Hi everyone, just when you thought I had moved on from using the Lovely Lattice stamp set…
I truly enjoy coloring with Stampin' Up!'s Blends alcohol markers!! These colors are Mango Melody Duo and Dark Highland Heather...very springy! The flower centers are...
Hi everyone, when I first started my blog I had a few reasons for doing so…
Hello, February, Time flies, it is February already. This is my second card of Lovely Lattice stamp set which is the free stamp set of Sale A Bration 2019. Also I used the “Part of My story” Stamp set which is also free set of Sale A Bration 2019 as well. I never thought this
I only used 4 colors on this card, black, white, pink & green. The stamp set, Lovely Lattice, is a sale a bration set so it is free with a qualifying order of $50. I stamped the image with VersaMark onto Shimmery White Cardstock and heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder. I used Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive & Basic Black Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to add color. I used the 2 largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits, the framelits are bundles with a stamp set that I didn't use on this project so I provide a link for the bundle as well as just the framelits. The sentiment is from First Frost a carryover from the Holiday Catalog and still available. If you don't have a demonstrator I'd love to become yours! You can order using the hostess code R7HCXZAY and the shop now button or click on the images below. Let me know if I can help you in any way. Let me start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year. 2019 is already looking to have many changes for me and my family, and I'm getting excited about the new year. May you and your friends and family also look forward to a wonderful year! Today I have my final installment of my Lovely Lattice series. I've been showcasing this FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set for the past few days, starting with a "Beginner" card. See it here. Then I moved on to a "Casual Stamper" card, for those who want a pretty card without the fuss. You can see that card here. And today I'll be showing off my "Avid Crafter" card, for those stampers who love "pretty" and everything that goes along with it. Take a look: This one pulls out all the stops! But look how gorgeous it is! Still using Lovely Lattice, I stamped it on Whisper White card stock with Tuxedo Black ink. The flower portion of the stamp was stamped again on scrap paper. The flowers were colored using Light and Dark Stampin' Blends in Highland Heather, and the leaves were colored with Light and Dark Granny Apple Green Blends. The back of the lattice was shaded with Mint Macaron Light Blends and the outside of the lattice was colored with the Dark Highland Heather. The entire lattice was fussy-cut with my Paper Snips, and then I cut several of the extra flowers and added them with Dimensionals for added pop. The front of the card is beautiful too. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock along one edge with the Wonderful Floral Framelits dies. This created the gorgeous edge with the cut outs and embossed leaves. I balanced the cut outs with a piece of the Whisper White Flax Ribbon on the other side: The sentiment, stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink, is from Humming Along, available January 3rd. It was cut with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies, and layered on Gorgeous Grape card stock. Then the lattice piece was also added with Dimensionals. Two Granny Apple Green leaves were cut with the Nature's Roots Framelits - they cut AND emboss at the same time, for a lovely textured embellishment. The entire front panel was added to a Gorgeous Grape card base and I finished with bling - a few grape-colored Glitter Enamel Dots and some Highland Heather Blends-colored Rhinestones for the flower centers. This card definitely took much longer to make than my previous two cards using the same stamp, but I think the results make it worth the effort. Don't you? Won't you leave me a comment and let me know which is your favorite? Products used for these cards will all be available on January 3rd. Welcome back to my feature presentation of Lovely Lattice, Part II. I showed you yesterday a #simplestamping card, using one color of ink on a Whisper White Note Card and the Lovely Lattice stamp set; you can see that card here. This is a beautiful stamp available through Sale-A-Bration, starting January 3rd, and you can earn it for FREE with a qualifying purchase. Today, I'm stepping it up a bit - a perfect card for those familiar with stamping, but wanting a card that is not too difficult or time-consuming to create. Take a look: L.O.V.E. This is still a simple card - one layer of stamping, using only one color of ink - Tuxedo Black, and only two stamps - Lovely Lattice and Humming Along. Humming Along is a new set from the Occasions Catalog, and will be available January 3rd. I also brought in a few more new products. The Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper and the Old Olive Linen Thread are also from the Occasions Catalog. If you don't have one of these, please contact me to find out how you can get a free copy. Back to my card: I stamped the Lovely Lattice main stamp with Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Then the image was colored with Stampin' Blends in Daffodil Delight, Light and Dark pens, and Old Olive, Light and Dark. The sentiment was also stamped in Tuxedo Black. A thin strip of Gingham Gala DSP in Daffodil Delight was adhered to the side of the card, and I wrapped the Old Olive Linen Thread around the side twice, tying it off in a bow. The most time-consuming part of this card is the coloring - and that's not very hard. But it makes such an impact on this pretty card. Come back tomorrow and see how I used Lovely Lattice once more for the Avid Crafter - those who take the time to make stunning cards. Many years ago when I first started papercrafting I was introduced to the ‘blockfill technique’. Basically I would create a colourful image and then partially surround it with a block of really dark colour, usually black. The beauty of the technique is in the contrast between the two areas. The challenge was getting the dark […]

Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp? This week we are showcasing one of the Sale-A-Bration FREE items, the gorgeous Lovely Lattice, just look at all that beautiful detail! This was the first SAB item on my list, I immediately fell in love with the intricate detail of the lattice, and I do have a thing for florals. Well what do you think! I'm pleasantly surprised at how different the arrangement looks when the focus isn't about the lattice work. I've used Stampin' Blends to add the colour, but you could also use watercolour pencils, or ink with an Aqua Painter or Blender Pen - endless possibilities. I took up the #simplestamping challenge again today. This creation only uses 1 ink and 1 Stamp Set, and me being me I decided to add a little embellishment by way of Ribbon, and also took full advantage of the Silver Foiled Cards. The Sale-A-Bration Lovely Lattice stamp set holds its own with the detail of the stitching and fine lattice in the background, perfect for a #simplestamping card. As you know, I love my bling, so one of my "to to" staples at the moment is the foiled edge cards & envelopes - today the silver to compliment the Highland Heather organza ribbon, another item you can reward yourself with during Sale-A-Bration. Here's a quick stop motion clip of making this card: Stamp sets & Framelits: Lovely Lattice (earn as a free Sale-A-Bration reward) Ink: Memento Black Cardstock: Whisper White, Silver Foil-edged Cards and Envelopes Embellishments: Organdy Ribbon Combo pack (earn as a free Sale-A-Bration reward) Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. This is so bright & bold!! WOW!! Isn't this just a fabulous card! I love it! This card is made using the Happiness Blooms Suite on page 25 in the Occasions catalog!! If you look closely you can see that I shadow stamped some of the big flower images onto the Night of Navy card front. I actually stamped them using my Lovely Lipstick ink pad. In person it shows up really good. Check out the Night of Navy card base & coordinating stripped envelope. They are actually found on page 26 in the Occasions Catalog. They are part of the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. This card is 4 1/4 x 6"- so a little different sized than the traditional card sizes that are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" & go with our Medium Envelopes. I love the colors that are in this suite!! I don't know about you, but I like to have a Thinking of You card or two in my stash. I never know when I will have a friend or family member who will go through a hard time or need a pick me up. For this card I used the "Lovely Lattice" stamp from Stampin' Up! I love the delicate feminine feel to this stamp and can see myself using it a lot! After colouring the stamp with Prismacolor pencils I cut it out using a stitched rectangle frame. I stamped my sentiment directly on to the die cut and added it to some simple card stock layers. Some matching gumdrops finish off my card. Card Recipe Stamp: Lovely Lattice - Stampin' Up! Sentiment: Everyday Mini Sentiments - Whimsy Stamps Stitched Rectangle die - YNS, Lavendar gumdrops - YNS Prismacolor Pencils: Prussian, Kelly and Apple green, Golden Rod, Spanish Orange, Canary Yellow, Black Grape, Violet Lilac I hope you have enjoyed my post! Happy Thursday Peeps!!! Over at The Flower Challenge they are asking for us to use or newest Stamps or Dies. The Lovely Lattice stamp set from SAB is one of my favorites right now. I really love the flowers on this stamp and I really enjoy coloring them. I stamped the image with black stazon onto thick whisper white and colored with my water brush and ink pads. I then fussy cut out and set aside to do the rest of the card. The base is Crumb Cake card stock and then an embossed layer of white, I used the Subtle EF. The pretty gingham is from the Gingham Gala pack. I added a die cut scallop strip from the Be Mine Framelits followed by a small strip of crumb cake The flower piece is added o the base with dimensionals. The sentiment is from the You're Inspiring set. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on a small strip of basic black card stock. I finished with a few little sequins from the Gingham Gala Adhesive Back Sequin pack. Thanks for coming by today! Vicki

Every year my Mom asks me to make a card for one of her dear friends. Okay honestly there is more then one friend that she requests a card for but this particular friend is always over the moon excited to receive a handmade card. It makes me happy to know that my Mom takes such pleasure in sharing a card with someone who appreciates it so much. I have known this friend of my Mom's all my life. She has a huge personality, is kind, caring, full of life and is always dressed to perfection. She is so fun!! This year the request was flowers and her favourite colours are yellow and pink. In my mind, the request made the Lovely Lattice stamp from Stampin' Up the perfect stamp choice. I chose to colour this pretty stamp with Prismacolor Premium Pencils and after colouring hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white line. Watercolor paper seemed to be the best fit to put behind this new lattice die I recently added to my collection. I wanted to keep my paper subdued to keep the focus on the flowers. I added some sparkle around the lattice edge with Stickles, stamped the sentiment and added a few gumdrops to finish it off. Card Recipe Stamp: Lovely Lattice - Stampin' Up! Sentiment: Happy Birthday Script - High Hopes Rubber Stamps Patterned Paper: Watercolor Wash Brights - MFT Lattice Background die - Gina Marie Designs, Diamond Stickles, gumdrops - YNS Prismacolor Pencils: Spanish, Canary, Lemon Yellow, Pink, Blush, Deco Pink, White, Olive, Apple, Spring Green, 20% Cool Grey I hope you have enjoyed my post! Thanks for stopping by!
Today kicks off a lovely color challenge for the Global Design Project - the mix of Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron and Petal Pink couldn't be softer or sweeter! The soft palette gave me an opportunity to play with Lovely Lattice, a Sale-a-Bration stamp set - and I didn't color
Welcome back this month we are sharing the Polished Stone Technique, you may have just popped by from Zoe's amazing project! This is my project this month: I wanted the polished stone technique to feature and have chosen to add stamped images using the Lovely Lattice Sale-a-Bration stamp set. This is an avid stamper project although it is really quite simple. It's a square card - the base card is Powder Pink mounted with Whisper White squares on the front and inside. The technique is done on a square of Glossy White card stock and the stamped images are on a separate piece of Whisper White (fussy cut and layered). The polished stone technique was done using Bermuda Bay and Pool Party re inkers, Isocol Rubbing Alcohol and cotton pads. I was patient and allowed the inks to dry before employing the gloss card in the project. The floral image was stamped on Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I coloured the images using - Light Bermuda Bay, Light and Dark Petal Pink, Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler and Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends. I stamped out the large flower three times and fussy cut two of the images after colouring them. I stretched out the flowers using the bone folder, curling the petals upwards and into the centre of the image. For the first layer I also cut between each petal to allow each to forma separate shaped. The very centre of the flower is just one piece. Once I had cut out the stamped image I layered it onto a piece of Copper Foil Sheet which I cut using the scalloped Layered Oval Thinly. Added housing in Copper Metallic thread behind the ovals and dimensionalised the ovals. You will see that I also stamped and coloured five smaller flowers from the Lovely Lattice set and curled them little too once I had cut them out, I wanted the flowers to feel like they had been scattered at the top. As always I like to dimensionalise my cards and give them a lot of layers. Here is a side view. The colours truly compliment the copper foil and bright Bermuda Bay background. I wanted the polished stone technique to meld well with the project and not be outshone and I hope that I have found that difficult balance. I think that this stamp set is going to be extraordinarily popular for every level of stamper because the beautiful fine line of the images lends itself to colouring an simplistic monochromatic stamping too. . . stay tuned as I feature this set over the coming weeks. Building flowers is easy and makes a massive impact. The sentiment is from the Incredible Like You stamp set which will be released in the Occasions Mini due out in early January. I stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and punched it out with the Everyday Label. I hope you have found some inspiration in my project today and that you feel inclined to give this technique a go. It is great for cards and scrap booking alike and will be a great background or stamping feature on all types of projects. Don't leave us just yet as we have so many other projects to share. It's that time again, a new tutorial bundle and the Design Team Blog Hop - and it's a new year too..... which means Sale-A-Bration is here! I decided to show you two of the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration rewards available this year, firstly the Lovely Lattice stamp set and secondly the organdy ribbon - I've used 2 colours, there are 5 (yes that's right 5) spools of ribbon in the Combo Pack. Here's a quick stop motion clip of how I did the water colouring - I didn't worry too much about staying in the lines, I think that can be half the fun of watercolour! I had so much fun doing the water colour, I decided to create multiple cards, each slightly different, but using the same colour theme, stepping things up each time. The first card is a 1 layer card, with ribbon tied down the side The second, a 2 layer card - Daffodil Delight base, with a complimenting Organdy bow And lastly, a Grapefruit Grove layer on a Silver foil edged card, with a double wrap of Organdy ribbon I can't wait to see what the rest of the Design Team has created, hop around to all the designers in the list below for crafty inspiration, you are currently visiting Sue Vine at Miss Pinks Craft Spot Stamp sets & Framelits: Lovely Lattice (pg 15 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue) Ink: Memento Black, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Silver Foil-edged Cards and Envelopes Embellishments: Organdy Ribbon Combo (pg 7 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue), Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint Tools: Aqua Painter, multi purpose adhesive Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. We are featuring Stampin' Blends Markers this week on TGIF Challenges! They are one of my favorite coloring tools!!!
Sunday afternoon I spent a bit of time making several cards. I realized once I finished that I had done quite a bit of coloring with the Stampin’ Blends. I do love to color. Especially when I have enough time to really enjoy it. In that situation it is rather relaxing and I like to […]

I am in box making mode today and love how this beauty turned out. Not a new idea but I gave it my best shot and added my own colour choices and a beautiful gold embossed lid. The Blackberry bliss card and Petal pink co-ordinate beautifuly and the deep richness of the Blackberry Bliss sets off the gold heat embossing perfectly giving a luxury elegant look. The stamp is named Lovely Lattice and is FREE !! you can choose it when you spend £45 or more during our famous Sale-a-bration. The lid flips closed nicely with no further need for a closure. The finished size is approx 4 x 41/4" x 1 1/2" giving ample room for a variety of uses. TIP OF THE DAY !!! never heat emboss directly onto a box structure as the heat can warp the card and make your box wonky ... trust me because I tried it! Hence my heat embossed image is done on a seperate piece and added after using dimentionals. The detail on the stamp realy is stunning and I am so pleased I didnt over look this unassuming stamp it shall stay firmly in my hoard vault waaaaaaay after Sale-a-bration is over this year. I do have a quick ...ish Youtube tutorial for the box so you can create one too. So grab a brew get comfy and enjoy the video. Measurements and products used are listed below and available in my online shop ... click the photos below to browse the goodies. happy Stamping xxx Amanda Measurements Box - cut petal pink card to 7 x 7" score on all four sides at 1 1/2" Flip lid - cut Blackberry bliss card to 10 x 7" score on long side at 4 1/4 and 5 3/4" then turn to short side and score at 1 1/2 and 5 1/2".
