♥ PDF Pattern only - Not final product!♥ Wanna see more pics of my work? Please follow me @annaluciadu (Instagram) Beautiful and essential basic socks for your knitting collections! Actually knitted socks is one of the most precious presents you can give to your friends and relatives. Compared to large garments, socks are quite easy and fast to knit. It is much easier than you normally think~ In this pattern I write insructions in Magic loop. But you can choose any of your favorite method (DPN/ Circulars / Magic Loop) •✿--------------------------------------------✿✿------------------------------------------✿• Yarn: Drops Fable 【fingering weight 】 75% wool/ 25% polyamide / 50g/205m Needle size : HiyaHiya 2.5mm and 2.75mm 80cm fixed circular needles They are smooth and quite flexible when knitting in the round for sock circumstances. Finished size: average adult medium 36/37 and 38/39 36/37 and 38/39 are European shoe size. 36/37 is for approx. foot circumference 22cm/ 8.8 inches. 38/39 is for approx. 24cm/ 9.6inches. Please see the chart included in the pattern for size conversion. Gauge: 32 sts and 44 rows with 2.75 mm in stockinette stitches. Tips for choosing the size: my shoe size is 37 and my actual foot circumference is 20cm/ 8inches. If I choose to cast on 56 sts, my finished sock foot circumference will be 17.5cm / 7inches which has 3cm/1⅕ inches negative ease. In this case, my finished sock is snug fit. If I go for 64 sts when casting on, I will get a finished sock with foot circumference as 20cm/ 8inches which is almost as wide as my actual foot. It is not a sug fit anymore. But this is also a matter of preference! Of course, if your foot circumference is wider than 20cm/8inches , casting on 64 sts will bring you a sock with a little bit negative ease. Hope this info can help you with choosing sizes. •✿--------------------------------------------✿✿------------------------------------------✿• You can also find me @annaluciadu on Instagram and tag me to show your finished project, I would love to see too! Wish you all have a lovely day !
