Last weekend we celebrated a special '0' birthday with a lovely friend so a celebratory card was a must too. I'm still loving the double easel card so I made this very fluttery version. It may look familiar as I took my inspiration from this double easel card I'd made for my darling man's birthday. Here it is closed... and open... It's amazing how a change of paper & images changes the look of a project. For this one I used 3 different designs in the beautiful Botanical Butterfly paper pack. This is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration item choices you'll get with every $90 purchase during (ex shipping). This is my fave Sale-a-bration item so far & I think you'll love it too. Botanical Butterfly has a gorgeous collection collection of pastel botanical prints on one side & black & white prints on the other. Many of the butterflies can also be punched out with the punch in the fab Butterfly Gala bundle. Back to the card, the main base is basic black & the easel base is petal pink to coordinate with the paper. You can see the effect of the double easel in this pic. I fussy cut three butterflies - one large for the front and two small so I could pop them from the pretty print used for the full page. I used more than a Wink of Stella on all the butterflies (cut & in the paper). My Celebrate You dies got another work out for the sentiment. So you have these yet? If not, you need to add them to your shopping list as they look brilliant and are so useful for so many occasions. The glimmer amazing is slightly hard to see in the pics but very obvious in real life. Inside another well used fave sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday - and perfect for the birthday girl. You can see how the card all fits together in this pic of it laid flat - regular black base with portrait tent fold, with slightly smaller petal pink base attached to the front of the black, then the front piece folded in half. So that's my card. What do you think? Do you love the butterfly paper too. Have you tried making a double easel? Let me know in comments... & of course if you have any questions for me. Thanks for visiting today. Pop back soon for more ideas. Remember to place your $90 order to get your own pack of Botanical Butterfly paper free... or one of the other Sale-a-bration freebies.
