Hi everyone, welcome to Day 6 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects. I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards. For this set of cards I have used the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Layering Square Dies and the Forever Flourishing Dies. The base cards are all Gray Granite. Card 1 uses the pieces of Designer Series Paper cut at 9.2cm x 6.3cm. You will get 8 of these cards from the 4 pieces of patterned paper in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack. Card 2 uses the 2.8cm x 2.8cm squares. These have been adhered to a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle cut using the 2nd die in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. You will bet 6 of these cards from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack. Card 3 uses the 4 left over 2.8cm x 2.8cm squares. These have been adhered to a Scalloped Square using the largest die in the Layering Squares Dies. You will get one of these cards. Card 4 uses the 2.6cm x 2.6cm sqaures. These have been layered onto a Scalloped Square cut using the Square Layering Dies. You will get 2 of these cards from the 4 pieces of patterned paper. The cards were all decorated with a leaf spray die cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies. Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for dropping in. Today we have the 18th instalment in my Card Making for Beginners series and we are going to be making some really quick and easy cards using some DSP (patterned paper) and stamped vellum. Once again I have used the fabulous Feels Like Frost papers. As you can see I have made my cards into sympathy cards (needed to make a few for my stash) but this design could suit many different occasions - winter birthdays, Christmas, thank you etc. The vellum is secured behind the panel and on this one I have disguised a couple of glue dots with some Frosted Epoxy Droplets - I added them after recording the video! That paper is so lovely - and it is great the way it coordinates with so many colours of card stock in the Stampin' Up! range. The sentiment I have used is from the Peaceful Moments set which is so versatile with greetings for so many different occasions. If you'd like to see how I made these cards, so that you can recreate them, you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. Thanks for joining me today. Hi Everyone, Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday series and this week I have made three versions of the same card using the lovely Feels Like Frost designer series paper. My inspiration came from a project that I saw Donna Grey make on her YouTube channel but I have changed the measurements and made mine a little bigger. There is a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, just click on the link below: https://youtu.be/1rPjnS5xEGA Materials 1 piece of rococco rose card stock 5 7/8" x 11 3/4" (full length of A4), 1 piece 1" x 4 1/2" 1 piece of whisper white 5 5/8" square, 1 piece 3/4" x 3 3/4" 1 sheet of 6" x 6" feels like frost dsp Gorgeous Posies stamp set Rococco rose ink Silver edged white ribbon for the bow Lovely Labels Pick a Punch Snowflake adhesive backed Multipurpose adhesive Trimmer Bone folder Mini glue dots Instructions Score the rococco rose card stock on the long side at 5 7/8", then turn to the short side and cut down at the 1" mark on the right of the card to the middle score line. Repeat this on the left hand side of the card and remove the two 1" strips leaving just the centre panel attached (see picture). Adhere the whisper white layer to the inside of the card leaving a small border all around the edges. Cut 2 1" strips off the dsp, I've tried to leave the main focus of the piece for the centre panel, so one one card I took both strips from one side and on another I took one from each side. Trims these panels to 5 1/2" from top to bottom so that when adhered to the card, they will leave a small border. Trim the centre panel so that it is 3 5/8" wide by 5 1/2". Add the two 1" strips to either side of the whisper white layer and then the larger panel of dsp to the centre panel. Punch both ends of the strip os rococco rose card and then punch both ends of the whisper white strip. Stamp your sentiment on the whisper white strip and then adhere it to the centre of the rococco rose one and then adhere to the bottom of the centre panel overhanging at either side. Make a bow with the ribbon and add with mini glue dots to the top left of the centre panel. Scatter some sequins over the whole card front. There you are, a quick and easy card but looks fabulous I hope you agree. Here are pictures of the other cards that I made using the same layout. Happy Thanksgiving to all! I just had to case Cindy Schuster's at nutmegcreations.blogspot.com great snow globe cards! I just wish I was better at looping that ribbon behind! Ha! You can see Cindy's cards here. I have been wanting to play more with this Still Scenes bundle. I used the Seaside Spray card stock for bases. I added the same print from Feels Like Frost DSP. I cut the globe in vellum and added to background. I cut the pieces from the Snow globe dies and added the globe. Some I added the sequin in white snowflakes or silver. The churches are cut in silver foil and the animals in Early Espresso card stock and the trees in shimmer white. I also cut the sentiment labels in shimmer white from Lakeside dies. I stamped the sentiments in Early Espresso ink from So Many Stars (with the deer), and Greatest Part Of Christmas host set. I finished off with some Seaside Spray metallic ribbon looped behind the sentiments. Hope you enjoy your holiday and thanks for stopping by! Hi There and thanks so much for stopping by today. Its Bruno here im participating in the monthly design team blog hop for TGCDT - The Gentleman Crafters Design Team (all of the members are from around the world and are ..... MALE!) I have a project to share with you using a VERY popular suite from the Holiday Catlogue - Feels Like Frost. Here is the project; I started with a Basic Grey card base and added a Pool Party layer, a Whisper White layer and a sheet from the the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP. Using some silver foil, I cut out the beautiful layer using a die from the Frosted Frames Die Collection. Using the die from the same collection, I cut out a Whisper White layer to act as the base for the sentiment. The sentiment was two pieces cut out (Pool Party and Basic Grey) from the Thank You die. I adhered this to the card to give the 'drop-shadow' appearance. I love how this card turned out - what do you think? Full Blog Hop List Make sure you hop around to all of the designers below. Hi everyone, welcome to Day 7 of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper projects. I have chosen this piece of patterned paper for today's cards. I really love the imagery in this picture and did not want to hide it too much, so I have kept this card very simple with a sentiment, ribbon and rhinestones. The stamp set that I have used is Peaceful Moments along with the Layering Ovals Dies and the Stitched Shapes Dies. The background strip behind the centre panel is a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 5cm x 10.5cm (or 2" x 4 1/4") which was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. The centre Whisper White mat has been cut at 8cm x 12.3cm (or 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"). The card base is Night of Navy. The two long strips are for decorating the inside of the cards. You will get 2 cards from each sheet of patterned paper, so this is 8 cards from the 4 sheets in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Pack. Metric Measurement cutting guide. Imperial Measurement cutting guide. I hope you enjoy today's projects. They are quick and easy to make and suitable for any occasion, you just need to change the sentiment. Do you like cards that are a little different to the norm? Fun folds are perfect for something a little different, and I have a great fold today.... a swing easel card. Now I must say I hadn't seen this design before when I was cruising Pinterest, it took a while for me to work out what was going on with the mechanism, then I found a tutorial by Amanda Bates - I decided to adapt the design to utilise the Frosted Frame Dies dies and be a normal card size... things didn't go 100% to plan, but I'm still happy with the finished card considering it was my first time even trying this fun fold. I can't get enough of the Feels Like Frost DSP, especially when I add Stampin' Ice, it makes me happy to see all the glitter and bling. Can you also see that I double stamped the feature element? I used the Stamparatus, firstly stamping with delicata Silver, then moving the card stock a little and restamping with Gorgeous Grape. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below. Woodland theme again! You can't escape it on this blog because it's my favourite theme. And how gorgeous is the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper with this lovely Nature's Beauty stamp set? The animals are coloured with Stampin' Blends but I was concerned the colours weren't quite right so I gave the rabbit and deer a swipe with some Seaside Spray ink on a sponge to tie them in with a hint of blue. The silver birches are stamped in Seaside Spray, too, but stamped off so they don't overwhelm. I used the Stamparatus for perfect positioning - just move the plate along one slot each time. The copper leaf accent brings out the colour of the fox (coloured in Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends). I made sure to position them on opposite sides of the card to balance it out.
