Our updated Stampin' Blends palette includes 11 new Stampin' Up! colours, making a total of 24 Stampin' Up! colours now in the range. 22 of these colours have a light and dark marker in each colour, which gives your so many more opportunities to create beautifully blended colour on your projects. Here's the sketch: My card is notecard-sized; I used a piece of Garden Impressions DSP for the background; my image from Many Blessings was stamped on watercolor paper in Stazon ink and watercolored: I added a frame of Mango Melody and Old Olive and stamped a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings on a diecut from the Stitched Labels set: It came together very quickly! I knew I liked it, but when I set out to make a birthday card and still wanted to use this bundle...I realized I REALLY like it! It's got to be the adorable flowers. They have a watercolored look and are just downright pretty! The flowers are layered on top of sweet Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and some die cut and punched leaves. Good morning! Today I'm playing along with the Fab Friday sketch challenge showcase some of the great products in the Best Route Product Suite which is one of my favorites in the new catalog. I used Pineapple Punch cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Gray Granite cardstock that was embossed with the Big Shot and Maps, Etc. Embossing Folder (I sponged lightly over the embossing to help highlight it. Next I added two strips of DSP from the Best Route Designer Series Paper package for the flags. The greeting is from the En Route stamp set and I stamped in Mango Melody ink on Whisper White cardstock and then used my Big Shot and Layering Squares Framelits to cut the greeting out, as well as the scalloped square mat that was cut out of Basic Black cardstock. Dimensionals were used to attach the greeting to the cardfront. To finish off the card I tied a double bow out of Whisper White Baker's Twine and attached it to the bottom corner of the greeting and stamped the like bike image using Blueberry Bushell in on Pineapple Punch cardstock and then cut it out with the 3/4" Circle Punch (I did use 2 dimensionals stacked to attach the circle so it stood up over the greeting. When I started making this card and saw the bicycle images and immediately thought of my son who took a nasty fall on his bike last week so it will be awhile before he's able to ride again and he was telling me last night one of things he misses most with having a broken wrist is not being able to ride his bike, he will be back on the roads I'm sure, not letting a little tumble get him down!! This was a no brainer! I thought when I saw the color challenge over at fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com this week that I must use the First Frost bundle! I used a piece of water color paper for the background water colored with Balmy Blue ink and my aqua painter. I layered it on a piece of Highland Heather card stock for the base. I stamped the large rose in Gorgeous Grape and the two small ones in Highland Heather. I then stamped the two long stems in Tranquil Tide and all were cut with the matching Frosted Bouquet dies. I also used the dies to cut a white and two Powder Pink filer stems. The sentiment from the same set is stamped in Heather on a stitched white oval with a strip of Tranquil Tide trim behind. A few pearls on the small roses finishes off the sweet bouquet kind of card! Hope you can play along with the color challenge and thanks for stopping by! I started this fun sketch with picking my DSP. I grabbed some cotton print from the Country Lane DSP. I added it to Whisper White card stock and then a Mint Macaron base. I also added the copper foil strip down which give it some bling. I stamped the image and sentiment from Country Home on a thick Whisper White stitched circle in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the image with my Stampin Blends and layered a pearlized doily behind to finish it off. I really like how this turned out which is already on the way to my mom!
