The lovely Stampin' Up! Spotlight on Nature bundle is a joy to create with! To make these cards sparkle I coloured one of them using a Wink of Stella pen.

Summer is just ZIPPING along and my quest to use all of my “unused” stamp sets is moving right along! This week as I play along with the Monday Montage ladies I am showcasing the new and adorable “Tune In” Bundle of stamps and dies! I decided to go all retro with this card since the images were already in that vein. The colors make me sooo happy! Using offset layers I went with Pumpkin Pie and some Regals DSP cut with a couple of the Deckled Rectangles Dies. I then used the Tune In Dies (along with some fussy cutting) to add all of the fun-colored television and accent elements. My favorite element? The White 3/8” Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon! I used my Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Write Marker to make the fun “dot” pattern. The bonus part of this was the little “quasars” that appeared that mirror some of the stamped/diecut images in this set. I just dabbed the marker to the ribbon (originally intending to make polka dots) and watched in happy amazement as the little quasars formed instead! Yay for happy accidents! Stamps: Tune In Paper: Basic White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Azure Afternoon, Granny Apple Green, Regals DSP Ink: Versamark, Basic Black and Azure Afternoon (for “Happy Birthday” and “Quasar\” images stamped inside the card; Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Write Marker Accessories: Deckled Rectangles Dies, Tune In Dies, Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots, White Embossing Powder, White 3/8” Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon Here's a blog roll just in case you get "stuck" trying to hop around ... I've made another card this week using the versatile Stampin' Up! Round We Go stamp & die bundle. I made this Z fold card with the bundle and the Take To the Sky designer series paper. Here's a side view of the card. To assemble the rosette diecuts from the Round We Go set, simply: Diecut 2 rosette strips Add adhesive onto the rosette diecut tabs Concertina the strips along the scorelines & adhere together to form a circle. Gather the top of the circle together and press down to form the rosette. Adhere a cardstock circle onto the centre of the front & back of the rosette to keep it in place. This bundle, along with other stamp & die bundles and machines, will be discounted from this Wednesday, 5 June, with an 10% off the price. The current Stampin' Up! products used on the project can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia. Thanks for visiting.

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is a neutral palette; whites, grays, ivorys, browns or black. I chose browns for this card - Basic Beige and Early Espresso. The floral image was stamped in Early Espresso on Basic Beige cardstock and "colored" with Clear Wink of Stella. The W.O.S. picked up the ink from the stamped image like using a Water Painter, adding subtle shimmer, as well. I love the circle dies in the Spotlight on Nature bundle! I think they're going to be used a lot in the near future. That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps.
