This is a reading comprehension about Space. They read the passage and then answer the questions. A key is provided. Space is an interesting topic that many teenagers like to talk about. - ESL worksheets
Another "planets" worksheet for my son. This one is aimed to introduce/revise comparative/superlative. There are some sentences for each planet on the first page, with adjectives in different forms underlined. First the students have to complete a table with the underlined words, this way they get to recognize the pattern. Then there is a simplified explanation, followed by an exercise to practise. It worked wonders with my son, now he´s able to recognize comparative/superlative structures even if he doesn´t know the word. I hope you like it!You can find here the other worksheets from the set :https://en.islcollective.com/mypage/resources?Tags=planets&type=Printables&searchworksheet=GO&view=gridMore to come :) - ESL worksheets
This is one for Dr Who fans! They read it and do the true and false, then answer the questions. This is a re-worked version of a worksheet I uploaded previously. There is a full key provided. - ESL worksheets

Quantum Atom Theory is an artist theory on the physics of ‘time’ it is a visual theory and there is only one new equation. The new equation is ( E= ˠ M˳C² )∞ it is an approximation of Einstein’s famous equation E=MC² . The brackets represent a boundary condition of an individual reference frame. The infinity ∞ represents an infinite number of reference frames of times and space. Energy equals mass linked to the Lorentz contraction ˠ of space and time. Light C will radiate out in a sphere 4π of EMR from its radius. We have C² square of probability at each photon electron coupling because you square the radius r² of a sphere 4π to get the surface area 4πr². Therefore we have 4π in the equation for Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π . Representing the same uncertainty we have with any future event. We will see and feel this process as the flow of time itself in three dimensional (π spherical) space! This is because the quantum wave particle function Ψ explained by Schrödinger’s wave equation, that forms Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, represents the forward passage of time itself photon by photon. This gives us an objective understanding of quantum mechanics as a physical process that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual in three dimensional space. At every photon electron coupling there will be matter antimatter annihilation in just two dimensions. The two dimensions of the surface area of the spherical quantum wave particle function Ψ. This dynamic two dimensional process represents the two dimensions of an unchangeable past and an uncertain future forming ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π the Arrow of Time within an individual reference frame. ~
From Newton’s mechanical calculations to Einstein’s general and special relativity to the baffling indeterminacy of quantum mechanics, the discipline of physics has become increasingly arcane and complex, and less and less governed by orderly laws.

We don't notice but words of wisdom in mathematics are present. Infact every scientific fact is related with some real wisdom.
The objective of this worksheet is to get students to prepare for a job interview and act it out later on. In a previous lesson the students had to read an application letter and study its layout and its meaning. Then they had to work in pairs and re-write the contents of each bubble in the good order; this task took 25 minutes. The teacher helped them to check their answers. Finally they could imagine their own dialogue. It is most suited for fifteen-year-old students. The correction is given. - ESL worksheets
