Here with a quick and colorful anniversary card using Stampin' Up's Simply Zinnia stamp and die sets. Details: zinnias stamped onto watercolor paper using Versafine Clair Acorn ink, then watercolored with Daniel Smith watercolors. Splashes of watercolors dot the background panel that is layered over a panel of Stampin' Up Sweet Sorbet cardstock. The anniversary sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Typewritten Year Round Greetings, die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die. Thanks for checking out this festive design! See you tomorrow with a brand new post!
I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today. I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.

Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous Sunday! Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you've come here from Peta Stephens blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing the colours from the stunning Wildly Flowering DSP found in the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Crumb Cake Early Espresso Misty Moonlight Moody Mauve Mossy Meadow Wild Wheat Click on the colour to find Stampin' Up! products in that colour. Isn't the DSP gorgeous?! It hasn't really caught my eye until recently and I've just ordered it myself. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can cut it up and get creating with it. While the DSP has 7 beautiful Stampin' Up! colours in it I've only used four of the colours today for my card for you today - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, and Moody Mauve. I've not used Moody Mauve much so it was nice to be challenged to use a colour that I don't normally use. Today I've used the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusive Simply Zinnia Bundle for some Stampin' Blends Colouring. To colour the Zinnia Flowers I used Dark Blackberry Bliss and then Light and Dard Moody Mauve. I tested a few other colour combinations with the Stampin' Blends Markers but this was the best combination to get the graduation of colour that I was after, going from dark to light. I find adding that 3rd or sometimes 4th colour when colouring with the Blends gets a better depth of colour. The base of the card I've layered Early Espresso, Moody Mauve, Country Woods DSP and some Basic White. On the Basic White panel I did clear emboss the Zinnia flower over the panel but it's hard to see in the photo. The embossing gives a pretty sheen over the white panel. I layered the Zinnia flowers on two Spotlight in Natrure circle die cuts and then I've finished the card off with some linen thread, Early Espresso splatters, Iridescent Pearls and a Moody Mavue Happy Birthday. I hope that I've inspired you with my CASE of the Wildly Flowering DSP. I love the moody vibe of these colours together. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop to get inspiration from the CTC team. Next up on the hop is the fabulous Andrea Sargent with her fantastic creation. I had so much fun coloring the Simply Zinnia stamp from Stampin' Up! with BOTH my Stampin' Blends markers and Watercolor Pencils! Yes, you can combine them on one image!! The watercolor pencils tend to give a lovely deep shading or shadow effect that sometimes I can't get with just the markers. I'm including all the color combinations I used, but just a reminder: the new colors (Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock) will not be available until 5/1/24 to customers. I'm here today to bring you my card for the NEW challenge we have over at Just Add Ink Challenges - Just Add Ink #698 - Just Choose Two Challenge. Today for our Just Choose Two challenge (to choose two items to feature on your project) we are choosing from Leaves, Flowers and Pots. I chose leaves and flowers for my 'Just Choose Two' but that was pretty much a given as I'm a sucker for a pretty flower stamp set and card. I've used lots of layers, embossing, die cutting, ribbon & trim, and the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusive bundle Simply Zinnia for a pretty floral card using Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. I've not used my Stampin' Blends for a while now so it was good to get them out and get my colouring on. I've used Basic White and one of the new In Colors - Pretty in Pink, for my cardstock layers and then to colour in the Zinnia flowers I used the Blends - Melon Mambo Dark & Light, Pretty in Pink Dark, Pumpkin Pie Light, and Lemon Lolly Dark to colour in the flowers. I used Granny Apple Green Dark & Light to colour the leaves. I'm loving this pink on pink colour combo. I love the gorgeous contrast between the dark and light pink shades. Super pretty! I finished the card off with a layering of ribbon and trim and added a few Irridescent Pearls to add to that pretty look. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team on the JAI Blog. Go and check out to see what 'two' elements they all used this week and then while you are there you can see how you can enter your project. Can't wait to see what 'two' you used. Today I made a video showing how to make a Corner Fold Card. This design is elegant and I found it on Pinterest posted by Marsha LaFroth.
I love to collect and use Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. While we have so many brand new Designer Series Papers in the 2024 Annual Catalog to play with,
