One of the first stamp sets that I was drawn to from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog was Nature's Beauty. The snowflakes in the upper right corner are from the To Every Season Bundle and the fab monochromatic paper is called Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper. The other side of the Toile Tidings DSP features everything in Real Red so I couldn't resist making a card that features that side as well. Here are the two together. I was excited to share the inside pages of the 2019 Holiday Catalog and I did just that on my most
Hello and welcome, It is week 11 with the Heart of Christmas blog hop with the ladies from Art with Heart Team and we are showcasing Stampin’ Up! Products from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. This week’s card I’ve created using the Peaceful Boughs Bundle which includes the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set and Beautiful Boughs Dies. Purchasing the two items together as a bundle is a great saving as you can save 10% when you purchase the two products. The colours I’ve used for the card are Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Whisper White. I wanted to keep the card clean and simple. I stamped the second largest branch three times in Garden Green Ink on the Whisper White Cardstock. I’ve used a piece of Garden Green Cardstock and die cut out a branch using the second largest branch die. The pinecones are in Early Espresso and I’ve used the two smaller Pinecone dies. Then I lightly covered them in Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and heat set with the Heat Tool. For the bow I’ve used the Linen Thread and coloured it in with the Dark Suede Stampin’ Blend giving the bow a darker look. I’ve also coloured in the Silver Metallic Pearls with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Marker. The greeting is stamped directly onto the Whisper White Cardstock using Cherry Cobbler Ink and the card base is in Garden Green. Thank you for visiting my blog today and to view everyone from the Art with Heart Team blogs please click here as Tina Gillespie is hosting week 11. If you’re a regular visitor (and, if you are, thank you!), then you’ll know I’m a sucker for a woodland theme. My craft stash is bulging with woodland-themed products – and, with the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, my collection just got a whole lot bigger. The Nature’s Beauty stamp set was sure to end up on my list – and finding out that £2.50 from every sale goes to mental health charities in the UK was a bonus. This is one of the projects we made at Crafty Friday last week. Along with the stamp set, I used the new Beautiful Boughs Dies and the Woodland Embossing Folder. I stamped the fox first, then masked with a sticky note before stamping the foliage around him in Gray Granite. The stark white theme is enhanced with a splash of silver, which echoes the Gray Granite (my silver ink pad isn't due to arrive until today!) and really helps the Cajun Craze fox to stand out.
Hello Friends, Today I'm sharing cards I stamped with Snow Front. I love sets like this with multiple images that can be arranged to create a lovely little scene! Wrapped in Plaid Designer Paper is the perfect background. Each sheet has gold foil accents on one side. The flip side doesn't have foil, but is still beautiful, as on this card: Each of my cards is accented with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter. Crafters and raccoons have one thing in common...we both like sparkly, glittery things. Raccoons have to forage for their shiny things, but all we crafters need to do is open up a Stampin' Up catalog! Ink colors used on this card are Shaded Spruce (evergreens), Cherry Cobbler (birds), Early Espresso (trees & deer), Balmy Blue (pond), Gray Granite (cabin & snowman), and Sahara Sand (swish under the snowman). The stitched rectangle shape is 3" x 4-3/8" and the mat behind it is 3-1/4" x 4-5/8". I stamped the scene on a slightly larger piece of Whisper White cardstock before cutting it with the stitched rectangle die. The glitter is added at the end after the card is assembled. I used a Quickie glue pen purchased from Michael's Crafts for this step. Let the glue dry for a few minutes until it no longer looks wet before sprinkling on the glitter. The greeting is from a separate stamp set called Itty Bitty Christmas. This set is a must-have for Christmas - it has 18 greetings for cards, tags & treats! I had fun making this card. This is also the card I made for our team card swap. I used my Stamparatus to place each image, so making multiples was quick & easy! I have 4 plates (the Stamparatus comes with 2 and I purchased 2 more separately) and used both sides of the plates. The cabin is stamped first, then masked off before the rest of the images are added. Hey peeps! I have a late post today, I've been busy playing with some new goodies from the Holiday catalog...lovely things! I really liked the Global Design Project sketch: as it gave me a chance to use the new Toile Christmas bundle, as well as the new Wrapped in Plaid DSP--they are both delightful! The plaids all have a nice little line of gold running through them, which really makes them special! And the cardinal image is BIG!! I was a little intimidated by its size, but it watercolored quickly after I stamped it in Stazon, and the dies cut it out perfectly! I really like the new dies, they cut more closely and make for a cleaner image. It's also hard to see, but I stamped a sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas on the Shaded Spruce with the new Delicata Golden Glitz ink pad! So pretty---SU hasn't had gold ink for a while, and it's about time!!! So here's a closeup of Mr Cardinal; I added a Gold Foil panel at the bottom as well as a little Gold Thread bow at the top: And the pretty sentiment on the inside: This is a beautiful set, I can't wait to play with it some more! Thanks for popping in today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new Paper Player challenge! No cardinal pictures, but I have been enthralled by all the finches that have been having a feast on my quickly-wilting sunflowers! I couldn't wait for them to start eating the seeds, and it's been a blast! At any given time, I have male and female goldfinches, purple finches (or house finches, I can't tell the difference), and even hummers...they don't eat the seeds, but they seem to find the flowers intriguing! This little female looks like she is saying grace for that big sunflower from which she's about to dine: And look how this little guy has his claws on the edge of the flower so he can hang upside down!! They are very vocal, too...I actually saw one male feeding a female because she wouldn't BE QUIET!! LOL! I took these photos through the screen from my craft room, so they're not very clear, but I hope you like them! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU! Did you have a wonderful Christmas? We certainly did! I have a sneak peek for you today of a stamp set that launches new week. It's called Flowering Desert and I made quite a few of these cards!
Welcome to my first time hopping with the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop!! I am Ann Krucek from the United States of America. I am happy to join this international group of creative stampers! This month we are doing a Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak. So you should be inspired by lots of creativity with the new products. I chose to focus on fall with this post. I used the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper in both of these cards. The first card is actually using a die set that is featured in the Toile Tidings Suite, called All-Around Wreath Dies. I used lots of layering with card stock, foil paper and just a hint of DSP. I also added some more texture by using the Braided Linen Trim tucked in with the leaves. The sentiment is from the Gather Together Stamp Set. 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 The second card I did was again using the Come Gather Together DSP. But this time I used the Gather Together Stamp Set and the Gathered Leaves Dies. I inked up my dies when I ran them through to cut them. So I used Pretty Peacock paper and used a sponge to put white ink on my leaf die, then did the opposite - I used Whisper White paper and used a sponge to put Pretty Peacock ink on my leaf die. I love the effect it gives the leaves. I stamped the pumpkins with Soft Sued on to the wood look paper and used the Braided Linen Trim again for some pumpkin vines. I wrapped the trim around a narrow paint brush and put a very very light coat of glue on the outer side and let it sit and dry for a long time. Don't put too much glue on or it will stick to your paint brush!! Please be sure to check out all of the blogs on our hop today! Here is the list of those participating:
