Stamping this fun card with the Jar of Love set and the Fruit Stand designer paper from Stampin' Up! is about as close to canning fruits or veggies that I will ever get! My grandma used to can EVERYTHING and I have fond memories of watching her.. but I guess I'm just not that domestic.. It's not on my bucket list.. but I LOVE stamping with this fun stamp set! The fun magic about this card is the window sheet die cut jars that I placed on top of the 'fruit' jars!! It really makes them seem
I had a lovely crafty session with a couple of stamping friends recently and had the opportunity to play with the Jar of Love bundle. These sessions can turn out to be expensive! I hadn’t paid any attention to this set at all but inevitably I loved it. What I particularly liked was that SU have thought of everything. I cut out the jar, but was wishing I could make it transparent... then discovered that there’s a die to cut out the middle of the jar, too, so I could! I used this colour combination, based on the ink pads that just happened to be on the table, and when I returned home, I realised it just happened to be a Mix It Up Monday combo, using a colour combination from my latest set of In Color charts! Well, it is if you discount the Soft Sky, which I am going to do as it’s very subtle behind the vellum. Hi Stampin' Friends!! Today is the final card from my Jar of Love online card class. Stamps: Jar of Love Paper: Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Fruit Stand DSP, Vellum Ink: Basic Gray, Flirty Flamingo Accessories: Everyday Jars Framelits, Triple Banner Punch, Festive EF, Flirty Flamingo ribbon, straw Kit Includes: 1 - Whisper White card base 1 - Flirty Flamingo embossed card front 1 - Fruit Stand DSP strip 1 - Fruit Stand DSP lemon piece 1 - Fruit Stand DSP lemon strip 1 - Vellum piece 1 - Flirty Flamingo ribbon 1 - straw Instructions: Attach the Flirty Flamingo card front to the Whisper White card base. Attach the Fruit Stand DSP strip to the left side of the card front. Stamp the large jar onto the vellum piece using Archival Basic Gray ink. Be careful to let the ink completely dry before cutting it out so that it does not smear. Using your Everyday Jars Framelits, cut out a large jar from the lemon DSP. Trim the top off so it is lower than the lid area. Attach the vellum jar onto the lemon jar using Glue Dots around the bottom and edges only. Leave the top open. Wrap your straw with the Flirty Flamingo ribbon. Double sided tape or lots of Glue Dots works best. Place straw inside jar. I did not attach my straw. Attach lemonade jar to card front using Dimensionals. The straw is kind of thick so I layered two Dimensionals on top of each other under my jar to give some extra height. Cut out a lemon piece from the Fruit Stand lemon strip to use on the side of your jar. If you have a Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, add a little sparkle to your lemon wedge. Cut a slit in your lemon and attach it to the side of the jar with a Glue Dot. Stamp your sentiment on a tag using Flirty Flamingo or any coordinating color ink. GLue to the front of the card I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it was just so cute!! I love how it turned out. I hope you had fun making your cards!! In the next couple of days I will be sharing more sneak peeks from the Craft Project Central blog. Come back and visit again soon! Happy Stamping! Krystal!!

Hallo allemaal! Hugs, Laura
This quick and easy card using the SAB Botanical Butterfly DSP was a project at my recent Stamp-a-Stack Class. I love the monochrome effect with the splash of colour from the punched butterfly. A touch of shimmer comes from the Black/Silver Striped Metallic Ribbon from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. The sentiment is from the Jar of […]

Since it is summer in Australia at the moment, I though it would be great to share a card that represents the ocean and the beach. I used some clear glass beads and fussy cut some starfish to shake around in the card. I am very happy with the end result and hope my viewers like it too.
Thank you for all the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers! I feel blessed to have such wonderful friends, family, and co workers who have lifted my spirits with food, flowers, gifts, and cards. I th…
The Stamp Review Crew is featuring Jar of Love today! The possibilities with that set and its matching framelits are just endless. I kept it simple with a fresh bouquet of summer flowers. The heat wave continues here in the Northeast in spite of some wild thunderstorms. We spent the day on the porch at camp yesterday just watching the thunderstorms roll in across the lake. It was crazy! Just a couple of photos taken by neighbors........ This was at a nearby marina.....the funnel formed but luckily went back up into the clouds quickly! (photo C. Strauser) One of those wild looking shelf clouds rolling in..... (photo S. Ogden) Hoping your day has been calmer and you are enjoying the hop. You are on track if you just came from my good friend Dawn Tidd 's blog. Her sweet tag is delightful! Next up is a visit to Valerie Moody's site. She always has wonderful projects to share! I was inspired by the fun sketch this week at Cas(e) this Sketch!
Good Morning folks! I am a little later with my blog this morning as I am having an easier morning after running many many events over the past 10 days including my weekend retreat which finished yesterday. Over the next few days I will be sharing our makes from the Saturday using the Jar of Love bundle which I included in the kits for my attendees. This was a card CASED from one by our lovely team member Chris who made me a gorgeous card for my birthday using this design but with the Baby Bear stamps so I tweaked it for my Jar of Love stamps. Once we got the construction sorted my ladies loved this card and I hope they will make more with their goodies they got to take home. The great thing about this style card is that it also folds flat for postage! Hope you like todays make and I will see you soon!
Happy Birthday! This special Blog post has been scheduled just for today.... You see, I sent one of these cute cards to a sweet friend for their BIRTHDAY!!!! AND today is that day!! This person is also into card creating, like myself. But boy is this person talented! Soooooo, I wanted something I wouldn't be ashamed to send.... Something original, funny, cute and artistic! BIG ask! lol I had been seeing so many gorgeous 'Jar of Love' cards...I have even made a couple myself (yet to be blogged) But they all seemed very similar....flowers in a jar, hearts in the jar, even a fish in a jar Another creator Stephanie Fischer had just made a card called 'Ahoy There' (no jars anywhere) BUT it gave me an idea :) I thought, 'Lets tip the jar over a little so it's almost spilling it's contents but not quite! And have fishies inside, Jumping OUT!' I think to myself....WOW!, yes that sounds original & allowed myself a little WHOOP of joy. AND got to creating... Here is it..... Happy Birthday ! #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards The little one on the right is my first effort. Then came version 2 .... not alot different but made a little larger, just so I could add some little extra detail & not overwhelm the card. You are probably wondering what I did for the inside??? Can you see inside a little :) Ok I will stop teasing! hahahaa Here is an open pic of the card. I couldn't let the poor little fishies jump, not without having somewhere safe for them to land! LOL #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards I do hope she liked it... As I scheduled this post on Sunday (19/6) and haven't as yet posted the card to her!!! Gosh I am excited! hehehe Anywho... How I made my 'Jar of Love' cards: I used Peek-a-boo Peach A4 card stock & in colour backgrounds DSP. Thick Whisper White was used as my card base and for the fronts. I used the 'Jar of Love' stamp set for the jars, stamped onto an acetate window sheet in Stazon Jet Black. The sentiment is a mixture of two from the same Jar of Love set and has been stapled together then attached using dimensionals. I cut both jar outlines using Everyday Jars Framelits. I coloured using my aqua painters and my Stampin' Write marker Island Indigo scribbled onto a stampin' block...I mixed the blue at times with Craft Stampin Ink whisper White For the inside I stamped the small jar in Stazon jet black as I didn't want it to bleed or run when painting my flowing water. I stamped the fish in Peek-a-boo Peach and colored very carefully around it. The flowers have been stamped in Peeka-boo-Peach while the leaves were stamped with Emerald Envy. I added the smaller Rhinestones to the smaller flowers on one card. I used the foam adhesive strips to frame up the fish jar (the one sent for the birthday) as it is a shaker card. I used it to raise the front on the smaller card. I used Stampin' Dimensionals under some flowers, to add more depth. #Jaroflove #Happybirthday #frommetoyou #sentwithlove #KOCreationscards If you would like to purchase any of these items please use the 'Carousel' below

Well, tomorrow is Mother's Day and yesterday I spent some quality time with my daughter's two youngest children, Jaden and Rorey! As 9 and 10 year olds go these days, they are the most fun loving, caring, beautiful children on this planet, states their Grandmother! As such, I was thinking how much I appreciate my daughter for raising my grandchildren to be the way they are. So, because making a card shows how much you care or love someone, I made her a card from me for Mother's Day! Her favorite color is Bermuda Bay, I used that for the card base and the small flowers and hearts. Daffodil Delight was used for the main part of the large flower (it's a two step stamp) and for the center I used Crushed Curry. I used the 'Jar of Love' stamp set, which, by the way, will continue to be in the 2017-2018 Stampin Up catalog, yipee! It's a beautiful set with 37 stamps in total! Along with the stamps, there are framelits. The set of 'Everyday Jar of Love' framelits contains 17 dies. Enormous value for your dollar I would say! I used both on this card. One of the dies is the small strip of hearts at the bottom of the white mat, first I used the die to cut out the hearts on the white mat, then I repeated the cut on some Bermuda Bay glitter paper (which sadly has retired). I then glued those tiny blue hearts into the spaces left in the white mat! I embossed the rim of the jar using copper embossing powder, a new item in the catalog this year, and then popped it up on the jar using dimensionals. All the stamped images and die cuts are from the Jar of Love sets with the exception of the sentiment. I wanted to hang a label from the jar so I used Teeny Tiny Wishes as that stamp set is just like it states "Teeny Tiny" and this worked really well on the jar. I put dimensionals onto the jar and placed it on half of a white doily. To finish off, I die cut the label with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and tied it to the jar with Bermuda Bay bakers twine. I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I will celebrate Mother's Day with my daughter, her husband and my grandchildren! If you would like a 2017-2018 catalog, please email with your name and address and I will gladly send one out to you. If you have shopped with me in the past 6 months, you will automatically receive one. Similarly, if you would like to purchase any of the items listed here, please do not hesitate to either contact me by email or shop online from my store, both of which are listed at the top right of this blog. I wish all of you out there in blogland a very happy Mother's Day!
Good Day Crafty Friends, I am back again with my favourite stamp set - Tropical Chic. I know I am bombarding you with posts at the minute, but its the first chance I have had to make it back into my crafty space after a week hiatus. Apologies, I am jamming them in while the visiting Mother In Law is busy and out of the house for the day. I have used the cross stitch die from the Stitched All Around bundle to create the stitched background onto whisper white card. Before adhering to the card base I slipped in a panel of Lemon Lime Twist so this would show through the stitching lines. The images have been stamped in bright summery colours and adhered with Tombow and mini dimensionals. The second card is another one of my "doodling stamping techniques". This time instead of adding drawn lines to my stamped images (like the leaves), I have added lots of dots to the Frangipani flowers. It does alter the appearance quite dramatically but I really like it. It looks great teamed with the lines drawn on the leaves. I have also added stamped and fussy cut images from Jar of Love and Cake Soiree as I really like these two leafy images together. Hope I have inspired you to get into your crafty space and have a play. Perhaps you will try adding dots to some of the images of stamp in your current collection. Until next time, stay crafty

Last week saw a series of classes using the Jar of Love Stamp Set and Framelit bundle and being a lover of the Canary Framelits of old, I couldn't resist this set with the beautiful flowers. A jar full of sweets, this cute little treat holder was super easy to make and so adaptable for other occasions. These were the last of the Lemon sweets that we picked up whilst in Italy on the Incentive Trip. This Thank you card was pretty much a single layer card, if it wasn't for the raised banner. A super quick card that had you feeling like a Post Office Counter Clerk. Such a cute little spray of flowers that would look lovely if fresh and on my desk. Oh we did have fun creating these projects, covering two and three step stamping and 1st and 2nd Generation stamping …. What a lovely bundle this is and a set that I'd urge you to take a look at.
