Today I'm sharing a simple card that packs a lot of punch. My first introduction to Accented Blooms generated a big 'Yay!' from me - I love any stamp set that incorporates a punch we already love. This new set includes three shapes that coordinate with the Tailored Tag punch

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. How has everyone’s week started out? I can’t believe that August is here already. This summer is flying by way too fast for me. For today I ha…
Hello and welcome, Today I will be sharing with you a card that I’ve created for the Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI55. We could choose three or more colours from the six given in the photo below. I’ve chosen Coastal Cabana, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate for my card. I recently received some new Stampin’ Up! products from the Annual Catalogue for 2019 – 2020 as a Demonstrator we can order certain products before the Catalogue has been launched. Follow Your Art Suite which contains the following. It Starts With Art Stamp Set, coordinating Dies Arts & Crafts, Button Button Embossing Folder and this sweet Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit which I just love. I wanted to create my own lined paper, so I used a Stampin’ Blend in light Firty Flamingo and ruled lines across the Whisper White Cardstock. Then I embossed the Button Button Folder in Whisper White Cardstock. The pens, rolls of ribbon, ink refills and clip have been stamped in Stazon ink on Shimmery White Cardstock. With my Aqua Painter I used different colours that I had chosen and watercoloured them in. Have you seen the Stitched Nested Labels Dies? They are so good to use in my creatations and I just had to use two different sizes and stamped the sentiment. I like how you can create more layers to the card. Do you think you would buy this set? If you don’t have a Demonstrator and you would like a copy of the new catalogue. Please leave me a message. I'm going to be using theses products in a adults card class coming in June, so if you are interested in a class please let me know. Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today. Happy crafting. Vicki. Product List: Ink: Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Grapefruit Grove and Smoky Slate Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Shimmery White. Stamp Set: It Starts With Art Colouring Tools: Stampin’ Blends light Flirty Flamingo, Aqua Painter and Stazon Jet Black. Dies: Stitched Nested labels and Arts & Crafts Other items: Big Shot, Button Button Embossing Folder and Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit.

Hello there stamping friends! Welcome to the July Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! The team has so many amazing creations for you to see! I hope that you take the time to check out all 16 blogs! With so many different looks and creations, there is so much creativity to inspire you. There is something for every different creative style. So lets get hopping! This month we are all about the Perennial Essence Suite products from the 2019 - 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Have you seen this gorgeous suite yet? The products of this suite can be found on pg.106 - 108 in the new Annual Catalogue. So pretty! This amazing suite has a the gorgeous Floral Essence Stamp Set and the coordinating Perennial Essence Flower Punch. Got to love the Stampin' Up! product coordination! Another amazing product in this fantastic suite is the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. The Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper features hand-painted impressionistic imagery in rich colours and it is beautiful enough to be framed on its own! Just so stunning! I've combined the Floral Essence Stamp set and the beautiful Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper with some of the other stunning products in this suite - Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock, 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon in Petal Pink and the Perennial Essence Floral Centres. I've used the colours from one of the sheets of the DSP as the colours for my projects today. I'm just a sucker for any product that has a hint of pink in it so I started my card today with the Petal Pink Vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock, which comes in three colours - Old Olive, Petal Pink and So Saffron, and ran it through the Subtle Embossing Folder for that gorgeous 'sublte' hint of embossing. The Subtle Embossing Folder just adds that something special without it being too much. Layered with the Perennial Essence DSP, the 5/8" Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon and images from the Floral Essence Stamp set, it makes for a pretty in pink creation. I've used nearly all the same products for my second card but changed up the look. I wanted to soften the look of the DSP layer, so over that I layered an embossed layer of Vellum Cardstock. The colours of the DSP show through the vellum but the 'busyness' of the DSP is toned down. I've embossed the flowers with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder on Shimmery White Cardstock and then using an Aqua Painter, water coloured the flowers with Petal Pink Classic Ink. The touches of gold really accent the Petal Pink elements and the Crushed Curry tones in the DSP and the embellishments. I love how these all these elements look layered up and the Basic Black sentiment panel is a beautiful contrast to the soft colours on the rest of the card. This is such a gorgeous and pretty suite and I do hope that I've given you some inspiration on using some of the products from the Perennial Essence Suite. It's just so pretty! Every month I like to make a special card to give to my downline who rank in my Top Ten for Sales. In May, I chose to use the stamp set called Crafting Forever and I picked a new Designer Series Paper to work with called Follow Your Art. Oh my, what fun!! When you watch the Facebook Live Rebroadcast below you will notice that I used a different pattern for that card because I'd already used up all the sheets I had featuring the one I picked for my Top Ten Cards. All the paper in this paper pack
I used the Stampin’ Up! My Meadow stamp set from the upcoming January-June 2020 Mini Catalog to create my card to share with you today.
Confession time. When I first flipped through Stampin' Up!'s 2019 Annual Catalog, I sort of turned my nose up at It Starts with Art and thought, 'There's no way I'd use that bundle.' As the story goes, I picked up the bundle and now can't seem to put it down.
I am sharing a card made with the You Always Deliver stamp set, this would be a great stamp set for anyone who has is small business where they are shipping our orders and want to include a little something special for your customer along with their purchases! When I attended the Stampin' Up! Ohio Business Gathering in Columbus the other day and made these special cards for the ladies on our Buckeye Inklings Team by combining the You Always Deliver set and the Grandma's House stamp set. This would work for Etsy shop owners, Avon ladies, Thirty-One bags, Chalk Couture - you get the idea! I don't know about you, but I love it when the UPS truck stops at my house! Here is my recipe: Crumb Cake cardstock base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half. Soft Suede - 5 1/4" X 4" mat layer Daffodil Delight - 5" X 3 3/4" mat layer Whisper White - Stamped layer - 4 5/8" X 3 5/8" I stamped the delivery man, the sunshine sentiment and the house with Memento Black ink using my Stamparatus, then colored the scene using Stamping Blends. I stamped the little dotted circular stamp in the now retired set of Balloon Celebration to make the sun over the word sunshine. I stamped the packages on Crumb Cake paper and fussy cut those out and adhered it in the delivery man's hands with some Dimensionals. Then cut a piece of the gingham Crumb Cake DSP with my stitched rectangles die, sized 3/4" X 2 1/2", I punched a Classic Label out of Daffodil Delight and stamped the sentiment with Soft Suede ink, I adhered the label on the gingham with Dimensionals as well. I topped it all off with a little double bow tied with Linen Thread and adhered it to the corner with a glue dot. 📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦 I hope the UPS truck stops at your house today with something good! If you want it to stop at your house with some fabulous Stampin' Up! Supplies you can start shopping right here on my web site! If you don't already have a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator that you work with - I would love to be your coach! You can shop 24/7 by clicking the little store front on my side bar, that will take you to my Stampin' Up! store. Please use the hostess code that is posted at the top of the side bar. Good Day Crafty Friends, Welcome to the 2019 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for July. Can you believe this crew of talented artists have been creating wonderful projects together for over six months. We have officially pass the half way mark of our amazing journey, and wowsers, what a journey its been so far! We had a challenging start with a few cancelled projects but this amazing group of talent stood up to the challenge and we nailed the new assignments every single time. I am so proud to be part of the 2019 ADT, I love these ladies and cherish the bond we have created. I will be sad when this amazing experience is over, but forever grateful for the friendships this opportunity has given me. Enough chit chat about that before my eyes start leaking lol. Lets get onto this spectacular Blog Hop. This month the Artisan Design Team are showcasing the gorgeous Perennial Essence Suite. You can find all the stunning elements in this floral packed suite on Page 107 in the 2019 Annual Catalogue. So many pretty components in this product suite and omg the Perennial Essence DSP Pack is just amazing. For those who want it all, you can now order all the items in a product suite with one code, the Perennial Essence Product Suite code is #152166 and includes all the items featured on Page 107. I have to admit I was a little intimidated by this gorgeous Monet inspired Designer Series Paper (DSP). Each sheet makes for a stunning framed art decor item (which I have done in my crafty space by adding left over pieces of the DSP to plain white frames). Also, I had never seen coloured vellum so this really freaked me out lol Everything is so pretty and delicate I seriously struggled with those first cuts. But cut I did and what do you know? After a little play, I was away and managed to create a whole heap of projects. The first card I have to share with you today has an embossed gold Foil border, framing the piece of DSP like it were a picture hung on a wall. The Whisper White Background has been embossed with the Lace 3D Embossing Folder to match the embossing on the Gold Foil Frame. The Gold Foil and Whisper White frames were created using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The stamped images were inked with Rococo Rose and fussy cut, with the leaves gold heat embossed on Vellum Cardstock. The sentiment was also white heat embossed onto Vellum and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The second card is where I went a little cray cray with the sewing machine. I am not a sewer and only own the machine for card making purposes lol. I admire those who can sew in perfectly straight lines. Hint/Tip To achieve straight lines when sewing on cards, use a ruled pencil line as your guide - thanks to Melody Hyde (Stampin' Up! Concept Artist) for this awesome tip. Again, using the framed art concept. This frame was kept white as I found it helped the white heat embossed sentiment stand out a little more prominently. The Stitched Nested Labels Dies were used to die cut the vellum sentiment, which was added to the backside of the frame before adhering to the DSP card front. The floral images were inked with Blushing Bride and then sponged in the middle with Melon Mambo. Granny Apple Green ink was used for the leaves. The detailed white foliage pieces you can see behind the floral images in both this and the first card I shared, are actually a Memories & More Card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack. The laser cut seaweed inspired M&M card was ideal for these images as the die cuts are so delicate and complimented the stamped image perfectly. The last card in this trio is mainly created with Vellum Cardstock. Yep that base is Vellum!! The quality and thickness enables it to stand and therefore perform like a standard piece of card stock. A panel of DSP has been covered with plain vellum and then this was sewn directly onto a panel of Petal Pink Vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock Pack. The floral images were white heat embossed onto the same Pink Vellum and then fussy cut. Mint Macaron stamped leaves were tucked under the flowers and a white heat embossed sentiment was added to the top panel of Vellum just to the right of where the flowers are placed. When I went back through my photographs of creations using elements from the Perennial Essence Suite, I realised I sure did make a few cards with these amazing products. I really love the floral images in this stamp set and it also turns out I used the DSP quite heavily too. Yay!! Here are a few projects for further inspiration. This next creation I have to share is a pocket card and combines a few other products outside the suite. I wanted to show you that the Perennial Flower Punch, which is part of the Perennial Essence Suite, can be used to create these stunning 3D flowers simply by punching plain white tissue paper. Once you have all the layers glued together - I used small dots of Multi Purpose Glue, I popped one of the fluffy Perennial Essence Floral Centers in the middle and voila - such a pretty, delicate and realistic looking paper flower. The Belly Band for this Pocket Card was decorated using the Detailed Bands Die cut from Whisper White card. The fern image from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set has been stamped in Granny Apple Green and fussy cut. The floral images on the Pocket Card insert has been inked in Daffodil Delight with Grapefruit Grove ink sponged in the centre. A Stitched Circle die cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock was adhered to the top of the card insert, then a hole punched in the centre so that some Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon could be added for the pulling mechanism. Just in case you were still sitting on the fence with this fabulous Suite of Products, I have a few more projects to share with you (insert smiley face here) Okay, seriously, I hope you are still with me and I've not put you to sleep yet. Rest assured, that is all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by and hopping with us. The Artisan Design Team appreciate the time you have invested to visit our blogs. I just had to play along with the final Cas(e) this Sketch. My inspiration for the card came from that sassy little Will who still won't say Grandma. I babysat for him yesterday afternoon while we watched the football playoffs. We had a grand time playing with mini footballs and eating snacks. When his mother came to pick him up I reported that he had learned what a football was and how to cluck like a chicken (don't ask) but still not a Grandma type word had escaped his lips! She laughed and started to sing Baby Shark. He started doing hand motions (who knew there were hand motions?!?) and when she got to Grandma Shark he made the Grandma Shark motion and looked at me. I guess that's a start! And of course you know what is on the inside of this card....... Such a fun sketch to work with! Stamp Set: Shark Frenzy Ink: Basic Gray, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue Paper: Whisper White, Whale of a Time DSP
Hi there, welcome to my blog, today is the day of the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop, I am privileged to be a member of this inspiring group of demonstrators. Do have a look at their blogs (links further down). Today's theme is to create and inked background. In the UK we are still waiting for a product called Pigment Sprinkles to get through European customs. However there are lots of products available that can produce some very effective results. As it was the end of the school term my daughter wanted to make some cards for her teachers and teaching assistants. We made some inky backgrounds on the Shimmer White card, then stamped and decorated. After the cards were made I had made this banner with the Pop of Petals stamps. Here is the video explaining how it was all done, I hope you will inspired to get inky and create custom backgrounds for your creations. Here are the other fabulous bloggers... Hello and welcome to my blog. Earlier in the month I took part in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights and after the voting closed I was thrilled to find myself in the top ten, and hence eligible to take part in this winners blog hop. Thank you so much to everyone who visited the gallery and voted for my card. If you missed it, you can read about it here. The card for today's blog hop is the same but different! It uses the same suite of products and it's also a fun fold card, but I've changed the way I have put them together. The base card is made from Just Jade and is topped with a layer of Designer Series Paper and a thinner layer embossed with the Seabed folder. For a change, this time the flap is circular! It was made by placing the largest scalloped layering circle die on a folded piece of Just Jade card with the edge of the die over hanging the fold slightly so that it doesn't cut a complete circle, thereby creating a flap. I layered a second scalloped circle in Pretty Peacock over the top to contrast with the DSP and adorned the seabed with a whale, some seaweed, made from sheer ribbon and the Sprig punch, and a Thanks a ton banner. The inside of the flap has Whisper White die cut circles decorated with little fish. My favourite bit about this card is the bubbles in the water. They are simply small dots of glue from the fine-tipped glue pen! I also added a blob on the whale's eye to make it raised and shiny. You are currently visiting Karen Henderson - thank you for stopping by today. You can follow the hop and look at the projects from the other winners by clicking on the names below: If you want to purchase the items used for this card, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. They are amazing colours in their own right but don't they look fabulous all together too. Each card I've stamped the flower image on the Crumb Cake cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Layered on that is an In Color DSP panel die cut from the In Color 6" x 6" DSP stack, a die cut vellum piece, some ribbon and trim and then the To A Wild Rose flower image stamped with versamark and then heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. The card is then finished off with the 'Hello' sentiment, also from the To A Wild Rose stamp set, the Gold Glimmer die cut leaf and the In Color Faceted Dots. Terracotta Tile Seaside Spray Pretty Peacock Purple Posy Rococo Rose Which one is your favourite new In Color? I'm loving Pretty Peacock, especially when teamed with anything gold, and then a close equal second is Rococo Rose and Purple Posy. What do you think your favourite In Color Combination might be? Might have to try using them all on one creation for a gorgeous and pretty look. If you are after a copy of the new catalouge, please contact me today and I'll get one out to you! Now on to the fabulous Kelly Kent in Western Australia to be inspired by her 2019 -2020 Annual Catalogue creations. 1. Lou Kitzelman 2. Rochelle Blok - You are here 3. Kelly Kent 4. Jo Stubbings 5.
