Last year I was searching the Web for more Punch Art ideas and I came across this wonderful lady on a chair... It has been waiting for me to recreate it for AGES... What better time to bring out this creation than at KENG Card class?...The ladies LOVED it.. What a fantastic use for the Butterfly punch... It makes for such a sexy little body... I wanted to make it more dressy... So when i went home I used a fin tip glue pen to draw swirls and lines to sprinkle fine glitter on... Then I added some Bling with little diamonties and a lovely little matching hand bag... Michel was so inspired that she went home and created this lovely card..... She didn't have the punches.. but nothing will stop you if you are feeling inspired!!! Happy Crafting!!!!
I have all of my Punch Art Kits available for sale individually to see the full range CLICK HERE Many of you know that I love my punch art, hence the kits that are available on the side bar. I decided yesterday to have a look around and see what other punch arts are available, there is some AMAZING stuff out there. I only took on what I thought I could handle. lol. These are some of the ones that I got to play with, I had to change a few things as the camel I found didn't have humps, it had a saddle, I thought its just not a camel without the humps! and Lightning McQueens eyes they used a butterfly punch and believe it or not, I don't own one.......yet. lol but I made do with some 1" Circles. I wanted to have a polar bear without glasses, and Yogi bear was a challenge that was for sure! Some of the punches they have in the states we don't have here maybe that will change in September when the new catalogue is released. But check this lady's work out - she truely is so talented - Click Here. Let me know what your favorite is, who knows there may be kit no 5 coming soon!!! I almost forgot this little one! The little hen! Thanks for dropping in! Kylie xoxo

Good Morning Everyone! Today's Tuesday Tip shows you how to stretch your Big Shot Dies further. A perfect example is the Adirondack Chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. Although it's fantastic as is, you can create additional objects with just a few snips and cuts. The top of the chair forms a fence in two different sizes and the bottom becomes a table and a basket. By thinking outside of the box, your creativity is unlimited! Happy Stamping!
Playing with more stuff! I saw a sample on a demonstrator-only Facebook page, and had to try it for my grandsons. What do you think of this: I got this adorable new stamp set, Seaside Shore, and thought it would be fun to make a card for Ethan and Jacob. So I started with the inside--if this wasn't going to work I wasn't going to spend time creating the outside of the card...but it DID work, and it came out so cute. So here is the card from the front. I stamped the fish, masked them with a post-it note (stamped the fish and cut out to create the mask) and then stamped over them with the seaweed. I also added the bubbles. Then I colored them to make them look "tropical", and I added Wink of Stella to each fish (sorry you can't see how shiny they are). Then to the inside: I created a "pop up" by folding my cardstock in half and making a slit about 1-3/4" across the fold. Then I scored from each end of the slit to the center of the fold--this allowed me to pop out the "mouth" of my fish. I covered him in Peekaboo Peach Designer Series Paper; his tail is cut from a retired flower punch (but could easily be from a heart punch) and his fins are the retired Scallop Circle punch. On the back of the card, across the "mouth" I added a stamped banner, glued to either side of his mouth. Seaweed was added along the bottom of the "ocean" and I stamped and cut some little shells for the ocean floor. This piece was mounted to little scalloped strips of Peekaboo Peach, and then adhered to the inside of my card. But I had to have a treat to go with my cute card... The new Clear Tiny Treat Boxes were perfect! They are 2" cubes, clear, and such fun to play with. I cut 1-15/16" x 8-1/2" strips of the Peekaboo Peach DSP and scored them at just under the 2" mark every 2"; this allowed me to insert the paper INSIDE the treat box. I wrapped them with ribbon and added little tags. These were cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits and decorated with Swirly Scribbles "seaweed" and cut out fish. And what was inside? Well fish and and worms, of course: I found Swedish Fish and Gummy Worms--what could be more perfect? I loved putting this set together, and expect my grandsons will enjoy it all when it arrives this week. What do you think? All items can be purchased here.

Jo's Stamping Spot - Just Add Ink Challenge #578 - Sketch challenge using Hand-Penned Petals by Stampin' Up! Joanne Stubbings, Campbelltown, NSW,
Wow - this one was easy! It just fell together so quickly. Tulips cased from Julia Bettencourt here. If the cute little punched birds you've seen haven't convinced you, maybe these tulips will. The new Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch is awesome! I knew I'd love it, but I never thought it would be this versatile! Two or three of the punched bird wings form perfect tulips! I sponged the edge of each petal/wing with coordinating ink to add shading...

It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with: These colours are right up my alley! I decided to use the Basket of Blooms stamp set and matching Small Bloom punch for my card. I coloured the images with my Blends. That gorgeous paper in the background is from the Magic in this Night DSP pack (in the Mini Catalogue). The sentiment is from the Little Treats stamp set and I also added some ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Combo Pack and a couple of Rhinestones. I hope you like my card! Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Don't forget you can play along over on the facebook page Email me to place your order, or click HERE to Shop Now
One of my favorite punches is the Owl Builder. It's such a versatile punch that can be used for many things. Check out this photo of samples that I got from Pinterest - all were created using the Owl Builder punch. I've even seen it used to create minions, goblins & witches, snowman, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. The possibilities are endless. The card I am sharing is a Congratulations card which is timely because of graduation. I used all retiring In Colors ink pads and card stocks. I CASED this card from a swap I received from a fellow demo, Kathy Maurer. Except hers was a Fancy Fold style card. This card would be awesome to convert into a Gift Card holder, too. Well, that's all I have for today. Noooo, I can't believe it's time to return to the office. I need a couple more days to chill. I am so going to miss my afternoon naps. Where is that crying emoji when you really need it? Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week, everyone! Below is the list of products used to create this card.
