Welcome to Week 3 of the Heart of Christmas blog hops, in which a group of us (all Stampin' Up! demonstrators in Australia) share ideas for using Stampin' Up! products on your Christmas projects. The card I have made features the beautiful Christmas Classics bundle that is in the Mini Catalogue going live on 6th September. I have used Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Distressed Gold and Basic White to enhance the "classic" Christmas look! I started off by die-cutting the main piece from Basic White card. I used Stampin' Blends markers to colour the foliage and berries. The holly leaves are Dark Shaded Spruce, and the other leaves Light Shaded Spruce. The berries were coloured using Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends. After cutting a second piece from Cherry Cobbler card, I trimmed off all the foliage, and laid the sentiment "mat" part across the other die-cut. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on Basic White card, and adhered that on top. I die-cut some large holly leaves from Shaded Spruce card, and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, and added them to the main die-cut piece. There are a couple of Distressed Gold twiggy bits, that are actually the pieces from the centre of the two large gold leaves. A few berries were stamped (in Cherry Cobbler ink) and die cut, and added to the sentiment. Here's a closer look at a few details, including the embossed background, the gorgeous Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, Festive Pearls, and the large holly leaves: Next up on tonight's blog hop is Rosa Leyden. If you click on the image below, you'll be taken to her blog: If you come across any broken links, or would like to see a full list of the participants in this week's blog hop, head over to Sharon Davern's blog. Sharon does a fantastic job of co-ordinating our Christmas shares every week, right through until late November. Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products I used on my card. As the new goodies aren't available until 6th September (although you can buy them if you sign up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator before then!), I can't yet link to them in my online store. Today's card features Stampin' Up Joy Of Noel, Christmas Classic, Joy To You and Joy Of Christmas DSP. I created this stunning Double Easel card. Here's a video tutorial: I started with a Shaded Spruce card base folded in tent fashion. I scored a piece of Cherry Cobbler cut 4" x 9 3/4" at 2 1/4" and 4 1/2". I folded the Cherry Cobbler with a mountain then a valley. I adhered the red checked patterned paper from Stampin' Up Joy Of Christmas DSP to a Shaded Spruce mat before adhering the layers to Cherry Cobbler. I adhered the holly patterned paper to a Shaded Spruce mat before adhering the layers to the front of the Cherry Cobbler. I carefully adhered the Cherry Cobbler piece to the Shaded Spruce base. I stamped holly leaves from Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Stamp Set using Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Basic White card stock two times. I colored the images with Old Olive Stampin' Blends. I die cut the stamped images, a piece of Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Basic White cardstock with Stampin' up Christmas Classic Dies. I die cut a piece of Mossy Meadow with Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Stamp Set using Cherry Cobbler ink on the Basic White die cut. I adhered the large Shaded Spruce die cut to the card base with Stampin' Up Tear Tape. I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the pine bough to the card front with liquid adhesive. I adhered the holly stamped images to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I embellished the holly leaves with Stampin' Up Festive Pearls. The inside is a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Joy To You Stamp Set with Cherry Cobbler ink. I stamped pine boughs from Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Stamp Set with Shaded Spruce ink. I adhered the Basic White to the inside of the card base. Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing my card for the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team. Our theme this month is Christmas. I adore the Joy of Noel Bundle, it is such a pretty set and so versatile. I water-coloured the leafy image and layered it up on some die-cut white foliage and a panel embossed with the Distressed Tile. A white Baker's Twine bow, a trio of Iridescent Pearls and an embossed sentiment put the finishing touches to my card. Please check out my YouTube Video by clicking the image below to see how I have also created my card. If you would like to see what the rest of the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team have been creating, please pop over to Instagram here.
