Morphology study involves examining word parts (morphemes) and the relationships between words. By learning to examine bases, roots, and affixes, students can develop a deep understanding of our language and enhance their vocabulary development, reading, writing, spelling, and more! Talk about big impact... morphology study pays huge dividends! This morpheme card game is designed to allow your students to apply their learning by building words with morphemes they've studied. Game directions included! Differentiation suggestions included for beginners and more advanced players. Both bound and free bases are included, for easy differentiation. These lists were built for students to use to investigate the meaning of a morpheme by considering words containing that morpheme.
