Welcome to a Week 2 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the New In Colours for 2024-26 Stampin' Up!, working in alphabetical order. This week our feature colour is the lovely Petunia Pop which is a lovely Violet colour and one of my favourite of the new In Colours. This week, for me, it's all about the gorgeous new Designer Series Paper, Thoughtful Journey, which features, Petunia Pop along with a host of other gorgeous colours such as Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow and lots of others, but for me Petunia Pop stood out in many of the sheets. The paper is a 6" by 6" and one side is gorgeous serene vistas and the other abstract patterns. In each of my cards I have teamed Petunia Pop with Mossy Meadow and Basic White. Along with featuring the paper I am also featuring another part of the Thoughtful Journey Suite of products, the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set and coordinating dies. For my first card I have chosen the "Triple Layer technique", one I have wanted to try for sometime and I thought the paper was perfect for it. The paper has been die cut using Deckled Rectangle dies and mounted on to Petunia Pop Card. The foliage has been either stamped and coloured in Mossy Meadow, or the stamp set coloured with markers and then stamped. Both have been die cut with the corresponding dies. The sentiment is also from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set and has been stamped in Petunia Pop and die cut once again using a Deckled Rectangle die. Finally a few coloured In Colour Shimmer Gems have been added. For my second card I have featured different piece of the Thoughtful Journey DSP but this time die cut using one of the Radiating Stitiches dies. The base of the card has been embossed using the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder and the sprigs on the left have been die cut using one of the Painted Lavender dies. Once again the sentiment is from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set but this time die cut using one of the Something Fancy dies. I've turned the orientation around for my final card and used a different piece of the Thoughtful Journey DSP. For the stamp in the centre panel I have once again used the Marker to Stamp technique using Petunia Pop and Mossy Meadow. The sprigs have been die cut using White card one of the Thoughtful Wishes dies and then coloured using Stampin Blends. The ribbon is from the new Petal Pink and White Diagonal Trim Combo pack. This time the sentiment is from the new Unbounded Love stamp set and has been die cut using a couple of the Unbounded Love dies. This time the embellishments used are Iridescent Pearls. Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Ros Davidson . I look forward to seeing this week's beautiful creation as Ros loves to use the Colour Coach combinations. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor where you can see a full list of tonight's participants. Well that's exactly what we are doing this month! Hop along to join in our card classes this month using sets that have Carried Over. As always I can guarantee there will be lots of inspiration and gorgeous projects. For my class I'm featuring the Buffalo Check Stamp and combining it with the Garage Gears dies for a masculine card, and the Healing Hugs Stamp Set for a female card. I've also used the Well Said and Perennial Birthday Stamp Sets for my sentiments and dies from the Lovely Leaves Edgelits Dies. Grab the supplies listed at the bottom and let's start! Happy Birthday Garage Card Cut a piece of Basic Black in half to create the card base, score and fold in half. Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in the Stamparatus, line up the Buffalo Check stamp, ink it up using the Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp. Using the Basic Black Stampin' Marker or Stampin' Blends add a fine line between the checks. Trim image to 9.4 x 13.8cm and layer onto a piece of 9.6 x 14cm Silver Foil Cardstock. Wrap a piece of Linen Thread (80cm) around the layers, tie a knot, add two mini silver metal embellishments from the Classic Garage Metal Elements, tie a bow, then adhere to the card base. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Well Said Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and trim. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals. Die cut the gears from the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies in Basic Black Cardstock and adhere to the card front. Happy Birthday Hugs Card Cut a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock in half to create the card base, score and fold in half. Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in the Stamparatus, line up the Buffalo Check stamp, ink it up using the Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp. Trim image to 9.4 x 13.8cm and layer onto a piece of 9.6 x 14cm Basic Black Cardstock. Adhere to the card base. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set onto a 2 x 10cm piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Trim end using the Banner Triple Punch and adhere to card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Stamp the floral image from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set and fussy cut. Add Dimensionals to the back, add Silver Metallic Thread (1m) and adhere to the card front. Die cut three leaves from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies in Basic Black Cardstock and adhere, tucking in under the flower. Colour three of the seven Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends and adhere to the card front. Please tag me if you make them, I'd love to see your cards. I was so sad to have missed OnStage on the weekend for the first time ..... but I was so thrilled that so many of The Crazy Crafters were able to attend. Bruno and I are still in the Philippines and there is lots of work to be done here so we know sometimes things happen that we can't make these events. I am so proud of my AMAZING team that not only looked after each other but also welcome others that don't have such a big team as ours. They are such AWESOME people. Included in these awesome group of demonstrators are those who are Silver Elite and above - these were treated to a special reception hosted by Stampin Up! The also received a special gift from me for their hard work. Yes a MIMCO bag!! WOW! My level one team members received a stamp set and level 2 and 3 a card and small gift of Rhinestones. I really appreciate my team and show them at these events. Here are the amazing awards that I was given this year!! Woo Hoo!! It really is such a bonus to my job as I love what I do and love that it enables Bruno and I to travel and do things for others. I was awarded - Number 1 in Sales for Australia Number 1 in Recruiting for Australia Number 1 in Leadership for Australia Overall I was ranked number 10 in Australia. And number 41 Globally out of approx 40,000 demonstrators!! WOWOWOWOW!! I know that I haven't done this alone though - my incredible team, my loyal customers, my number one assistant Jessie and super supportive husband Bruno have made this happen - so thank you to all of you for another amazing Stampin' Up!® year. One of the main reasons for the OnStage event is to see the new catalogue. I dont have a paper copy yet, however, I have seen it electronically. And, let me tell you (and, I know I say this for every catalogue), but this is the BEST CATALOGUE YET! It is SOOOOOO on trend and full of things that I love. Here are some of the amazing products coming up in the NEW Occasions Catalogue. NOW is an awesome time to join with so many amazing products coming. Click Here to join my Crazy Crafters team. Feel free to pin these new product boards to pinterest. PLEASE NOTE: The spoiler alert has been lifted and it is within policy to show you these new boards.

A crafty friend of mine made my day when she told me she had a Stampin' Up Round Tab punch that she would sell me! Sounds crazy, right? Well...I am quite an organizational nerd and saw a notebook on pinterest (enough said about that) with these cool colored index tabs used in a notebook. It was like love at first sight and upon digging a little into the "pin" as one must do, I found that these awesome tabs were created with a punch (much like a hole puncher). So then my mission became finding one. I checked the Stampin' Up webpage and eBay, but before ordering from either place I put a plea out on facebook. I knew I had many crafty friends and one responded willing to part with her punch...so now that bad boy is MINE and I am so very excited about it. I know it is weird or crazy or even uncool to be this excited over an index tab, but I just can't help it - it is one more way for me to help my students get organized. Here is my teacher interactive notebook for social studies. And to the right of my notebook is pure awesomeness in a small little punch. You can see the shape it makes and then it is folded in half, with a page glued/sandwiched between it, and then labeled. Like magic, we have the coolest index tabs for our notebooks with little cost. I have 27 students in each of my classes and was able to punch enough tabs from ONE sheet of cardstock for the entire class! I think that is just pure genius! This is just a picture of my amazing punch turned upside down. My notebook with a close-up of the index tabs in place and labeled. I am not the best photgrapher, but my phone takes much better pictures than my digital camera. Student notebooks for social studies with their index tabs in place. Many of them wouldn't admit it, because it is so uncool, but they pretty much thought these tabs were pretty much as EPIC as I did!
