I introduced our handwriting zoo yesterday. I am telling you people, it is a LIFESAVER! I used to dread teaching the "handwriting lines" (ok, I still do BUT not as much as I used to!) If you haven't checked out the packet yet and you're starting to teach the handwriting house check it out! It's on sale in my TPT store for $3.00 until the end of September. Tomorrow is FRIDAY!! Yay!
I celebrated a huge milestone birthday last month and was thrilled to be showered with so many cards. Several of these cards were hand-crafted. And of those cards, there were many that were made with

That title was cheesy, I know.(wink wink) But I made my daughter a little camera album for Christmas to recap the year...and she loved it! I used my envelope punch board to cut the camera shape out of cardstock as well the pictures. I used my circle framelits to cut the silver glimmer paper lens rings and the acetate lens itself. Everything is Stampin' Up! Pretty easy, really! Thanks for taking a look!

Today I'm going to show you how to make pinwheels - they are so pretty and they really spin! These are a simple, summertime craft project you can make with household materials. Since I wanted to make these for my kids, I really needed to find a way to make sure the pinwheel wouldn't break apart and send pieces flying everywhere! This method works beautifully! I had posted another pinwheel project before, but I just wasn't happy with the results. You can check out my other paper pinwheels tutorial here, but keep in mind that I much prefer this new

Hey, Fun friends! We’re excited to share a fun and festive Valentine project with you, from our recent Follow Your Heart event. We had such a good time sharing with you some new Valentine’s Day inspired products [Let’s be honest, though. These can be used for so much more than just Valentine’s Day!], fun stamps, dies and other pretty supplies you’ll be excited to use to bring paper to life. Let’s share a project you can create with just a handful of supplies, starting with one sheet of cardstock and the FSJ Scoring Board! Isn’t that just too cute?! Imagine all of the ways you can fill those pockets. Photos, handmade coupons or love notes top our lists but you do what suits you and your recipient best. Let’s break it down step by step, shall we? We love our Journey Scoring Board and Crease Tool, they are absolutely perfect for this project and are such high quality you won’t find yourself needing another! When you use these two tools, make sure you give them a good solid score line, that way, you’ll have an easier time creasing the paper. As you can see on this example we created for you, you’re going to score your piece of cardstock [we used Candy Apple] at the 3″, 6″ and 9″ marks. Then, you’ll rotate the paper 90 degrees and do the same thing again. As you can see above, we’ll cut away part of the paper, a 3″x9″ section. You can fold your paper to get your good creases to make it easy to fold up for giving! You can use the rounded side of your Crease Tool to help break down the fibers in the paper, making it easy to fold away! Have you used our Corner Rounder? It’s so easy to use and you can also make notches in paper, too. That is what we used it for here on this project. We’ll simply create notches in the center of each section. Now we can fold our paper in an accordion fold — you know the way, right? Back and forth! Once we’re finished with all of the folding and attaching – you can do the FUN part, right? The printed paper [we trimmed ours to 2.75″x5.75″] goes in the back of each little pocket but each little detail is up to you! Of course, we wanted to add a little stamping so we added details and sentiments from our Love Arrow ATS and All The Feels stamp set. We also mixed in something a bit unexpected, bits and pieces from our Holiday Mix & Match Embellishment Pack. See? Not just for Christmas! We love the dimensional element from this set and how we can use the red embellishments on our Valentine’s Day project! Are you so excited about this project? Do you think you’ll make some of these for the holiday? Why not send these in the place of cards? You can add sweet notes and your loved ones will definitely feel warm and fuzzy inside! Would you like to see more from our Follow Your Heart event? Check out this video and we’re sure you’ll be in the mood to create! I have a new friend and recently discovered her blog. She started a "craft tag" that I thought was brilliant (especially this time of year when we are all looking for Christmas gift ideas). Anyway here are the rules 1. Post a project that you have been working on lately or some thing you want to start soon. 2. Include pictures, a few instructions on how to make your fun project/craft idea, or a link to where you found the idea. 3. Then tag a few people to do the same!! Okay ladies, here's mine. I actually made these awhile ago but I thought I would share this project because I gave some for Christmas gifts and they were a big hit. I got this idea from a scrapbook store in Utah. It's a fun way to organize your birthdays. It's a 12 month calendar and you just write the names of your fam and friends on their month/ day and fill the envelopes with cards to pull from when their special day comes. What you will need: *13-9x6 vertical white envelopes *13 sheets of 12x12 scrapbook paper (its fun if you can find paper to fit the season or holiday of that month) *ribbon to match paper * adhesive *Months and days printed on cardstock *ink/ chalk for edges (optional) *2 book rings INSTRUCTIONS 1. Cut out your scrapbook paper 5 1/2 in. by 8 1/2 in. and a piece to cover the flap (you may want to trace the flap and make a pattern to trace for all of your pages) Ink edges if desired and add ribbon with glue dots or staples. Glue the papers to 2 envelopes so that as you turn the pages the paper and month line up with the flap opening at the top (refer to the pics). 2. Cut out Months and glue to flap. I used a pop-up glue dot on the first letter of the month to add more dimension. 3. Cut out dates, ink, add any ribbon, and glue to paper, 4. Hole punch the bottom of envelopes (you might want to finish all of the months first and put everything in place before you punch any holes, just to be sure that it flips correctly) and add book rings. TA-DA! That's it. It's the perfect project for those of you, like me, who have a bunch of scrapbook paper laying around gathering dust. I TAG : Melissa M., Melissa L., Adrienne, Traci, Heather D., Tiffany, Lacey and anyone else that feels like being creative! It can be something you've done in the past or would like to do so don't stress out if you don't have something you are working on right now. Can't wait to see your projects.
A beautiful droplet style in gentle natural tones, carefully hand stitched onto white line. I individually sew each drop by hand and stuff with a safety standard synthetic filling. Each garland is crafted my myself, with love and care. It's a versatile garland that can easily be moved around the home and kids room, perfect under a shelf, or anywhere you fancy. Simply use a washi tape to stick each end to your wall or a drawing/wall pin through each end loop. This item is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children. Presented in a lovely paper gift bag with ribbon and postcard. Please be aware that this is made to order so please do allow 3 weeks for it to be created for you beautifully by hand with care and a sprinkle of magic. If you live outside the UK then your order may be subject to Customs Import fees by your Country on arrival and your parcel may take longer to arrive. Please take this into account when ordering. x
