Last week I shared three of Stampin' Up!'s 2017-2019 In Colors with you. Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide. What a great started to this beautiful collection of colors! If you missed my reveal, thoughts and writeup, you can see those posts here: Introducing Three New 2017-2019 In
When you achieve 1 million dollars in sales as a Stampin’ UP! demonstrators one of the perks you are given is the opportunity to design a stamp set. It’s an honor and privilege to design a stamp set for Stampin’ UP! and I can’t wait to see what everyone does with this stamp set. I […]
Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring in color theme. Check out the new 2019 - 2021 in colors and let’s not forget the current 2018 - 2020 in colors. If you would like a copy of the 2019 - 2020 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you. In Color Collection 2019-2021 My first five cards that I have created, I’ve used the In-color Collection 2019-2021 are Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. They are all stunning colours and I just can’t decide which one I like the best. Purple Posy I’ve used the Bloom & Grow Bundle and my Stampin’ Blends to colour in the stamped image. They come in all of the new In-colors except for Terracotta Tile, so I used water colouring instead for that card. Seaside Spray I wanted to showcase the colours by running a piece of Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. Pretty Peacock For the layering I placed a strip of Scalloped Linen Ribbon on the Embossing Folder. I then used Dimensionals with each layer for the Crumb Cake Stitched Label Die, stamped flower image and greeting. Terracotta Tile Rococo Rose Do you have a favourite of the new In-colors for 2019-2021? For my next five cards that I’ve created using the In-color Collection 2018-2020 are Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel. In Color Collection 2018-2020 These colours are fun, bright happy colours and I wanted to create cards using the It Starts With Art Bundle. Lovely Lipstick To begin with I stamped the images in Stazon Jet Black Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock and then I used my Aqua Painter to colour in the images. This bundle comes with coordinating Arts & Crafts Dies so no fussy cutting was needed. Blueberry Bushel In this suite it has a Embossing Folder called Button Button, so I ran a piece of coloured Cardstock through with the Big Shot. Call Me Clover I used the Stitched Rectangles to Die cut out a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock. I wanted to show some variation in each of the colours so with my Aqua Painter I brushed colour onto the Cardstock starting with lighter shade and then adding more colour until I was happy with application. Grapefruit Grove The sentiment is also from the It Starts With Art stamp set. I just love the font and it fits nicely in the Stitched Rectangle Die. Pineapple Punch Before I layered everything onto the Whisper White Thick Cardstock I randomly stamped using two of the button stamps in the same colour. Once I was happy on how I was going to place everything I used my Multipurpose Liquid Glue and added Demensionals for the greeting. I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards today? It’s been a big week for me with three blogs to do and lots of cards that I have been creating. The Sponge Dauber Technique (my name for this) is great to use with highly detailed stamps. Today, I used this technique with a new stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2019-2020 Annual Catalog,
Well hello and Happy Sunday! It feels like YEARS since I've posted! I had every intention of scheduling a few posts for while I was away but ... well ... ya. Didn't happen. My "yay-list" was a mile long and, at the end of the day I just didn't *lol*. Gosh - where do I even START??? Rome. Greece. 2019 Incentive Trip. Was it everything I dreamed it would be? Oh yes. Was it as amazing as everyone said it would be? Definitely. Did I enjoy every minute? Absolutely ... well, I really could have done without the 30-36 degree sweat-fest and the never ending soggy clothes and damp face but I would do it again in a heartbeat, given half a chance. It was worth the 18 months of planning, prepping and stamping. My face hurt from all the smiling. My heart was SO full with all the friendships that were made and/or strengthened. It really was the trip of a lifetime and achieving my goal of earning this trip is in the top 3 life-time achievements for me. Truly. Words just can't adequately describe my emotions surrounding this. It has been a 13 year journey of experimentation, dreaming, self discovery, growing ... it is so much more than "I worked hard to earn a trip". Anyone who has earned one of these trips will understand. It has changed me in ways I can't describe. Well! Enough about THAT, let's see some card projects, right?? (If you want to see pictures from my trip hop over to facebook and find me - my fave pics are there. Wanna see what I was working on for so long BEFORE my trip?? ... the SWAPS I made? I was involved in five batches of different swaps. Each project needed to be different and had different "rules". Although it was a LOT of work to product 98 projects (five different designs) but I really did enjoy doing it. I actually LIKE mass producing. Once I have my design I can sit in front of the telly and crack the off while chipping away at my dozens of recorded Coronation Streets! The first two are swaps I made for the swap I did with my Canadian "sisters". The rules for this one were "anything from the current catalogue", had to have at least one layer and one embellishment. Being pressed for time I headed for my "go-to" layout and made this Christmas card I LOVE with the new stamp set "Rustic Retreat" - I just couldn't resist the images in this one, although they are smaller than I like. That is what I love about my "go-to" layout - it allows me to USE smaller images in a way that still put the focus ON the image. This is a great set for masculine cards as well as Christmas. Only $33 CDN (plus s/h/gst) - item code 150285. You can see in this picture that I used the Woodgrain embossing folder to add texture to my banner. I stamped the cabin and sentiment in Early Espresso ink, and colored the cabin with my blends ... Crumb Cake and Old Olive and added some of our self adhesive backed sequins and some white bakers twine for some added interest. I love how it turned out. My second swap uses the Butterfly Wishes stamp set ... Item code 149346 for $31.00 CDN plus s/h/gst I stamped the imaged in Blackberry Bliss ... and colored the flowers with my Purple Posy Blend markers. I stamped the butterfly and fussy cut her twice - once for the entire body and once just the top wings. I used my rectangle and stitched shapes dies for the layers and sentiment layer. I would have loved to use my Purple Posy ink pad alas, the quality issues have not yet been resolved. An ink pad would make life a little easier but I always still have the option of using my marker and/or blends. Always more than one way to colour/stamp an image, right?? Next up is from the swap I did with Genevieve Ko and other amazing Canadian demonstrators. This one needed at least TWO layers, an embellishment and couldn't be made with a stamp set that was available in the new catalogue PREORDER (ie anything BUT preorder products). I chose the Very Versailles set - $31 CDN plus s/h/gst, item 149275. You'll notice the layout is the same as the Butterfly Wishes card above ... and I once again used Purple Posy as my layer colour, and Smoky Slate as another layer. The sentiments are stamped in Smoky Slate and Basic Gray ... and used some of the Purple Posy scalloped ribbon under the sentiment. The last two were for the cruise. For both, "anything goes", but products had to be current. Recognize the layout? Yup - my "go-to" . Free as a bird is STILL in my top fave sets this year, despite using it a LOT and seeing SO many projects with it. It's just that great!! Item code 149468 and $30 CDN. The paper is the Bird Ballad DSP, $15.75, item code 149592 My last project was also for the cruise ... one of the 3-D swaps. I LOVE this one! It's a little notecards and envelope holder - it holds 4 notecards and envelopes ... These are the notecards inside. I used the Magnolia Lane Suite of products for everything - the stamp set, paper, ribbon ... all coordinate together - love that! I'll be doing a live video in the near future on how to make this little holder. I CASEd the layout from Patty Bennett. I am starting a new "Check It Out Tuesday" live FB event ... ever Tuesday night at 7:00 pm Mountain Time. Search Facebook for "Tamara's Paper Trail VIPs" and I'll add you to the group so you can "Check It Out". I'll be making this project either this Tuesday or next ... we'll see how my time goes! Its a fun, QUICK project and I'm pretty sure once you make one you'll make LOTS - they're kind of addicting! Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon - item 149411 - $11 CDN Magnolia Land DSP - Item 149484 - $15.75 CDN Good Morning Magnolia Bundle - item 151087 - $87.25 So those are my projects for today (only took me 2 hours to finish this post, due to "using a new laptop" technical difficulties - ugh I have a love/hate relationship with getting new technology!). So I'll leave it there for now! If you live in Canada and would like to purchase and of the items shown ... or any other current catalogue items I would LOVE to be your demonstrator of choice. You can shop my store and place your order here. Orders under $200 that use the hostess code JGYA6YYA before July 30th will receive a thank you in the mail from me. I'll leave you with my favourite picture from my trip. This was in Oia, Santorini. I just adore it ... Thanks for popping in, I hope you having a FAB summer so far and have yourself a super stampy day! Tam

If you’re a regular visitor (and, if you are, thank you!), then you’ll know I’m a sucker for a woodland theme. My craft stash is bulging with woodland-themed products – and, with the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, my collection just got a whole lot bigger. The Nature’s Beauty stamp set was sure to end up on my list – and finding out that £2.50 from every sale goes to mental health charities in the UK was a bonus. This is one of the projects we made at Crafty Friday last week. Along with the stamp set, I used the new Beautiful Boughs Dies and the Woodland Embossing Folder. I stamped the fox first, then masked with a sticky note before stamping the foliage around him in Gray Granite. The stark white theme is enhanced with a splash of silver, which echoes the Gray Granite (my silver ink pad isn't due to arrive until today!) and really helps the Cajun Craze fox to stand out.
This week for Freshly Brewed Projects we are sharing different ways to colour your images. I've used Wildly Happy with watercolouring, Blends and blending.

Hello there stamping friends! I'm super excited to be taking part in a blog hop with my Australian and New Zealand friends from the facebook group, ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators). Grab a cuppa or your favourite beverage, put your feet up as there is lots of new Annual Catalogue inspiration to show you today. Our hop today is showcasing products from the ALL NEW 2019 - 2020 Annual Catalogue, which goes live June 4th!! I can't wait for this catalogue to officially go live to purchase from as there are LOADS of amazing products in this catalogue and I for one can't wait to get my hands on some new products!! It's the Stampin' Up! equivalent of Christmas! So exciting! Today I'm giving you a two for one. I'm showcasing the new 2019 - 2021 In Colors as well as a new stamp set and die bundle - To a Wild Rose. This stamp set has been inspired by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Mary Ellen Byler. The cards are all the same and using the same products, just changing up the In Colour for each different card. They are amazing colours in their own right but don't they look fabulous all together too. Each card I've stamped the flower image on the Crumb Cake cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Layered on that is an In Color DSP panel die cut from the In Color 6" x 6" DSP stack, a die cut vellum piece, some ribbon and trim and then the To A Wild Rose flower image stamped with versamark and then heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. The card is then finished off with the 'Hello' sentiment, also from the To A Wild Rose stamp set, the Gold Glimmer die cut leaf and the In Color Faceted Dots. Terracotta Tile Seaside Spray Pretty Peacock Purple Posy Rococo Rose Which one is your favourite new In Color? I'm loving Pretty Peacock, especially when teamed with anything gold, and then a close equal second is Rococo Rose and Purple Posy. What do you think your favourite In Color Combination might be? Might have to try using them all on one creation for a gorgeous and pretty look. If you are after a copy of the new catalouge, please contact me today and I'll get one out to you! Hey there crafty friends. It's lovely to be back blogging. Thanks for hanging in there with me while I had a break with the family and settled the boys back into school. These holidays were a little different for us, as my husband left his job of 30 years in early December, so he has had an opportunity to have a really good break before he starts looking for a new role. It's been lovely family time, and we also traveled interstate to Perth to spend time with my Mum and sisters and their families which was really lovely. Time...
Hello and welcome, Today I will be sharing with you a card that I’ve created for the Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI55. We could choose three or more colours from the six given in the photo below. I’ve chosen Coastal Cabana, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate for my card. I recently received some new Stampin’ Up! products from the Annual Catalogue for 2019 – 2020 as a Demonstrator we can order certain products before the Catalogue has been launched. Follow Your Art Suite which contains the following. It Starts With Art Stamp Set, coordinating Dies Arts & Crafts, Button Button Embossing Folder and this sweet Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit which I just love. I wanted to create my own lined paper, so I used a Stampin’ Blend in light Firty Flamingo and ruled lines across the Whisper White Cardstock. Then I embossed the Button Button Folder in Whisper White Cardstock. The pens, rolls of ribbon, ink refills and clip have been stamped in Stazon ink on Shimmery White Cardstock. With my Aqua Painter I used different colours that I had chosen and watercoloured them in. Have you seen the Stitched Nested Labels Dies? They are so good to use in my creatations and I just had to use two different sizes and stamped the sentiment. I like how you can create more layers to the card. Do you think you would buy this set? If you don’t have a Demonstrator and you would like a copy of the new catalogue. Please leave me a message. I'm going to be using theses products in a adults card class coming in June, so if you are interested in a class please let me know. Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today. Happy crafting. Vicki. Product List: Ink: Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Grapefruit Grove and Smoky Slate Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Shimmery White. Stamp Set: It Starts With Art Colouring Tools: Stampin’ Blends light Flirty Flamingo, Aqua Painter and Stazon Jet Black. Hello, and welcome to my blog! It's the very last Sunday of 2019, and the 'Stamping Sunday Design Team' are showcasing our favourite products from the NEW 2020 Mini Catalogue, available 3rd January, 2020. Thankyou for joining me from Yvonne's Blog, or you may have started right here? Enjoy what we have created for you, and we hope to inspire you with some gorgeous NEW products. Get your Wishlist ready... I have created a 'Tropical Oasis' Shirt (not my design and how to make details below), and a card; remeniscent of a vintage style post card. I stamped the Palm trees using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock. Colouring the trees with 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'. I daubed the edges of the die cut using a 'Sponge Dauber' and 'Crumb Cake' ink. The oval element has been embossed with the NEW 'Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder'. I then used the largest oval from the 'Stitched Shapes Dies'. The Palm Trees background from the divine 'Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper'. The 'Hello' sentiment stamped with 'Early Espresso' ink. 'Tropical Oasis DSP' shirt. You can make 2 shirts from 1 piece of DSP, and the tutorial to make your very own 'Tropical Oasis' shirt is here. Thanks to Carolyn Bennie for her Tropical shirt photographic tutorial - the best tutorial I have found! 'Rest & Relax. You deserve it' Card insert: 7.5cm x 10 cm or 3" x 4" (trim if required) Details... Buttons: I created Coconut buttons by stamping the 'Birch Background' stamp using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Soft Suede' cardstock. Punching with a very small circle punch (from the 'Itty Bitty Bit Punch Set'), and making the dots with an 'Early Espresso' Stampin' Write Marker. Pocket: Using the smallest die from the 'Stitched Nested Labels, die cut the DSP matching the shirt. Trim approximatley 8mm or 3/4" from 1 end. Fold over 3mm or 2/8", showing the back of the DSP. Adhere the pocket flap, and adhere the pocket to the shirt. Thankyou so much for being here, and I hope you have enjoyed my creations? You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Kaylee Van Es' Blog. I just LOVE what she has created! I have the pleasure of sharing a few ideas using the Lasting Lily Stamp Set, along with the brand new coordinating Lily Framelits Dies (150071). Here's a look at the Lasting Lily Set if you haven't seen it yet. I'm telling you guys, these dies are amazing! Not only do they make cutting out and layering your floral images so easy for all levels of crafters, but there are additional dies that are designed to perfectly fit the sentiments in this set. You can see one of them showcased in the card below. One of the things I love about this set is how much dimension is achieved by simply stamping a single image. These are Distinktive stamps which means they are designed to add texture and dimension all in one stamp. You can see in the image below how I've used one of the textured stamps in this set and some Smokey Slate Ink to create a subtle background. For my treat box, I followed the same layout but made it to fit the adorable little Mini Pizza Boxes. I used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder to add a layer of texture and interest. I used Bermuda Bay Ink and Highland Heather Ink to create my two-toned lily's. It's a very simple technique, but so fun and creates a gorgeous ethereal effect. Here's how you do it: Stamp your image in the Bermuda Bay Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. Ink up your Sponge Dauber in Highland Heather Ink and dab it onto the edges of the lily image. Then just stamp your image for a lovely two-toned look. To finish off this cards, I added some sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment and some White Baker's Twine. Here's a close up of the first card: This coordinating products are so fun and inspiring! I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs (full list of supplies below).
