I think Stampin' Up!'s robot set, Nuts & Bolts is adorable, and love the "punny" greetings in it, too! Available in the Jan-June Mini Catalog.

For all my Canadian friends and family where ever you are, have a happy and safe Victoria Day long weekend. Hope you're getting sunshine like we are. Two days in a row, whoo hoo! Yeah, it's been such a long time. Speaking of long times, it's been a while since I participated in a card sketch challenge, so I thought I'd dive in with this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. The moment I saw it I knew what I wanted to create with this fun sketch. Click here to see the Freshly Made Challenge Here's My Card: The Details: I fell in love with the red rubber cling stamp set called Nuts and Bolts when the January to February 2022 Sale-a-bration (SAB) started. It was so cute and FREE in the SAB. My only problem was I bought so many stamp sets and bundles from the new Mini that I never got around to using it before it retired the end of February. So when I saw the sketch from FMS I thought here's my perfect opportunity. Stamp Set: Nuts and Bolts stamp set featured in the January to February Sale-a-bration catalogue. Product # 157650. This item is now retired. Product #157650 from the 2022 Jan-Feb Sale-a-bration Sale. Cardstock: 8 1/ x 5 1/4" Marina Mist for Card Base scored at 4 1/4" 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Misty Moonlight card stock for 1st layer on card front, scrap for sentiment Cut two 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White layers for the front and inside of the card. Emboss the front panel. Additional scraps of Whisper White to stamp the sentiment and robots on. All the robots were fussy cut and coloured with blends. Designer Series Paper: 2 1/2" x 6" piece of Simply Marbelous DSP from the Jan/Feb 2022 Sale-a-bration catalogue. Punch out three 1 3/4" circles from Simply Marbelous DSP Ink: Momento Black ink for sentiment and stamped images. Blends - Petal Pink, Pool Party, Smokey Slate and Basic Black light. Accessories: 1 3/4" circle punch gemstones Well that's it for today's post and for this Freshly Made Sketch challenge. I hope you enjoyed it. HAPPY STAMPING! Hello crafty friends and a very happy February 1st to you! I've got a birthday card for you this week. This one I created for my sweet brother using the Nuts & Bolts stamp set along with the Slim Sayings stamp set and coordinating Slim Card dies. I'm always in need of making masculine cards and they are a challenge to make! It seems appropriate to use the Simply Marbleous DSP from the Sale-a-bration brochure for these robots, doesn't it? This is a good way to get that metal look. Cardmaking Tips: Use Misty Moonlight cardstock for the cardbase which measures 3-5/8" x 8-5/8". Since the Simply Marbleous DSP is only 6"x6", I had to extend the paper for the background piece and the frame by adhering 2 separate pieces together. You really can't tell where the seams are unless you inspect it very closely. Those cute little robots were stamped onto the backside of the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Acetate with Stazon ink then fussy-cut. I then cut out the same robots on Pool Party Cardstock and adhered them behind the acetate. Trim off the gear that the robot is holding and extend the line from below his hand towards the top to make it look like he's holding a balloon. I used an 1/8"x 1" strip of the Hydrangea acetate then drew a line with my black sharpie pen. Those adorable little party hats are from the Awesome Otters stamp set from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Use the Smoky Slate, So Saffron and Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend markers to color the hats. Finish off the card front with a few black Adhesive Backed hexagons on the top left and bottom right corners to look like rivets. Be sure to keep your scrap pieces you cut from the Simply Marbleous DSP so you can use them throughout the card as you see on the inside piece in the picture below. Cardmaking Supplies: You can view the list of supplies in the following link, except the Sale-a-Bration products: https://s.tamp.in/DRyP1E Click on the following links for more information about these Sale-a-bration products I used, which can only be earned for FREE with a $50 or more purchase: Awesome Otters Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (DSP) I really appreciate you joining me this week! I would LOVE to hear from you about your thoughts on this card in the comments section below! Until next time ...

Welcome to another fabulous Monday Montage Blog Hop! Today I'm sharing a fun creation using the adorable new Nuts & Bolts stamp set. This was a must have as soon as I saw it! I see some fun Valentine's for my youngest with this stamp set, but for now I have this amazing-kind-human birthday card. I started out by stamping, coloring and fussy cutting each robot. I couldn't decide which one I liked the best, so I used them ALL! Stitched Stars and Amazing Thanks dies were used to add a little extra color, along with the HB2U and Kind Human sentiments. I stamped some extra robots on a piece of Smoky Slate for a little extra fun in the background. Did you notice those fun Resin Stars? I'm going to need a few more packages of those guys! And don't mind the retired Star Crossed embossing folder...I figured since it was still in it's package, it must be current. Oops! Next up is my crafty friend Cathy of Sugar Shack Designs! Or if you want to hop on back, you'll find my stampin' BFF Wendy of Wickedly Wonderful Creations ! Either way, make sure you don't miss a single stop along the way! Happy Stamping! Supplies Used:

Welcome to my blog! If you missed yesterday's blog then you missed me saying that I am posting several cards I designed with products from the 2022 Jan-June Mini catalog by Stampin Up® that will be retiring at the end of this month. I am super sad to see this one go as it is an adorable set. Now this set does seem to be geared towards valentines but you can give a card like this anytime to someone who you are "Nuts About". Plus it will bring a smile to anyone who opens that envelope! I brought in some old favorites to help design this card the Layering Circle Dies. As far as I am concerned these dies are a staple that everyone should have in their card making arsenal! Below you will find the card cuts, instructions, supply list and a video link. Remember this set will only be available for a few more weeks so if you like it don't delay in ordering! Card Cuts: DSP = Designer Series Paper Card Base - Granny Apple Green = 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 Card Stock- So Saffron = 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 - Petal Pink = 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 - Highland Heather = 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 - Basic White = (1) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, (2) 2 1/2 x 2 1/2, 4 x 5 1/4 DSP - Sweet Talk = 4 x 5 1/4 Instructions: Stamping/Coloring: 1. Using Black Memento ink stamp the following A. One robot onto each of the 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Basic White pieces. Then color in with Stampin Blends (I used: Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron and Petal Pink) 2. Using Granny Apple Green ink stamp the sentiment onto the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece along with some hearts in the lower right hand corner. Die Cutting: 3. Using the Layering Circle Dies cut the following: A. Scalloped Circles from the Basic White pieces that you just stamped and colored the robots on. B. Scalloped Circles that are just a bit larger than the Basic White pieces from the So Saffron, Petal Pink and Highland Heather squares. Assemble: 4. Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 DSP piece to the card front. 5. Adhere the Basic White scalloped circles with robots onto the matching Scallop circles in So Saffron, Petal Pink and Highland Heather. 6. Then adhere the largest scalloped circle (Highland Heather) flat onto the card front as shown. 7. Then adhere the other two scalloped circles using dimensionals as shown. 8. Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece to the inside of the card. All Done! Hope you have enjoyed this card. I would love to hear from you so please consider leaving me a comment below!
