Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous day! Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you come here from Kathryn Mangelsdorf's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing any project in the 2024 - 2025 Annual Catalogue. I was drawn to this gorgeous sample from the Annual catalogue that uses the Cutest Onesie Bundle found on on pg. 64. It's one of those samples that sometimes "If you blink you'll miss it" but I loved the design of it and thought it was perfect to CASE. I thought this little 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift card would be perfect to use with some of the new products that I've just recieved in my Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue preorder. I've created these 4 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift cards using the new A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Mix & Match Ephemera, and the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack from the up coming 2024 Sept-Dec Holiday Catalogue. So another sneak peek for you all. These three products all have similar colours and all work so well when used together. I'm loving these products! They make for fun, easy and quick crafting with your own personal touch. All four cards have kept the same design as the original sample with the use of the different DSP patterns and the Stylish Shapes circle embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (also from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue) and then it was just a matter of changing up the pre-cut pieces to coordinate with the colours in each DSP pattern. Each card is then finished off with various ribbon, trim and embellishments. I've used some new ones from the new Mini Catalogue like the Pool Party Pompom Ribbon and the Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments and used some trusty old faithful trims like Linen Thread and Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue. I hope I've inspired you with my CASE of an Annual Catalogue sample. Be sure to look at each and every sample in the Annual Catalogue as even the smallest of projects may help you with your creative ideas. Welcome to the Heart of Christmas week 3 for 2024. Do you love Christmas? I love Christmas and I love the mini catalogue each year from Stampin' Up! to see what gorgeous Christmas offerings we are going to have. The September-December Mini is full of fun and exciting offerings and this week I am giving you a sneak peak of one of the stamp sets this year! When I saw this stamp set it had my name on it! Shepherd's Care! For the card today I have made a Faux, Side Step card. Super easy and just perfect for this stamp set. I think I will be making quite a few in this design for the card to give away this Christmas. As you can see the base of the card is in 2 parts the main body is 8 x 5 1/2 inches and scored at 3,6 & 7 inches and the extra side step is a 3 x 6 inch and scored at 4 1/2 inches. The rest is a matter of measuring to the amount of layering/border width that you like to have for your tastes. Now for some of the details. The card base is Pretty Peacock and I have layered that with Lost Lagoon. I am really loving that colour combination at the moment. On the sentiment side I think you can see the gorgeous Season of Elegance Specialty DSP the best which is a Pretty Peacock colour with gold foil through it. I have stamped and heat embossing in gold 2 of the sentiments from the Shepherd's Care and layered them onto Lost lagoon before adhering them onto the different steps of the card over the DSP. For the shepherd and sheep I have stamped onto Basic White in Basic Grey and then using Ivory for the Sheep, Light and Dark Crumb Cake for the head covering, Light & Dark Pretty Peacock and Light & Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends I coloured the image. For the star I heat embossed in gold and fussy cut out and popped it up on a dimensional! Yes, it does fit into our envelopes I made sure before I fixed it on. A fun design that can be replicated quite easily if you want to do many of them for Christmas. Hi Everyone, One of my favorite times of the year in Stampin' Up is the September-December Holiday Catalog and the ability to preorder! I thought I would share one of my favorites from the upcoming catalog. This bundle is called More Than Autumn and the stamps and dies are so cute. In addition to the traditional fall images they did sneak in some marshmallows and a candy cane which helps stretch the stamp set.
