Here are 12 opinion pieces on the best fairy tales (4 on Cinderella, 4 on Little Red Riding Hood, and 4 on Jack and the Beanstalk). Each set has 4 levels of writing (1, 2, 3 and 4). These models show children in an explicit manner what constitutes an effective opinion piece. Also included is a blank sheet of writing paper so your students can practice independently. These writing samples make outstanding anchor charts in the classroom! Please note: They are intended to look like “kid” writing.
