It's November! It's time for pilgrims, turkeys and pumpkin pies. It's also a time to reflect on our blessings. As teachers, we have a great opportunity this month to teach our students about thankfulness. I like to start my Thanksgiving units reading aloud the book I'm Thankful Each Day!/Doy Gracias Cada Dia! by P.K. Hallinan. After reading and discussing Hallinan's book, a class book with a page contributed by each student is a favorite activity.
