I have been having so much fun playing with the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens and Aquapainters to color the lady images in the Beautiful You stamp set from Stampin' Up!. I recently shared this note card idea with Cindee and showed her how I colored in the lady's dress and cut the umbrella image out of printed paper to create the 'lady walking in the rain' cards below. Today I'm sharing a Video Tutorial with you to show you how easy it is to color in the stamped dress image and create the rain with the Gorgeous

I was instantly drawn to the gorgeous little creatures in the Love you Lots Set for two reasons. 1.They are super cute and 2. They are fabulous to add some colour to, one of my crafting passions. Yay! I've created 4 cards for you today with all the same design but just changing the little animals from the set. They are very 'clean' from they way that I normally create but I really love the clean lines and the less is more look. I stamped the images with Stazon and then using and aqua painted picked up the colour from the lid of the ink pad and then added some colour. Super cute! Right??!!! If you want to get your hands on some of these Host Sets you can either have a 'party' with me (Australian Residents Only) and have $250 + in sales to qualify or place an order for Stampin' Up! products $250 or more and you can get one of these sets without having a 'party'.You can email me to place and order or you can order straight from my online store HERE Please contact me for more information and I'd love to help you TODAY! Hello stamping friends! Happy Friday! It's new challenge day over at Just Add Ink and do we have a fun challenge for you - Just Add Ink #604 | Just Add a CASE of Yourself Challenge suggested by fellow JAI team member Jan. How fun!!! When I am stuck for new ideas I sometimes go back to my older card designs and CASE myself and that will usually get the creative ideas flowing. Do you do that too? I know I'm not the only one. With CASEing the idea is to use the original design but to change it up and 'make it your own'. This is my original card that I made back in January 2021. So not that long ago. I really loved the layering of the cardstock and the DSP along with the flowers in each corner. I thought this card design really lended itself so well to the Stampin' Up! Abigail Rose suite that I had just ordered and really wanted to use. And this is then my CASEd card. As you can see I've kept to the same basic design but I've changed it up a slightly. I really thought the floral image from the Cottage Rose stamp set was too large to add two of them to this card as like the original. I still tried to layer ribbon, twine and die cuts with this flower to make a floral 'spray' like my original. I've finished off the card with some heat embossed gold splatters, basic pearls and the Happy Birthday sentiment stamped in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I do hope that you are inspired by my original creation and my CASEd version here today. I can't wait to see your CASEd creations and how you changed up one of your original creations. The slightest change can make a card look completely different. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team on the JAI Blog. Go and check out to see their CASEd projects and then while you are there you can see how you can enter your project. Can't wait to see your creations. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Do you like mixing up a card design after you've made a card? I often like to use the same elements to create a different look. Let me show you what I mean. Remember this card I shared, using the Sale-a-bration Blossoming Basket stamp set. Well, after I made it with my SU team, I felt like playing around with the same pieces to create a couple of different looks - each with different levels of fussy cutting too. Some people love to fussy cut & some really loathe it so it's good to be able to have different options. No Fuss So I started my mix-up with a no fussy cutting version using the same card pieces. I embossed the pool party card with the Sale-a-bration Basket Weave dynamic embossing folder that's teamed with Blossoming Basket. Partially cutting the pretty Blossoming Basket image with the largest square die in the Stitched Shapes die set gives you a fast & gorgeous look with no fussy cutting. Yay! Again, this idea was inspired by these cards made by the fabulous Emma Godddard. I changed up the blossoms colours using calypso coral Stampin' Blends markers, plus the original old olive & crumb cake Blends. I backed the image with a square of pear pizzazz card & sweet doily. It looks so pretty sitting over the card edge. I couldn't resist adding a fussy cut butterfly too. Fussy Lavender This card fits the bill for those who love fussy cutting or lavender. Doesn't that basket of lavender look so beautiful? The brilliant idea to use the Sale-a-bration Lots of Lavender stamp set with Blossoming Basket also came from Emma Godddard's cards. I changed up the ribbon colours for this version, substituting lemon lime twist ombre ribbon & fresh fig ribbon. I love how fresh it looks. To make the lavender basket: - Stamp the whole Blossoming Basket image - no need to mask off the flowers. - Colour in the basket, then make a long horizontal slit just under the blossoms. - Stamp three lavender images & colour with rich razzleberry Stampin' Blends markers and fussy cut them out. - Slip the lavender into the slit, position them as you like and secure with adhesive - dimensionals. You may want to cut off some of the leaf sprigs so each lavender looks a little different. You can watch Emma's fb live video if you'd like to see this process visually. Thanks so much Emma for sharing this fabulous idea. So, which one's your favourite? Leave me a comment to let me know which one you'd like to make more & pin them for later inspiration too. You can see all my other Blossoming Basket projects here. Thanks for visiting today. I hope you come back again soon for more ideas. Inky wishes, Di Remember - the Blossoming Basket bundle & Lots of Lavender stamps are only available until 31 March when Sale-a-bration ends. Hello!! Well, we had quite a switch in the weather this week. We went from hot and sunny to warm and rainy! I'm not complaining though because the hot weather was starting to wear on me a bit and so I'm enjoying the cool down! Have a card to share that I made for several challenges: ColourQ, CAS(E) this Sketch and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (summer... butterflies are all over the place during the summer!). When I saw the new CTS layout my thoughts went to a couple of different sets, but in the end I settled on the new SU! set Kinda Eclectic. I stamped the sunburst image using Coastal Cabana and then over stamped it with the polka dot image using Early Espresso. The butterflies were added using Pumpkin Pie and Kiwi Kiss inks. The sentiment is from PTI's Wet Paint III set and stamped in black and Early Espresso inks. Finished things off with some clear sequins on the butterflies and the polka dots. Thanks for stopping by... Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white, Stamps: Stampin Up! and PTI; Inks: Stampin Up! and Memento; Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh clear 4 mm and 6 mm
