Today's card features Stampin' Up Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. The color scheme is from the current Sunday Stampers Challenge. The card front is a panel of Bumblebee card stock with Stampin' Up Regal DSP adhered to it. I stamped a piece of Very Vanilla with a sentiment from Stampin' Up Pretty Pumpkin Stamp Set with Cajun Craze ink. I ran the Very Vanilla piece through my Stampin' Up Cut and Emboss Machine with Stampin' Up Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. I matted the embossed piece to a Bumblebee panel. I stamped the sunflower image from Stampin' Up Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set on a piece of Very Vanilla with Soft Suede ink. I colored the flowers with Stampin' Blends: Mango Melody, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze and Just Jade. I die cut the flowers with Stampin' Up Sunflower Dies. I die cut leaves with Just Jade. I die cut a piece of Stampin' Up Brushed Metallic with the die set. I layered the flowers and leaves with Stampin' Dimensionals and liquid adhesive. I adhered the card front to a Cajun Craze card base folded in tent fashion. I embellished the front with Stampin' Up Brushed Metallic Dots. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Sunny Sentiments Stamp Set with Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. I stamped the sunflower image with Soft Suede ink in the corner. I colored it with Stampin' Blends. We are in the final weeks of Sale-A-Bration Part II -2021. As an added incentive, I have offering 4 Christmas Cards kit FREE. I'm taking part in something Stampin' Up! is promoting by making and sending cards as a random act of kindness. They've dubbed it #sharesunshine, and the object is to brighten someone's day by sending a card or little gift. Everyone can use a little sunshine right about now, right? And what better way than to find some happy mail in the mailbox when you least expect it? Since I can't actually send sunshine, I can send the next best thing....sunflowers! This bright, cheerful card was made with some goodies from the Flowers For Every Season Suite coming in the new catalog. The Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set has coordinating Sunflowers Dies that make it simple to make a big impression. See the DSP peeking out from the die cut? That's one of the patterns in the absolutely gorgeous Flowers For Every Season 6" x 6" DSP. The Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon isn't part of the suite, but you can find it on page 161. I think the Bumblebee gingham was perfect for a sunny sunflower card! Sigh ... this last weekend was emotionally exhausting. With all of the protesting (which I support) behind the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, some people have decided it is ok to get violent and destructive (which I do NOT support). I realize that those participating in all the crazy and lawless activity are not affiliated with the actual peaceful protestors, but it is saddening to watch. I live just over one mile from where things got out of control in a downtown Salt Lake City protest. All things started out well. Then they took a turn. I was very proud and amazed at how well local law enforcement and National Guard members were able to diffuse the situation and disperse the crowds after HOURS of unrest. What is the answer? I can honestly say that I don't really know ... but I DO know that love does much more for better outcomes than hate. Which is why the sentiment I put on this card just resonated so strongly with me, especially right now. Spread love, my friends. Not EVERYone is as privileged as a lot of us are ... who have family and friends that express love to them on a daily basis. Smile more. Be kind. Be patient. Every little gesture can add up to a LOT of good. Not the absolute solution, but it's a good start. I love sunflowers. Sunflowers and daisies are my favorites. Like Meg Ryan says in "You've Got Mail" ... "Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?" Yep ... yep I do!! And I would include sunflowers in that as well. Stamps: Celebrate Sunflowers Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake Ink: Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody Accessories: Sunflowers Dies, Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (white ribbon), Metallic Pearls JUST KNOW THAT YOU ARE LOVED!!! Stay safe, stay healthy and STAY STRONG!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set to create my card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge this week.
This card was uniquely designed using Stampin Up products. It measures standard size of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. This card has a Thoughtful Journey theme based on the designer series paper used for this project. The paper really speaks for itself. There is a center element that is popped up and die cut using the Countryside Corners dies. The wheat stamped in Old Olive and Crushed Curry are from the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle. It’s finished with green and white twine. Finally there are copper and gold gems. This card is sure to put a smile on someone’s face. What a fun way to celebrate a nature themed birthday. Homemade cards add that personal touch. Sentiments and colors could be changed by request. This card is handcrafted, so there may be slight imperfections. However, that doesn’t make it any less. An envelope stamped with Old Olive wheat is included. Comes in a cellophane jacket.

The Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle is one of the most amazing floral stamp sets and die sets ever!!!! The versatility of the stamp set combined with the coordinating dies is just fabulous! See it in my online store HERE. I love this gold foil sunflower overlay!! For my card today, I decided to try stamping the large sunflower with Soft Suede ink onto Daffodil Delight cardstock, and then just lightly added some color with my Stampin' Blends. I colored the center of the sunflower on a separate image, cut it out and added it on top
Yvonne X
These are the cards I made on this week's Facebook Live video. You can watch the replay on YouTube or on Facebook. A warning - the FB version's first couple of minutes are full of me dealing
Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke Hello everyone Today's card is a fancy fold Theatre card! I have seen this style of card on pinterest and I just had to make one. This card is also one that I have made with my craft group on a Sunday evening on zoom, which is our new normal at the moment. For my cards I have used a new Incolour Misty Moonlight with the Flowers for every Season DSP. I have used the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set too. This is a beautiful stamp set with the main sunflower image and it also has the smaller flower too along with coordinating dies for you to cut your images out. I have tried to make this card as simply as possible and easy to follow along. The image above is of the card in it's closed position and then below open, the final image is how the card stands up. This would make a really stunning card for a special occasion! It is actually quite simple yet gives a real wow factor. To make this card you will need one sheet of A4 card. You will then need to cut this one piece into 4 pieces. The measurements are as follows and I show you how to do this in the video tutorial. 2 pieces, 4 1\8" x 5 3/4" 2 pieces, 4" x 5 3\4" These are the inside of the card and need to be scored the same on both pieces at 1 3/8" and 2 7\8" You will also need 2 strips of card that are 1\2" x 5 1\2" To decorate your card you need DSP in the following measurements 4" x 5 5\8" 2 5\8" x 3 3\4", two pieces For the inside of your card you can either use the piece you cut from the front or as I have use one of the small cards from the memories and more pack. To make the front panel of the card you will also need a rectangle die to cut out the frame but if you don't have one you can cut a rectangle of card and use it as a template to draw then cut out of the front using a craft knife, This will need to measure 4 1\2" x 2 1\2". To assemble your card click below to watch the tutorial Here are the supplies I used for this project Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle (English) [154065] £47.50 Misty Moonlight A4 Cardstock [153086] £8.25 Flowers For Every Season 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 Cm) Designer Series Paper [152486] £10.75 Watercolor Pencils [141709] £15.00 To buy your supplies with me click on the images above, if you have any questions or would like some more information on anything Stampin'Up! please drop me a message!
