Hello, and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with a talented group of Stamping with Friends demonstrators. We're highlighting current bundles, which is perfect timing since all bundles are an additional 10% off the month of June. The bundle I'm highlighting is the Flower Cart Bundle. I love this bundle and the flower card is so cute! There are so many ways this cart could be made. Below are several pictures of the card, but since there are so many parts to the flower cart, I have provided a free tutorial and a video for you to help you see how to construct this card. In this picture you can see that I embossed the Basic White piece and the Zinnia Designer Series Paper with the Distressed Brick Embossing Folder. Check out the flower card! So cute! The sentiment is also from the Flowers Cart stamp set. It is stamped in the same ink as the card stock I used, Poppy Parade. The Basic White pieces were cut with dies from Perennial Postage. Happy Birthday Kelly!!!! I hope you are having an amazing day! I'm here today with many other Stamping Friends to celebrate Kelly Kent's birthday and I can' wait to see what everyone else has created to share with us today. I'm a regular visitor to Kelly's blog, and adore her creations. I was blown away when she contacted me on messenger last November after I presented at OnStage in Melbourne, and we had a lovely chat - I love that Stampin' Up! brings people from all over Australia and the world together. With that in mind, here's my creation in honour of Kelly, I so hope to catch up with you face to face at the next Stampin' Up! event. I love the cute critters in the We Must Celebrate set, I coloured with Stampin Blends and cut out the images to create my furry friends scene. I stamped the foliage in the background and divided up the 4 critters so I could layer them using dimensionals, here's a different view of the layers. I stamped Hardwood on the card base, sponging a little extra Crumb Cake for added depth and added the scalloped layer using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing I have chosen a fellow DO Stamper STARS demonstrator, Karla Larson, who created this beautiful card for our Springe Baker's Dozen Challenge. I do not have the die cut with the trees she used, so I replaced it with trees from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and Tree Punch. I also added the flying birds stamp from the On The Horizon stamp set. I do prefer the die cut trees in the original card, but am pleased with my modification using clear embossing and the pine tree punch on the trees in my card. Welcome to the Summer Themed Blog Hop with Stampin' Friends! This month we will showcase projects with a summery theme, which could mean different things to different people. You will see links for the rest of the hoppers below my post. When I think of summer, I think of tropical foliage, flowers and lots of green. For my project, I have used a couple of new stamp & die bundles from Stampin' Up! called Tropical Chic and Stitched All Around. I must admit, I am really "stamp challenged" by two things: using up the lovely Designer Series Paper that I had to have and 3-D projects. Several days ago, I saw a post by a wonderfully talented stamper named Kerstin Kreis. She had made an explosion type card (mini-album?) that I fell in love with. Click HERE to see her project. I was instantly inspired to try to create one of these little card/mini-albums myself. I CASED her inside quite a bit, but changed up the front. I used the new Granny Apple Green Woven Ribbon for the tie that closes the project, which measures 5in x 5in. The photo below shows how it looks when first opened. And with the top and bottom flaps opened: The back cover: Card detail: Doesn't that Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon make you swoon? I know I am going to be using it on all kinds of projects. And what about the black die cut pieces I have used to layer under the sentiments on both projects? Those are from the Stitch All Around Bundle and I know I'm going to get a ton of use out of those. Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with a talented group of demonstrators from around the world. Our challenge today it to select any vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line in the tic tac toe board below. I'm going with the middle vertical line and using Wild Wheat and gold as my yellow and a new-to-me fun fold. I have a free tutorial download for you below and also a video on my YouTube Channel showing the construction of this card from start to finish. Here is the front of my card. Here is a top view of the fold. The base is 11" x 4 1/4" and is scored at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", and 5 1/2". This view is the card folded up to go into the envelope. The front center designer piece of paper (3 1/4" x 4") is from the Most Adored specialty Designer Series Paper and is backed with a 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Wild Wheat. The paper on the side sections is from Nature's Sweetness Designer Series Specialty pack. (4" x 1 1/8") The gold foil was cut and embossed with the awesome Thoughtful Moments 3D Embossing Folder that cuts and embosses all at the same time. The gold flowers were cut with a die from Lifetime of Love. I stamped this sentiment on the inside in Wild Wheat, but this card would also be a great anniversary or wedding card. I used the Stampin’ Up! Fields In Bloom stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Happy Blog Hop Day! Each month my friends from around the world and I bring you projects around a common theme, using only current Stampin' Up! products. We hope our projects inspire you! This month our theme is "In Colour Inspiration". THAT gives us lots of wiggle room for sure! I could have shared DOZENS of projects using the NEW In Colours, not to mention the OLD In Colours! ... but I had to pick one. This was the winner ... Just LOOK at all the delicious layers and dimensions on this card! I love ALL the new 2021-2022 In Colours but settled on the gorgeous Fresh Freesia. Purple is my favourite colour. Combined with Blackberry Bliss this colour really pops, don't you think? I let the In Colour Designer Series 6" x 6" paper do "all the talking" on this one. When you have pretty paper you don't NEED much else! The Layering Circle dies created the sentiment focal point, using the Biggest Wish Stamp set. The Designer Paper Dimensions are: 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" 2" x 4" and 1" x 4" The mat layers are just 1/4" larger ... so the Blackberry Bliss mats measure: 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" 2 1/4" x 4 1/2" and 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" So easy! I LOVE this layout. It's SO versatile! I CASEd it from my downline, Sharon Clark, when she sent me this swap: Switch out the papers and the sentiment and the options are endless! Here is my "In Colour Inspiration" card again .. Give this layout ... and the In Colour papers ... a go! I'd love to see what you come up with!
