Artist Keith Haring painting Grace Jones in 1986 on the set of ‘Vamp.’ Grace Jones was 36 in 1984 when she, Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, and pop artist Keith Haring all converged in Mapplethorpe’s studio in New York City. The reason for the epic get-together was to shoot photos of Jones covered in body paint done by Haring in his distinctive style. The session lasted a marathon eighteen hours during which Jones was photographed by Mapplethorpe adorned by Haring’s body paint, a towering headdress and an ornate “skirt.” Orchestrated by Warhol—who had introduced Haring to Jones a few years prior—Andy had been wanting to feature Jones on the cover of Interview magazine and believed that an artistic collaboration between Haring and Jones would be awesome. And he wasn’t wrong. However, Mapplethorpe and Warhol didn’t exactly click despite Mapplethorpe’s desire to be among Warhol’s ever-growing gang of muses, friends, and hanger-ons. Het kliklaminaat maakt gebruik van antislip wat zorgt voor extra grip en stabiliteit om vallen te voorkomen. Laminaat is daarbij door zijn reinigingsgemak zeer onderhoudsvriendelijk. De laminaatvloer heeft een dikte van 7 mm, wat bijdraagt aan een goede stabiliteit en het product geschikt maakt voor zowel intensief woongebruik als licht commercieel gebruik. Het product bevat 7 latten wat leidt tot een totale inhoud van 2.36 m². Bijpassende plinten Bijpassende plinten met nr. 661 zijn apart te verkrijgen. Ook kan je kiezen uit hoge witte plinten die in diverse stijlen en hoogtes verkrijgbaar zijn. Voor afwerken van hoeken en kozijnen zijn speciale plintaccessoires apart verkrijgbaar. Daarmee werk je je nieuwe vloer mooi af. Basisvloer Laminaat kan worden gelegd op een betonnen of houten basisvloer. Deze dient vlak, vochtvrij en stabiel te zijn. Zet losse houten planken vast en maak een basisvloer van spaanplaat. Een betonnen vloer mag niet meer dan 2% vocht bevatten en verwerk bij dit type vloer altijd een vochtdichte folie. Daarnaast kan er ook nog een ondervloer voor onder andere warmte- isolatie of geluidsdemping worden gelegd. Het plaatsen van een ondervloer is een uitermate essentieel onderdeel van jouw nieuwe laminaatvloer. De belangrijkste redenen om een ondervloer te plaatsen zijn: kleine oneffenheden worden weggewerkt, is thermisch en akoestisch isolerend. Gereedschap Maak bij het leggen van de vloer gebruik van: decoupeerzaag (voorzien van laminaatzaagje) of laminaatsnijder, winkelhaak, meetlat, potlood en afstandhouders. Onderhoud Laminaat is een hygiënische vloer die eenvoudig en gemakkelijk met een zachte bezem of stofzuiger schoongemaakt kan worden. Goed onderhoud verlengt de levensduur van je vloer. De vloeren zijn voorzien van een harde kunststof toplaag die bestand is tegen dagelijkse invloeden van schoenen, toch kunnen scherpe voorwerpen en zand de vloer beschadigen. Zorg daarom voor een goede deurmat, maak de vloer regelmatig schoon met zachte bezem of stofzuiger met zachte borstel en dweil met zo weinig mogelijk water (eventueel voorzien van een laminaatreiniger). Wees voorzichtig met het schuiven van meubels en voorzie deze van viltplakkers. Een bureaustoel met (zwenk)wieltjes kan jouw vloer ernstig beschadigen.
