Pretty Kitty Dimensions: Calypso Coral CS - 4 1/4 x 11 (score at 5 1/2), 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (3 for scalloped circles) Whisper White CS - 4 x 5 1/4 Shimmery White CS - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (3 for circles) Paper & Ink Sketches Today's card was created using the Paper & Ink Sketch's sketch. I have to admit, I was not a fan of this sketch when I first saw it. BUT when I sat down to play with it, I ended up LOVING the way it turned out!! Gotta love those little kitties from the Pretty Kitty stamp set!! SO STINKING CUTE!! I TRIED to use patterned paper with these kitties, but found that it distracted from the kitties too much. SO I ended up going with a more clean look and just went with Calypso Coral and Whisper White CS. The sequins and pearls came from the Sprinkles Embellishments. The beautiful Calypso Coral ribbon is in the Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment kit. LOVE that ribbon!! If you would like to play along with the sketch this week, head over to my FB page, Jen's Scrappy Pages. The sketch challenge is open till next Tuesday the 14th and is open to anyone who would like to play along!! I will hold a drawing on Wednesday for those who played along to win a fun little goodie to be sent to them!! Want to print out the dimensions and photo of this project? Click the "supply list" at the bottom of supplies used for a printable/downloadable PDF. Don't forget, if you place an order that is less than $150, to use February's Hostess Code J4Z9S6CS. I send out thank you gifts at the end of each month to those who order from me!! Stampin' Up! Supplies Used: Thanks SO much for stopping by!! Hope this inspires you to play along with the sketch this week!! Happy Stampin' Up! Jen

I have a confession. This stamp set, Pretty Kitty, was on my first order. I have been pulling it out to look at it and then putting it back again because it requires COLORING. Which gives me terrible anxiety 🙁...
Our niece loves kitties, so the 'Pretty Kitty' stamp set is perfect for her. On a previous card, I created a lovely card using frogs around the border, so I thought to do this here -- but with kittens. I colored the kittens with my Stampin' Blends markers, and each one is a little different, but the same color. I used a Stampin' Write marker to create the lines and dots for the border. Thanks for taking a look. Supplies used: Stamp Sets - Pretty Kitty, Wonderful Moments Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Highland Heather, Gray Granite, Petal Pink) Paper - Highland Heather, Basic Black, Whisper White
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts with me Jay Soriano. It's time for the Paper Craft Crew challenge and we have a fun Tic-Tac-Toe for you this week #PCC282. If your new to this type of challenge, you just need to choose any 3 elements from the image below and include them on your project. You can then enter it at Paper Craft Crew Challenge Blog I went for the middle down line to inspire my project using Pretty Kitty stamp set from the 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue Pear Pizzazz Card Base 29cm x 10.5cm Vellum 14cm x 6cm Wild Wasabi layer 12cm x 4.3cm Sahara Sand mat 10.6cm x 7.6cm Whisper White topper 10cm x 7cm I used the masking technique to seamlessly create one image using 3 stamps. This was achieved by stamping on sticky notes which were fussy cut after. Stamp the main image on the Whisper White topper then cover with the sticky note mask before stamping the next image. The created image was then coloured with Stampin' Blends I am also entering this card to the following challenges: TGIF Challenges #TGIF148 ~ Masking Technique Inspire.Create.Challenges #12 Theme: Animals Deep Ocean Challenge Blog #175 ~ Cute and Cuddly I hope you are inspired with my project for our Tic-Tac-Toe challenge #PCC282. Here's a cute card for my cute niece who is turning 14! Wow! Can't believe how fast all my nieces and nephews are growing up! It's great to hear their views and attitudes about things... and how they've changed as they grow. My niece loves animals, so this card was really not hard to come up with... although... she's not a pink person... so had to incorporate other colors for her. Thanks for stopping by! Supplies Used: Stamp Set - Pretty Kitty Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie) Paper - Bermuda Bay, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White Accessories - Big Shot, Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (DTIEF)
The challenge is "Cute & Cuddly". I thought the Pretty Kitty was purrfect, (get it? LOL). You can play along too: http://suochallenges.com/ This card is for my niece who has a birthday next week. I

Hello my friends! I hope you're doing well. It's nearly Valentine's Day and I have a couple of cards left to get done. ACK! Time goes by SO FAST when you have deadlines. lol. So I thought I'd do my project with you on this month's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop! Enjoy!! Today's card project is a super sweet little kitty Valentine. The girl I'm making it for absolutely LOVES kitties! This will be perfect for her. The "PRETTY KITTY" stamp set is absolutely adorable and pairs up very well with the sentiments in the "MEANT TO BE" and "FOREVER LOVELY" sets. You'll need: 1 - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Whisper White Card Base (scored at 4 1/4") 3 - 2" x 2" Real Red squares 3 - 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" Whisper White Squares I stamped all three kitties in Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored the bows and string in Real Red. I also used the light Petal Pink Stampin' Blend marker to color inside the ears, the cheeks and the nose. That little detail really made the kitties cute! After I colored all three kitties, I matted them onto the Real Red squares and then laid them on the card. I made sure to leave enough room for me to stamp on the bottom corner. A few little red hearts stamped around the front finished it up nicely. And then, to decorate the inside of the card. This can be done without embellishment, but with just a bit of color! It really does make a HUGE statement to a card! See? Isn't it adorable?!! I just love it! Of course, there's still room to write something inside as well, and it makes a really nice inside. Now that we've done all the hard work on the card itself, it would be a shame to put it in a plain ol' white envelope. Don't you think? There! That's better! Something small and cute, but certainly an attention getter! The recipient is not likely to just toss this in a pile on their desk, are they? Well, there we have it my friends! A super ADORABLE little kitty Valentine's Day card that anyone would be thrilled to receive!! I hope you enjoyed your visit today! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of today's card. Also, I'd love for you to "FOLLOW" my blog so that you'll be notified when I post again. Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my post! Hello Crafty Friends, Hope you are having a fabulous day. I am super excited to share today's post, as the card I have created is for the Just Add Ink Challenge Blog, as a Guest Designer!!! To say I was ecstatic when asked to join the Design Team for August & September is an understatement. I danced around the lounge, then quickly questioned if there had been some kind of mistake, and I had received the invitation in error.?!? Could this be right?!? You see, the Design Team are a phenomenal group of creators, chokka block full with many of my Stampin'Up! Idols. I am one of five Guest Designers, joined by the extremely talented Lou Kitzleman, Jo Stubbings, Rachael Lewsley and Denita Wright-Smee. This weeks challenge at Just Add Ink is "Just Choose Two". I chose Pets and Patterned Paper. Admittedly I am not a big user of DSP, and thought this was definitely going to be a challenge for me. I didn't struggle as much as I thought I would as soon as I decided to use dotti paper. In fact, I ended up creating two cards and couldn't decide which one to submit! I procrastinated for over a week, finally deciding on the Double Z Fold Card. The staircase card was inspired by Amanda Bates - The Craft Spa. Amanda's work is ah-mazing! Check out Amanda's card that provided my inspiration here. I have used images from the following stamp sets - Pretty Kitty, Bookcase Builder, Bella & Friends (birds), Glamper Greetings (string of party lights) and Happy Birthday Gorgeous (party hats). Both sentiments stamps are from the Birthday Delivery stamp set. All images were stamped in Archival Black and coloured using Stampin'Up! Water Colour Pencils. Some retired DSP was used for the wallpaper and to provide the view looking out the window. I also used a teeny bit for the backing of the picture framed Antlers. I had to put lights on the Antlers! All images were fussy cut except the window and shelf which were Die cut using the Hearth & Home Thinlits. Some fine tip glue was added to the party hats and parrot on the shelf, and a few rhinestones to the flowers in the pot and the all the Kitty's collars. This is the card completely open and flat And this is how it looks folded up ready to post. Check out the Just Add Ink challenge blog to see all the amazing cards the Design Team have created. Why not join us by playing along with the challenge, its super easy, helps gets the creative juices flowing and you may even meet some lovely crafters out there in the blogisphere - I have and continue to do so everyday! Until next time, stay crafty

Hi Everyone Thank you for stopping by. We are sharing 2 of the 3 projects we designed for our Card Making and Papercraft class last month which we ran in Basingstoke, Hampshire UK We used the Pretty Kitty CLEAR Mount Stamp Set with the Envelope Punch Board to create this cute notecard. The watercolored topper looks great against the bold Berry Burst Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper and it's kept closed with the punched daisy on the belly band Once opened, we found that it can stand by folding the side flaps backwards Other products used: Daisy Delight Photopolymer Stamp Set and Daisy Punch Bundle Classic Label Punch Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies Aqua Painters For the next card using Marbled CLEAR Mount Stamp Set, we kept the design very simple but showed how to add different colours on the background stamp using Stamping Sponges (Sponge Daubers works too) and Many Marvelous Markers Products used: Sentiment from Guy Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set White Stampin' Emboss Powder Heat Tool (UK) Our next class will be on 22nd August and then on 12th September 2017. Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are playing with the adorably cute Pretty Kitty My daughter loves all animals, but especially cats, so this set was a must have for me; here she is with our Ragdoll when he was a kitten The poor little guy had so many hugs and cuddles sometimes he just wanted his "alone" time to sleep, sometimes when we came home he would run off and hide, so it seemed fitting to make the below card I mask of the area where my main image would be placed and used the stamp-a- ma-jig to place the flowers that are poking out above and below the scalloped frame and the edge of the card. I used my markers to "roughly" colour the stamped images - I really like this effect, here is a close up I used Melon Mambo as a base and for the scalloped frame, and the Stitched Shape framelits are just perfect to finish of the feature image. I didn't stop there, I also stamped the inside of the card Check out all the great projects from the Design Team click here, we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at What Will You Stamp? why not play along with this week - We'd love to see what you create! Hello! And I earned a special mention for this card from the Global Design Proct #gdp045... Thanks guys! After a wonderful two weeks spent with my loved ones in South Africa, I am very happy to be home!! Still trying to get into things though... Lucky for me nothing inspires like a Global Design Project Challenge! This week (#GDP045) it was a colour challenge! I knew before hand that I wanted to use the Pretty Kitty stamp set (being a cat mom) and this made the challenge very difficult for me... To colour one of these pretty images using only three colours??!! I decided to keep it really simple (no difficult water colour techniques here!). I also wanted to keep it CUTE and GIRLY (being mom of a girl too!). I might just get into trouble... there was that time that Charlize changed my I phone wallpaper (a photo of Harry our tabby) to a photo of her.. Next time I will make kitten a little tabby cat! Pretty blossoms to make the White space more interesting! And a teeny, tiny butterfly wing coming off the page! My Product List! Notes I love using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on Shimmery White cardstock. It is very easy to pick up the ink with the Clear Wink of Stella Brush from the lid of my Classic Stampin' Pads (you can find another example HERE). I stamped part of the image (the little butterfly) on a piece of scrap Shimmer White cardstock, cut the little wing out and adhered it partially over my main image. To fill up the empty White space I used Delicate White Doilies and punched blossoms from the Tree Builder Punch. Doesn't this card make you feel happy! I really had fun creating it! Please leave your compliments (I mean comments)! at the bottom! I love hearing from you! Take care! Mel xx
This is a thank you for the kitty lover in your circle. You can also make this to donate to your local animal shelter, so it can be sent to a new animal owner. Thoughts? Stamps: Pretty Kitty Paper: Basic Gray A-2, 3 x 4 Basic White 3-1/4 x 2-1/2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside) Moonlight DSP 5-1/4 x 4 Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento Watercolor Pencils: Various Colors of Choice Technique: Watercolor Die Cutting Accessories: Layering Ovals Framelits Dies Blender Pen White Gel Pen Dimensionals Adhesive First, I stamped and colored my image, using various watercolor pencils. I then went over it with a blender pen to smooth out the color lines and make the colors a bit more vibrant. Next, I die cut the image, using the Layering Ovals Framelits dies. I chose the next larger die to die cut a frame for it in Basic Gray. I then adhered the image oval onto its Basic Gray matte and added a white dot to each scallop, using the White Gel Pen. Next, I stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the DSP panel and adhered it to the Basic Gray card-front. Lastly, I added the image oval with dimensionals to the top of the DSP panel and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card. Thank you so much for stopping by here. Hello, Crafters. Mint Macaroon is the colour I’m going to miss the most when the 2015 – 2017 InColours retire on 31.05.17. Fortunately, I love all the five new InColours, so that will soften the blow for me! When I first saw the new Lemon Lime Twist, I thought it was bright and gaudy, but ...
