Wow! It's been a crazy 2 weeks! My students love the Categories and Vocalic /r/ Bingo so I decided to create a Wh- Questions Bingo. I am constantly looking for materials with wh- questions. The students had so much fun playing. The Wh- Questions Bingo allowed me to acquire a lot of data too! This download includes 4 game boards and 3 pages of bingo chips. Each bingo board has twenty-four wh- questions. Step 1: Print and laminate Bingo Cards and Bingo Chips. Step 2: Print an extra bingo card. Laminate and cut out each wh- question from this card. Step 3: Put the cut out wh- questions in a ziplock bag. Step 3: Cut out each Bingo Chips. Step 4: Start by giving each student a Bingo Card and 10 Bingo Chips. Step 5: Pull the first wh- question out of the ziplock bag Step 6: Have each student give you 1 answer. Step 7: The 1st student to get 5 in a row WINS! Wh- Questions Bingo is available on my TPT page! Click Here! I would love to hear what you think! What other Bingo boards would you like me to create....more arctic?!? Hope you have fun playing BINGO with your kiddies! : )
A prompt in intervention assists or encourages a learner before or during a learning task to acquire a skill. Prompts are used by a learner's intervention team including but not limited to parents, therapists (e.g., speech, OT, EI, PT, ABA, etc.), child care providers, and family to help the learner acquire target skills (Neitzel & Wolery, 2009). Different types of prompts are used depending on the learner style and level of independence. Visual Prompts: visual prompts includes videos, photogra

I can’t believe the school season is almost here already, and has probably already started for some of you! To celebrate new classes, students, and goals I thought I’d share my “Articulation Goal Tracker” form with all of you.
Do you ever have a time where you find an old activity you forgot about?? I found one this week that I love...and it is available for free here at abcteach.com. They are rebus stories that have pictures incorporated into the stories. My early readers love these, because they feel like they are actually reading! The picture supports not only help them understand, but also encourage them to be independent readers. These particular stories are also great, because they have easy worksheets that correspond to the story. The kids practice answering yes/no questions, matching words to pictures, filling in the blanks of sentences, etc. Below, is a sample worksheet that goes with the story, "I Like Summer." There are 10 different stories available for free at abcteach.com, so definitely check them out! These have been great to photocopy and use with my kiddos as we wind down the last month of school...a nice change in pace! Have you stumbled across any old activities or ideas lately worth sharing?

This worksheet addresses the basic language concept of "not." One of my kids can identify what doesn't belong from a field of 3-4, but it's harder to decide what is "not" in a category when there are only two choices. What's even harder will be alternating between asking what IS and what IS NOT in a given category! We will get to that soon! Click here to download!

So many kiddos have WH question goals… in some form or another. The ability to answer WH questions is important, in all settings: school, home, in conversation, etc… I knew this, but I always wondered how to teach WH questions without feeling like I was testing the kiddo. I didn’t want to repeat the question […]
