the goodies. A 1" strip of Berry Burst cardstock provides a swing arm for the greeting. The Peekaboo Peach cardstock (3 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2") opens to reveal the inside of the card. The Berry Burst strip is sandwiched between the folded Peekaboo Peach cardstock and a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. The designer paper measures 3" x 5 1/2", and the inner Whisper White piece measures 3" x 5 1/4". I would love to have your business in the online store if you need any Stampin' Up! products. More Buffalo Check - this time with some plaids drawn in. Use a marker and a ruler to add more plaids. I found out that neither one of my rulers is perfectly straight. :( You can't see it from an airplane, but I had to cover up the worst spots. I love the technique. though. It adds even MORE to the Buffalo Check. These cards both used the same stamps and colors. I stamped the pumpkins, then hand-cut them. Stamped "happy birthday" on a scrap of Whisper White, and hand-cut that too. The pumpkins are all two-steps. I did them both just in one color. Stamped off once for the first layer, then full-strength for the top layer. The stems are two different colors - Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. Pumpkins and gourds are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and everything else on the card is flat. I did use some retired things (Tangelo Twist color, and Gourd Goodness stamps). Supplies you'll need to create these (Stampin' Up, unless otherwise noted): Stamps: Buffalo Check Background, Picture Perfect Birthday, Gourd Goodness Ink: Tangelo Twist, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso Paper: Tangelo Twist, Old Olive, Whisper White Other: Everyday Label punch, Glitter Enamel Dots, Tombow Liquid glue, Glue dots, Stampin' Dimensionals I've got some birthdays to mail out cards for this week, so I hope they like these. Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping. Toni Shop here for your Stampin' Up products, 24/7. Thank you for your support!

For this hop, we are featuring the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set. This set is loaded with birthday, party, and celebration images and sentiments. I just love the stamps in this set that can be used as party noise makers or even candles. it's so versatile! This set comes from a suite of products called Picture Perfect Party Suite. For my card today I started by creating a circle focal point, using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies. I cut out a scalloped circle from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and then layered on a smaller circle from Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper (DSP). You'll notice the adorable panda at the center of my card. He is part of the Party Pandas Set and one of the free sets you can get during Sale-A-Bration. Then I used my Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad and the confetti stamp to stamp confetti randomly across my Peekaboo Peach Cardstock panel. I cut another piece of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and cut slits in it to create a fun layer of paper under my sentiment which is stamped in Lemon Lime Twist Ink. To finish it off I added a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment and my card was complete! I've also included a bonus card that I created using these same products. Well, those are my projects for today's hop! Thanks so much for hopping along! Next stop is the very talented Kelly Kent! Check out her lovely blog and project! Today's project is my first joy fold card featuring the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and the soon to be retiring Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper!
Happy Sunday, peeps! Hope you are having a good weekend so far...today it's Laurie's turn to be our Paper Players hostess, and for her clean-and-simple challenge, she's chosen plants! What a great idea! I didn't think I had any "plant" stamps, but I did remember this sweet little set from a few years back called Pocket Silhouettes...and I am so happy with the way this turned out! I stamped three images in Call Me Clover and added a sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday: Since the CAS on Sunday challenge this week is polka dots, I added a "planter" of Call Me Clover polka dotted DSP, diecut with a Stitched Rectangle die; I like how it mimics the dots in the plant image! I had this retired stamp set, Sincere Salutations, in the same stamp case as the silhouette, so I went ahead and used it for my inside, stamping another little silhouette down at the bottom. Everything went on a Call Me Clover card base. And since I didn't get my birthday sentiment quite centered, I added a pearl (another polka dot, LOL!) that I colored with a Blend to create a more balanced sentiment! I love this card, I am going to be hard-pressed to mail it out, LOL! I hope you'll play along with our clean-and-simple challenge! Can't wait to see what you create! Be sure to check out the rules at the Paper Players blog and while you're there, see what the designers created as well! Thanks for popping by today! Scary girl! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Hi Crafters! Today I'm showing you the cards I made as samples for the Picture Perfect Class I held on Friday 11 May. I have used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, coordinating Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper, Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper and inks in Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst & Lemon Lime Twist. I've added Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron Ribbon, Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon with the following Punches: Classic Label, Pretty Label, Everyday Label, Starburst, 2" Circle and the 1-3/8" Circle. If you're local to the Bellarine Peninsula/Geelong area, I would love for you to come along & craft with me! You can check out all my upcoming events here on my Facebook page or if you're not on Facebook, here on my Stampin' Up! Demo Site. This first card is for the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group #AWLSU005 Colour Challenge. You can use any or all of the selected colours plus neutrals. I've chosen to just stick with Bermuda Bay, silver & black for this card, so it kept in theme with the rest of the cards I was making. And here are the rest of the cards, some I have CASE'd (copy and selectively edit) from the 2018 Occasions Catalog. The larger background pieces have been cut to 3" x 4.5", which left a 1.5" piece that I've used for the smaller sentiments & there is one card that I have used three of these pieces as the background. The donuts, hats & bows have been fussy cut from the DSP. I added Gold Metallic Thread to this one. I added Silver Baker's Twine & Lemon Lime Twist washi tape (from the Tutti Fruitti pack) to this one. And a sample of the inside of one of the cards. Something a bit different for me today, a CAS (clean and simple) project for this months Birthday themed Stampin' Dreams Hop, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the hoppers have to share with us. I've used a couple of the cute critters from the Animal Outing stamp set to create my design, I was drawn to the giraffe popping his head up, and then I thought of the sentiment from Pretty Kitty... a little masking to remove "hello" and adding a few dot's to lead to the inside of the card, but it needed something more, that's when I saw those adorably cute "eyebrows" on the frog, perfect! I stamped the images with Memento and was about to use Stampin Blends when I realised the colour would bleed through (fine when you are using layers, but unusually for me, not on this card), so I changed Water Colour pencils, and melted the colours with Blender Pen Grab your favourite beverage and continue you way through the Birthday Hop list below; you are currently visiting Sue Vine - MissPinksCraftSpot from Australia Supplies used for this creation: Stamps: Animal Outing, Pretty Kitty & Picture Perfect Birthday (inner sentiment) Ink: Memento & Water Colour Pencils Cardstock: Thick Whisper White Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
