Hello, how are you? Today I'm so excited to finally introduce to you the 'Mini Pin' pin cushion. This cute little pincushion comes in 2 sizes and is a great scrap busting project. ** Even better is that it's a FREE project in my Facebook group: Gather and Sew with Lou Orth There's a couple of questions when you join. This isn't a test, it's just there as a filter for spammers looking to get into the group. Please do answer the questions, just so I know that I'm only letting genuine people in! In the Facebook group you will find a PDF template for both sizes and a video tutorial showing how to make your own Mini Pin pincushion. They are really quick and fun to make and if you make too many (like me) they also make lovely sewing room decoration! Did I mention they are also great for beginner sewers to practice and build on those machine and hand sewing skills! They look lovely in any fabric, you can add coordinating thread for a subtle look or go for a contrasting look with a pop of colour. Plain buttons or fancy buttons, it's up to you! I went fancy with some of these handmade buttons I found on Etsy. Some are flower shaped and they all have sparkle in them! They definitely brought me joy!
