What İs Biology? - The Complexity of Life - Science is the regular science that spotlights on the investigation of life and living creatures, including their structure, work, advancement, cooperations, development, dispersion, and scientific classification. The extent of the field is broad and is separated into a few specific controls, for example, life structures, physiology, ethology, hereditary qualities, and some more.
Teaching science in the special education classroom can be one of the most interesting but challenging topics for our students. Hop over to find some ways to present it and document progress for alternative assessment.

"Digital educational games, interactives, virtual labs are excellent resources to assist learning and raising interests for inquiry or investigation. To visualize concepts or to do experiments on computers are cost-effective and efficient. Some games even use role-playing techniques or story lines. Some games create a virtual journey which is impossible to have in real world."
When I was a spotty schoolboy my favourite book was the Science Data Book . This amazing little book, which fit in my jacket pocket (we wore suits to school), went everywhere with me. Everywhere at school, I mean, I'm not that much of a nerd. It contains some really handy stuff: the Greek alphabe

These covalent bonding ‘puzzle’ card manipulatives provide a hands-on method of creating covalent bonds and help students to visualize the single, double, and triple covalent bonds that occur between the various non-metals. My students seemed to find it much easier to draw the Lewis Dot Diagrams and ball-and-stick diagrams for different molecules when they had the options for electron arrangement in front of them. I use this activity the day after teaching Lewis Dot Diagrams and doing my Cornell Doodle Notes on Covalent Bonding, which provides the opportunity to do some drawing of covalent bonds. To facilitate this activity, print one copy of the manipulative squares per pair of students. I laminated these sheets and cut apart the cards. Print an activity sheet (double-sided) for each student. Quickly point out the examples at the top, stressing that the bond lines need to match up in order for a bond to work! The students should follow the example for the oxygen-oxygen bond to complete the remaining problems. I suggest giving the students a chance to struggle a bit with the first one or two problems and then review the answers to those. Then, they will start to catch on and you can let them discover the answers to the rest with minimal prompting! They don’t need to know how to name the molecules, but I like to introduce them to the idea that the prefix ‘di-’ means two and the prefix ‘tetra-’ means four, etc. As and extension activity for early finishers, have them jump online and look up the names for the CH4 molecule (methane), the NH3 molecule (ammonia), and the others!
