Manners Detectives! These detectives are trying to catch people using their good manners! Help them out by deciding if these people are using good or bad manners! Then decide what they could have done to use better manners! I use these cards in an open – ended game format. Each card has a situation on it. The student then determines if the person was using good manners or poor manners. If they were using poor manners, I ask the student to give me a better solution. If the student answers incorrectly, their card goes back in the pile. There are also “special” cards (lose a turn, take an extra, etc). The student with the most cards at the end of the set time, wins. I also included a set of open-ended question cards. These cards describe a situation and ask the student to tell what they would do or say in that particular situation. The package includes 72 of each type of card.
