I think I got a bit lucky on this one... but then, this is one of the reasons I planned on spending some time on Wilson Mesa. The horses in the foreground below the aspen trees below Wilson Peak made for a chance I just couldn't refuse. But the biggest surprise to me was the fact that the horses didn't move out of place. They stayed perfectly in position - just like I was hoping they would. :-) In thinking about it, I was also impressed that I didn't have so much as a fence between me and the horses - meaning they were free to run wherever they wanted. It sure was a great opportunity to include them! These images were captured on Wilson Mesa just outside of Telluride, Colorado. ______________________________ Like to see more?
