Original vintage seltzer bottles from pre-1940s Argentina, the dates are stamped on the metal neck of each bottle. Our soda siphons are brought back to their original beauty by a family in Buenos Aires dedicated to finding and restoring antique seltzer bottles from all over Argentina. This bottle receives its violet purple color from being hand dipped in their workshop.
Syphons, commonly known as "seltzers", are glass bottles with the function of dispensing soda water. These items were widely used in the most fashionable Italian bars in the 1950s to make popular cocktails of all kind. This specific seltzer in transparent glass is particularly rare due to it's Bitter Campari l'Aperitivo logo showing the graphic element of a walking waiter. Collector's note: Campari is an Italian alcoholic liqueur, considered an apéritif obtained from the infusion of herbs and fruit in alcohol and water. Campari is an essential ingredient in some of the most famous classic cocktail such as Negroni, the Americano.

Vintage from the 1930s A pristine blue glass French vintage soda syphon. The amazingly blue glass syphon is in excellent condition; no chips and no cracks, but there is a dark mark on the inside of the bottle. This mark does not detract from the beauty of the bottle. There are a few tiny air bubbles in the glass, indicating the bottle was hand blown. The bottle is not engraved. It has a crest at the front that could be engraved to your liking. The glass straw on the inside is perfectly intact. There is no rust on the metal mechanism. The metal capsule is engraved on both sides: ESCOLLE-DAVESNE Montigny-sur-Sambre and Gueret Paris Liege Etain sans plomb I've added photos to showcase the state of the syphon and mechanism. Please review them as part of the description. This syphon is a gorgeous decorative piece and would be an amazing addition to any kitchen or bar. ----DIMENSIONS---- Approximately: Height - 30 cm (11 1/2") Diameter - 10 cm (3 1/2") Capacity - over 1 liter Weight - 2 kg ----SHIPPING---- ▲Δ▲ PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH A CONTACT NUMBER THAT WE CAN GIVE THE COURIER ▲Δ▲ Your purchase will be shipped from the UK via courier. Confession: We get a little bubbly when it comes to these Vintage Seltzer Bottles. But first, a teensy historical tidbit. Soda-water makers appeared in Argentina in the early 1900’s, picking up the bottles from homes & restaurants daily, then filling them up (milkman, make way for seltzerman!) These beauts are originals from pre-1940’s Argentina (yep, they’re the real McCoys—the neck of each bottle is stamped with the date). And although these bottles have retired from dispensing the fizzies, they look great perched on a bar cart or shelf. Talk about a conversation starter. One bottle included per order. Vintage bottles are decorative and should not be used for food storage.
During the mid 1800s, pottery flasks were made in the form of the root vegetables that the liquor was distilled from. Home distillers used potatoes, carrots, corn, and turnips to brew strong liquors for personal use and for illegal sales. The hand made pottery flasks were filled, corked and distributed. They have become extremely hard to find as they were often discarded when emptied of their contents. This turnip flask has bright glazing – a green neck flows into a cream, pink, and orange ombre body. The flask lies sideways on three raised feet, and has the original cork stopper. Realistically molded and increasingly rare. 8.75 in. L x 3 in. W x 2.5 in. H In very good antique condition, showing the expected light surface wear and some aging to the cork.
It’s such a stylish item with a beautiful look and shape, it would look great on display in a pub, home bar, man cave or in a collection of breweriana! The retro style soda syphon (or soda siphon), once a symbol of kitsch and bad taste, is now the height of retro cool. The top unscrews and everything seems intact that should be there Please note that it will be sold as is, for display purposes. Approximate Dimensions Height 12.5" / 32 cm Condition The chrome parts are tarnished
Rare vintage soda bottle - syphon bottle with metal almond of the company "HEIMSYPHON BERLIN" from about the 30s - 50s. The bottle is made of mouth-blown heavy glass, covered with a sturdy silver wire mesh. It is marked at the top of the siphon and can be opened! The metal casing has rust spots on one side, the red lettering at the top has lost colour and there is discolouration at the top of the siphon. I have not tested whether the bottle is still usable as I do not have a suitable CO2 cartridge. Height 35 cm ( 13.7 inches), diameter bottom 10 cm ( 3.9 inches), weight 2.4 kilogrammes I pack safely in double boxes. Beautiful for shabby, vintage and industrial style interiors. Also great for a bar or restaurant. Collecting purchased items You have the possibility (by arrangement) to collect purchased items before they are shipped to save shipping costs. I only charge 1x shipping, which is based on the total quantity and its weight. Please contact me before your purchase!!! My items are original aged objects. They are not new or retro goods.
