The Tudor Blouse Knitting Pattern PDF Document Inspired by Tudor fashion and the luxurious dresses, with her feminine square neckline, exuberant exaggerated sleeves, ribbed cuffs and a lace weight peplum to allude to the skirt of the dresses. Sizing XS/S/M/L/XL I have a large bust for my frame so the blouse hugs my form a little tighter in the photographs as I wanted to stick to my overall dress size while keeping the sizing within standard sizing. The blouse ideally should have a little positive ease around the bust hence the sizing below. If you want a tighter fit around the bust then size down or use smaller needles. Bust: 92-100/98-106/104-112/110-118/115-123cm Waist: 70-74/75-79/80-84/85-89/90-94cm Length: tailored gauge: 14 sts = 10cm Needles: 5mm circular needles
English and Continental are the 2 most well-known knitting styles. I switched to Continental after many years of knitting English style and it did a lot to improve my speed and tension, as well as reduce strain. Could it be what you need too?

FISHERMAN’S RAGLAN is a rustic raglan-style sweater with relaxed fit and a beautiful, subtle textured stitch panel featuring small herringbone stitch ‘braids’ on front of the sweater and matching decorative raglan-braids. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round, starting with a 2x2 ribbing that flows into the braids on front of the body. The sleeves are knitted separately in stockinette stitch and then joined with the body on a long circular needle. The sweater is then shaped using raglan decreases on each side of the raglan-braids, whilst continuing the pattern on front of the sweater. Subsequently, the neck is shaped with German short rows while continuing the pattern and working raglan decreases at the same time. The turtleneck is worked once again in 2x2 ribbing, with knit stitches flowing out of the ‘braids’ in the pattern just like at the bottom of the body. Please choose a size 10-15 cm larger than your actual chest circumference. For reference: the sample in the photo is in size 2 with 11 cm positive ease.Finished measurementsChest circumference :86 (95) 105 (110) 114 (124) 133 (143) 152 cmYarnWooldreamers Manchelopis, 100 g ~ 230 m - please note that Manchelopis, unlike most other unspun yarn, comes already double stranded so you can knit straight from the plate.Wooldreamers Manchelopis - natural dark grey (Gris MedioNatural) ~ 280 (325) 375 (415) 445 (515) 580 (655) 735 g.Yarn SubstitutesTwo strands of Höner och Eir Nutiden ~ 310 (360) 420 (450) 500 (575) 650 (740) 825 g, Istex Plötulopi ~ 325 (380) 445 (485) 525 (610) 685 (780) 875 g or any other unspun yarn. Knitting Pattern for a sweater with an eye-catching pattern consisting of classic stripes, cables and crochet waves in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL. Structure: The sweater is worked in four parts back and forth in rows in a striped pattern and a cable pattern with crochet waves: first, the back part is worked. You starr with the hem in CC 3. Then, the back panel is worked by in reverse stockinette stitch by alternating CC 1 and CC 2. Afterwards, the front part is worked in the same alternating striped pattern and with a cable pattern creating a “wave-look”. Additionally, there are decreases to shape the shoulders and the round neck. The sleeves are worked similar to the front part – but with some increases after working the cuffs. Last but not least, the highlight of the design is added: vertical lines are crocheted onto the cable pattern creating a wave pattern over the front and both sleeves. The fit of the sweater is close to the actual bust circumference with a little positive ease. If you are in between two sizes, choose the larger size. The length is relatively short and the sleeves are long without much shaping.
