Each linen stained glass window is a unique piece made to measure from linen curtains from scraps gleaned from a factory 40km from my Atelier-Maison. The vegetable dye colors are made by Valérie Métras who created her garden of colored plants in Essertines en Donzy in 2001. This work is inspired by the jokagbo technique (pojagi/bojagi) I make your custom panel, do not hesitate to contact me to develop what you need. Several colored combinations are possible.

Stained glass window silicone mould. To create the stained glass effect, the first pour will be the window seals (black/silver etc), once that layer has cured, fill the rest of the mould with clear resin. Once that layer has cured, de-mould and flip over, now you can fill each window section with the colour of your choice, use transparent colours for the best effect. (I don’t advise alcohol inks as they fade quickly in sunlight) Measures approx. 14cm x 10cm x 9mm deep Colour of moulds will vary.

California Poppies with Garden Friends Portrait -24" x 33" Stained Glass Panel This listing is a new Poppy Flower with Garden Friends design. The design includes a yellow butterfly and two Ladybugs. The border is made from a muted green streaky glass. The panel measures 24" x 33" and weighs 10 pounds. It has a zinc frame around it that is 3/8" visually wide x 1/4" deep. The clear textured background glass is called Seville and distorts the view. I use the same method of construction in all of my panels and reinforce them on the back with steel wire embedded in some of the lead lines. The hooks on the larger panels like this one are securely attached to the back of the panel with extensions aligning on the back of the frame. I will use heavier steel wire and thread it through the small hollow space in the frame from the top of one corner down, across the bottom, and back up to extend from the other top corner. Then I will securely attached it to the back of the frame. This distributes the weight of the panel evenly and doesn't stress the top corners. It will have a black patina on the lead and frame so as to bring out the striking colors of the glass. The panel will be signed and dated by me. Stained glass panels can last years and years with good care. Cleaning them from time to time with mild soap and water, and polishing them with a soft rag and a toothbrush to get into the hard to reach spots works well. I package all of my panels in plenty of honeycomb cardboard, and then a double layered cardboard box so that it arrives safely at your home. Shipping insurance is included in the shipping costs.
