Keep your students in the target language with this vocabulary matching activity. The vocabulary list is based on unit 1-1 of the Avancemos 2 textbook. Each vocabulary word matches a particular Spanish sentence. Here are a few sample sentences: -Necesitas tu-----para viajar a Costa Rica. = pasaporte -La-----me sirve un refresco en el vuelo. = auxiliar de vuelo -Necesitas buscar tu maleta en el-----. = reclamo de equipaje -Quiero nadar en la-----al lado del hotel. = piscina -Las personas que viajan son los-----. = pasajeros -Necesito-----antes de llegar al aeropuerto. = confirmar el vuelo -Los pasajeros esperan el vuelo en la-----ocho. = puerta My Spanish 2 students enjoy the challenge of matching a vocabulary list entirely in the target language. I've found that this activity generally takes about 20 to 25 minutes for students to complete. This resource can be used as a quiz, a vocabulary review, or a general worksheet. Note that this worksheet has not been developed or endorsed by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company, publisher of the Avancemos 2 textbook. This is a supplemental resource prepared by an individual teacher. No prep! Darin Carlisle
