For me it was the first time shooting during a real winter storm last year. I have been out in snow blizzards, freezing temperatures, windy conditions and constant downpours, but this storm Atiyah last december definitely was another category! Had to shoot this image handheld because the use of our tripod was practically impossible with the rain going up and severe wind gusts up to 120 kmph. The tough conditions also made these fantastic light conditions possible and gave us plenty of unique photo opportunities. 2 image exposure blend to prevent the clipping of the highlights, shot handheld.
