Hi everyone! Today I am playing around with the Stylish Sketches stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog! Sale-a-Bration runs July and August and there are many items to choose from, FREE when you spend $50 or some when you spend $100. The Stylish Sketches stamp set is one of the free with a $50 purchase items. I love the sketchy look to the images on this set. I love to draw and these stamps made me think of an art journal. I thought I would go with that feel by adding the fringed edges to look, as if they were torn from the pages of my journal. The Die I used to achieve this is from the Happiness Abounds bundle. In keeping with my Art Journal feel, I used my Watercolor Pencils to color the images. Check out my How to Video here: The fox is my favorite as we have one that roams through our yard a couple times a week. I paired the cards with the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper. This paper is also FREE with a $50 purchase. Here's a picture of our neighborhood fox going down the driveway. I think these would make a nice note card set. Shop with me! I would love to be your demonstrator. I always send a hand stamped thank you card and sometimes more with a larger order, and I share my Stampin' Rewards with you through my Frequent Buyer Rewards! My card for this week’s sketch challenge is so fun with the cute kids from the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper. The banners are the “b” side of the paper and I fussy cut the two little kids from the paper.

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came! We have a color challenge today and here is what I created for our hop... I used Basic Beige, Petal Pink, Pecan Pie and Pool Party for my colors. I'm entering my card in Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge where I used to be on the Design Team. I don't miss working with digitals, but I do miss the teams! I also have nothing from Beccy's Place so it's worth a shot at the prize! Y'all go give Pammie some support, please! Measurements and basic instructions: Base 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 4 1/4" and 5 1/2". Place card base in the trimmer so that the 4 1/4" section is on the right side of the 11" edge. Score diagonally from the bottom of the 4 1/4" score line to the upper right corner of the 11" edge. Fold and burnish. Adhere the portion between the 4 1/4" and 5 1/2" score lines together to create the book binding. The Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Design Team are about to show you our 'Cute Critters' creations. Do you have a favourite stamp set, Bundle or Suite with 'Cute Critters'? If you do, then you should join us and create a project, and add it to our gallery here. So, there are a couple of stamp sets I just love with some 'Cute Critters', and I may have made a few items to inspire you.... Get ready for some 'Cute Critters' cuteness! Straight up is a card using the 'Snail Mail Suite'. I stamped the heart image all over the postage stamp die. And that sweet snail - I found a coordinating die that die cuts him from the Designer Series Paper! Yep, only found out after I fussy cut a snail for my 3D creation below (palm to forehead). Adding a 'hello' sentiment stamped straight onto the Designer Series Paper, and a touch of 'Whisper White Twine' and a bow. Introducing my fussy cut snail! This is totally fine if you don't have the coordinating dies, however, the ease of die cutting is so good! The how to make this box, thanks to pootles.co.uk And to make the most of cutting the divine Designer Series Paper, I have made a gift tag too. Measuring 5cm x 10.5cm prior to punching with the 'Delightful Tag Topper Punch'. And how cute are the Kangaroos from the 'Kangaroo and Company Bundle'? A sweet little love note popping from the pouch. A cute Valentine's Day or Anniversary card for someone special. And a matchy matchy gift box! Envelope Die from the 'Snail Mail Suite'. A perfect fit for the 'Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack'! A really cute card and gift box duo, mixing the Snails and Kangaroos beautifully. Thankyou for making it this far... and I hope to have inspired you with my 'Cute Critters'? What 'Cute Critters' are you wanting to play with? Don't forget to add them to our gallery. See you next time. Keep safe & well. D x Below are all the products used for my Inpsire.Create.Stamping Challenges 'Cute Critters' creations. Hello there stamping friends! Welcome and thanks for joining me on my blog today. Today I'm participating in a blog hop for CASE-ing the Catty, to kick off the new challenge for the week. To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit. And this week we are CASE-ing from the new Mix and Match Section in the Stampin' Up! 2024 - 2025 Annual Catalogue. Found on Pgs. 18 - 21. The Mix & Match Envelopes & Ephemera give you a quick and easy option for crafting that gives you a personalised creative experience as opposed to a kit where you follow step-by-step instructions that guide you though the crafting process. Today I've used the Basic Gray card in the middle above as the basis for my CASE-d card but used the Country Woods Suite for my card as opposed to using the Mix & Match Envelopes & Ephemera. I really loved the layout of the card and CASE-d that for my card, keeping the bones of the design. I've started with a Basic White card base and layered Basic White on that embossed with the beautiful Eyelet 3D Embossing folder. I've turned my piece of cardstock over so the embossing looks indented into the cardstock. I only did this because I added some blending of ink on the other side and did't like it but didn't want to waste the cardstock so I turned it over. Waste not want not right? Ha! Looks good either which way you have the embossing. I've kept the banner piece like the original but this is where things are changed up. I've layered a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies under the banner and over top added some stips of Country Lace DSP and the leaves and flowers from the Country Flowers Bundle. I've used Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers and also added some smaller flowers from the Country Birdhouse stamp set to the floral cluster. Stampin' Blends Used Flowers - Light Peach Pie, Light and Dark Petal Pink, Light Summer Splash, Light and Dark Pool Party, Light and Dark Boho Blue, Light Balmy Blue Leaves - Light and Dark Gray Granite I've finished the card off with some Mossy Meadow leaves, Linen Thread, some Basic Gray Pearls, and the Happy Birthday Sentiment. I really love how you can use a card as a basis for your card and it ends up with a completely different look. The beauty of CASE-ing really! There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop to get inspiration from the CTC team. Next up on the hop is fabulous Julia Quinn her Mix & Match CASE. Keep hopping around to see all of the design team’s creations. We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing a project from the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and join in this weeks challenge. You don't need to have a blog to join in! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Live in Australia?
