Today I thought I would share a card I made based on my swaps for the Stampin' Up! convention in Amsterdam that I went to back in April. For my swap it was just a white card, but I decided to take that same card front and add it to a coloured card blank. Most of the stamping is "stamped off" or "second generation stamping", where you stamp onto a piece of scrap paper, then without re-inking stamp the image onto your card. This made all of the images much softer than if I had used the inks first time round. I think the effect of the softer paler images is quite pretty. The stamp sets I used are both retiring, so pop on over to my online store and get yours while you can! Stampin' Up! materials used: Stamp sets - Love and Affection, Endless Thanks Ink - Basic Black, Pool Party, Pear Pizazz, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride Card - Pool Party, Whisper White Other - Dazzling Diamonds glitter, fine tip glue pen, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Trimmer Love & Affection Photopolymer Stamp Set [141545] Endless Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set [138796] Pool Party A4 Card Stock [124391] Whisper White A4 Card Stock [106549] Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad [140931] Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad [126982] Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad [131180] Peekaboo Peach Classic Stampin' Pad [141398] Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin' Pad [141397] Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad [131172] Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter [133751] Fine-Tip Glue Pen [138309] Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] Stampin' Trimmer [129722]

Hello there, good morning and welcome to my blog today. I hope you enjoyed my last post sharing my latest Project Life page with you. Today's share is an upgrade of a card I shared on Saturday with you and the one I am sharing today is one my ladies made at Coffee and Card last Tuesday. I have used the gorgeous new Pool Party Satin ribbon which I think has to be my favourite from the new catalogue. Pool Party is of course one of my fave colours and this style of ribbon does tie a nice bow, and you know I love my bows! This card got a lot of attention and affection at a Stampin Up Party I ran last night for Valerie and it was a popular stamp set on people's order forms. See you tomorrow!
We are showcasing the beautiful Love and Affection stamp set and coordinating Floral Affection Embossing folders in today's Artisan design team blog hop. For my first project, I wanted work this gorgeous matching patterned paper (from the Affectionately Yours pack) into the mix. I sometimes find it tricky to really feature a pretty paper in a way that allows it to shine, but I'm so pleased with how this design turned out. The Bold Butterfly framelit is a lovely shape for revealing just enough of this beautiful pattern to not feel too busy. The embossing folder and white bakers twine added subtle interest to the white panel. I've heat embossed the sentiment in white on black card to help it stand out from the vibrant background. I'm in love with the very on-trend shiny copper tones in this Specialty paper! I wanted to carry some copper over into my second project today. To do this I chose to stamp some Love and Affection flowers in VersaMark and heat set with the brand new Copper Emboss Powder. The colour scheme of the patterned paper pack made the colour selection for my spray of flowers super easy. Rather than tuck a doily in behind them, as would normally be my go-to subtle layering technique, I decided to add some detail from this second Floral Affection folder instead. Thank you for stopping by today. I know you'll have fun following the hop and browsing all the beautiful creations the rest of the team have come up with! I designed this card for my downline gathering last night. I would have added more Copper Embellishments but they aren't available to order until June 1st. I decided it still needed something so pressed my Basic Pearls into the VersaMark pad, and then heat embossed with the NEW Copper embossing powder! The flowers are from the NEW Love & Affection stamp set, and the strip of metallic looking designer series paper is from the NEW Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper, both not available until June 1st. I am so excited that the pearls turned out so well! Woo Hoo!...

Hello there. Today I've been playing with the new Love and Affection product suite from the 2016 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. It comprises one of our speciality DSPs, as well as a coordinating stamp set and washi tape (which I used in the previous post). The specialty paper includes a sheet with copper foil accents, which is lovely! I copper embossed a few of the flowers from the Love and Affection stamp set and used them as additionally embellishments (hand cut but super easy with paper snips). There's lots of cute little branch stamps in the set too, so they...
I had a lot of fun playing with the pretty Love and Affection stamp set for this sweet project today. I've chosen to feature the brand new Flirty Flamingo tone for my main flowers, with a mix of old olive foliage and spray of little rich razzleberry and mint macaron blooms. I stamped the imagery on a piece of shimmery white cardstock. Before watercolouring the pink flowers, I stamped the rich razzleberry centres and set them with clear embossing powder so they wouldn't bleed purple into the soft pink petals. The layered stamping work is really the star of this design. I've gone with some simple touches to complete the card - a strip of coordinating Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape, a little bakers twine bow and a slim Mint Macaron border.. You might recognise the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment I've added to the mix from the new Confetti Celebration set. I liked how the strong upper case lettering of this sentiment worked with the cursive Love and Affection 'sending a smile your way' font. I hope you've enjoyed this card. Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to continue the hop by visiting fellow Aussie Artisan Jessica Williams. Her creations never disappoint! Hello there and welcome back to my blog today. Today I wanted to share the projects we made at training this week. I run regular monthly trainings for our team and it's a great way to get together, catch up on all the Stampin' Up! news and of course do some crafting. I'd been struggling with the Love and Affection set but after a quick browse through Pinterest I stumbled upon this amazing project by Helene den Breejen, you can find Helene's design HERE . Helene used the Mini Treatlits bag to create the pocket of the card but I choose to make my own from an A5 piece of card. I just love this colour combo of Pool Party, So Saffron, Pear Pizazz, Rose Red and Flirty Flamingo. It's just got such a summery feel to it, I really enjoyed making these projects. We also made a little tag to go with our fancy card. Here are all our makes together, I definitely think I will use this colour combo again. If you fancy the idea of being part of our Stampin Up family then we have an amazing offer on this month for those who purchase the Starter Kit and join Stampin' Up! Purchase your Starter Kit for £99, choose £130 worth of products AND THEN an extra 2 FREE stamp sets on top. This offer is only available until the end of June.
