Welp, the stager is coming today, and I am so dreading it. I have no idea what she has in mind (neither does she because she hasn't been here) but I am not a messy housekeeper, so my house doesn't have that much clutter, other than my closet of course and the hubs office. I am sure those will be her main focus areas, as well as the unfinished basement. So the greeting on my card I am thankful that His mercies are new every morning and I hope hers are too. Now for the deets on my card, To get my straight line, I masked off an area with post it tape to sponge my grass and sky using distress inks, I removed the tape (mask) and then stamped my silhouette image for the set Landscape Silhouettes and the greeting from Be Encouraged. I rounded the corners to soften it up. I am entering this one in a couple challenges CAS(E) This Sketch and AAA Cards SNSS sets used

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps August Release Mini Hops showcasing the new stamps and die set! Today we're highlighting the fabulous Bookmarks and Bookmarks and More Dies I was so excited to see that Korin had designed these sets, probably because I'm a book fanatic! I love libraries and book stores, I've got stacks of books beside my bed, and my bookshelves are overflowing! For the first bookmark, I covered thick cardstock with dp for the base and then added some paper pieced red airplanes and then added a cloudy sky using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Clouds and Raindrops dies. I had no black twine so I used black copic ink to dye a bit for the bow. For a bookmark that will get a little bit of everyday wear and tear, I use a match to heat "seal" the ends of the ribbon so it doesn't fray. Carefully, I might add! Some ribbon seals well, but a few types are prone to catch fire! For the second bookmark I sponged the base with Stampin Up Pool Party and added clouds using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Couds and Raindrops Dies and a sun using the Beach Dies set. I also added some grass using the SNSS Fence and Grass Die set. The seam binding was dyed to match with copic ink. I coloured the little toadstools with copics. Almost all of the elements on my bookmarks are flat, not popped up, so that they don't damage the binding or pages of the books. My third project is a fun card to go along with a gift of a stack of children's books. The images were coloured with copics and some are popped up. I added some dots with a black fine line pen. My samples only touch on what can be done with these sets, the possibilities are truly endless, I've got loads more ideas, all I need now is some time to try them out! Stamp set includes 11 images and 5 sentiments Set measures approximately 8" x 6". The owl image measures approximately 1 3/4" x 1 5/8". Designed by Korin Sutherland. Priced at $26. Bookmarks dies measure approximately 2" x 8". Designed by Korin Sutherland. Priced at $32.75 Check out some of the fabulous samples made by our talented DT in the thumbnails below. Be sure to leave a comment on each of the blogs along the way because Korin is giving away the bundle of both the dies and the stamp set (WOW!) to one lucky winner! The deadline to comment for a chance to win is midnight EST Friday, August 16th. the list of winners will be announced on the SNSS website homepage by Monday, August 19th. Thanks so much for joining us, enjoy the rest of the hop!

Hi friends! Hope you're having an awesome week so far! Today I'm popping in with a couple of simple Easter cards I created with the beautiful new Rustic Easter set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. This set is filled with farmhouse florals, rustic crosses, and elegant sentiments. For my first card, I colored up this gorgeous floral bouquet in spring colors, thenb hand trimmed. Next I stamped and colored the wood sign, embossing the Alleluia! sentiment in white, then fussy cutting. I used designer paper for the background and a little horizontal panel (flipping the design to give a little interest. The yellow seemed a little bare, so I added the cross background from Texture Tiles 5 to the yellow portion in yellow ink for a subtle look. For my next card I wanted a bit more manly look and I found this awesome patterned paper in the same paper pad that was just the look I was going for. I stamped, colored and cut the cross image, then darkened up the edges with some walnut stain distress oxide. I finished with the Happy Easter sentiment on the horizontal strip, matted with a bit of gray cardstock. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day! Hi Friends! I had a chance to relax and stamp a card this past weekend and decided to create a Clean and Layered (CAL) card with Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps Leaf Silhouettes Clear Stamp Set (also available as a stamp/die bundle). I pulled out some of my long neglected colored embossing powders for this fun Mixed Media card and incorporated the Freshly Made Sketches #263 Sketch Challenge as well as the TGIF! Challenges#82 Inspiration Challenge and the Splitcoaststampers’ Clean and Simple CAS403 “x3”Challenge. Also, in addition to checking out the above challenge sites, if you have not stopped by the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps blog or FB page yet, I hope you will take the time to do so- fabulous inspiration from the SNSS Creative Team as well as daily and weekly specials in celebration of SNSS 9th Birthday! To create this card: Heat emboss the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Leaf Silhouettes Clear Stamp Set images with espresso, orange, red and curry embossing powders and once cooled, carefully cut out the leaves and set aside. FYI- there is a SNSS Leaf Silhouettes Stamp/Die Bundle available if you prefer to die cut :-) Using a stencil brush with a chevron stencil, apply a light coating of tangerine ink to a piece of white cardstock, trim the panel and heat emboss the sentiment from the (SNSS) Leaf Silhouettes Clear Stamp Set with espresso embossing powder. Add the hemp twine in the center and mount the panel onto the espresso card front with dimensional foam, trim if necessary and mount onto the white card base. Adhere the leaves per the sketch and add the hemp twin bow along with a few sequins to finish off this card. Thanks again for stopping by to visit-hugs and I hope you have a great week! There's another fabulous release in the SNSS shop that we've been stamping with and we're so excited to share our projects with you! Hop along and leave a little comment love for the designers linked later in this post and you might just be a lucky winner! One lucky comment from all the comments along the hop will win a $10 gift voucher to the SNSS shop. Winner will be announced on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, October 23. If you've arrived from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog, you're already on stop 2, welcome to a second card from me! If a link misbehaves along the way head on back there for the full hop list. Alright, let's get hopping! For my first card today, I chose to create with the gorgeous new Grateful Heart set. Grateful Heart is this month's Stamp of the Month, so you can earn it for free with a $75 order in the month of October. Woohoo! I just love this gorgeous pumpkin patch image and wanted to color them up in aqua like some of the pumpkins I've been seeing in the stores this season. Once they were colored, I chose an elegant frame I had foiled and cut with the Gemini FoilPress. This foil stamp & cut die came with the machine and it is so beautiful. I popped it up on foam tape over the pumpkins, then set that aside to work on the rest of the card. I was on a roll with the golden theme, so I continued on for my next card. I've been wanting the Typewriter Text Background for a good long while now and finally purchased it. I stamped it in rusty hinge distress oxide down a panel of watercolor cardstock. Next I embossed leaves from Autumn Splendor in gold all over the background. I then colored in the leaves with rusty hinge and a blender pen. I just love the look! To finish off the card, I embossed the sentiment in gold and matted with a shiny gold circle I layered over a foam circle for a bit of dimension. Well, that's it for my cards today. We are have a fab Fall Sale in the shop, so be sure to check it out. Okay, now it's time to see what the other designers have created for you today. I've linked up the entire release as well as my supply list below. The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Cathy McCauley! Sweet 'n Sassy Blog Julee Tilman ✋That's Me! Hi Friends! Merry Christmas Eve!! I decided to take a quick break from Christmas cards (I will be posting more Christmas cards later today and tomorrow :-)) and pulled out Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Wildflowers Clear Stamp Set and Grunge Elements with Grunge Elements 2 (all available at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps) to create a CAS Mixed Media card. I decided to incorporate the December 2016 CAS Watercolour “Watercolour Resist” Challenge as well as the Hand Stamped Sentiments HSS253 Color Challenge into the design. To create this card: 1). Ink the SNSS Wildflowers floral image with Versamark™ ink and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock, apply white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool. 2). Once the embossing has cooled, watercolor with elegant eggplant, bermuda bay and pear pizzazz ink using a waterbrush. 3). Use a paper towel to wipe off the ink from the embossing areas, stamp the hearts from SNSS Grunge Elements 2 and splatter from SNSS Grunge Elements with a mixture of the elegant eggplant and bermuda bay inks. 4). Ink the sentiment with elegant eggplant ink and stamp in the upper corner. 5). Die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and adhere to the bermuda bay card base with dimensional foam. I had fun designing this quick card and hope I have inspired you to create something this week! Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is having a Christmas weekend sale- come check it out!! Hi friends! Happy Leap Day! I know it's just another day, but somehow it always feels like a special gift of a free day. A couple weeks ago Amy White did a live on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Facebook page demonstrating using Inktense blocks with stamps using the Dragonfly Dreams. Well, I just had to give it a go... after I searched my whole craft room trying to find them and finally discovering them hidden in a watercolor pencil tin. Go figure! I spritzed my stamps lightly with water, then colored on the wings with two separate colored Inktense blocks. I liked the streaky look that resulted, so I didn't blend out the colors very much. Next I did the same thing with some brown and black blocks for the body. Once it was how I liked it, I hand trimmed the piece and set it aside to work on the background. I started with a lovely piece of patterned paper from the Moon Child line from Prima. I stamped and embossed the Anne Lamott quote from the Grace So Amazing set directly on the paper, then decided I wanted to add some more interest to the page. I grabbed a few Catherine Pooler inks and the Texture Tiles 1 set and stampepd random partial texture all over the panel. I then did some splattering with the same colors of inks and a bit of ink blending around the edges to pull it all together. I finished by popping the dragonfly up on foam tape and adding the entire thing to a white card base. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Hello and welcome to Day 4 of the blog hops celebrating the March Releases at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! Today we're showcasing the fabulous set Pick Me Up along with the coordinating Pick Me Up Dies I love this set, with all the little elements, the possibilities are truly endless! I found the dies and stamps incredibly easy to "get right" if you know what I mean - they coordinate beautifully! For my first card I lightly sponged all edges with Ranger Distress Antique Linen ink. I created a little tag for the sentiment with SNSS Heart Dies and a mini hole punch. The dp is Pebbles Seen and Noted. For my second card I created a bg using a stencil with SU's Pretty in Pink and then spattered with watercolors. The polka dot heart was made using SNSS Hearts Dies. I used Versafine Sepia and Color Box. Now take a look at the full set and details below: Set measures 4" x 4". Coffee mug image measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5". Illustrated by Korin Sutherland. Coordinates with Pick Me Up Dies. Sells for $11. Set contains 6 dies. Coffee mug measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5". Designed by Korin Sutherland. Coordinates with Pick Me Up stamps. Sells for $7.50. Hello Friends! I wanted to share a card that I created using the fun Kitty Love stamp set from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps for the Splitcoaststampers CC565 Color Challenge along with the Ways toUse It WT573 “Pet Sitters” Challenge. This is also one of the designs for the February 2016 Cards for A Cause Card Drive for the Tri-County Humane Society in Monticello, MN :-) I hope you will find time to visit the above galleries, and if you are interested, please come join in on the Cards for A Cause card drive- March’s Cards for A Cause Card Drive information is here (FYI- last year Splitcoaststampers sent over 6300+ cards to worthy causes for the monthly card drives- what an honor to be part of that this year). To create this card: Ink the stretching cat image from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Kitty Love set using Stampin’ Up! Black Archival Ink and stamp onto Whisper White cardstock (I used my MISTI® Tool for alignment and repeated stamping to get the images nice and dark and I also sped up the ink drying time by heat setting the image with the Heat Tool). Align the first part of the sentiment above the cat image and stamp using Stampin’ Up! Black Archival Ink (this is where the MISTI® really comes in handy for me). Use a pencil to add the shadows for the kitty, cut out the cat panel and mount onto Basic Black cardstock. On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the rest of the sentiment along with a few paw prints using Stampin’ Up! Black Archival Ink, trim the sentiment, create the banner points with the Hexagon Punch, mount onto Basic Black cardstock ( again using the Hexagon Punch to create the banner points) and add a Real Red heart (from the Owl Builder Punch). Add a piece of black and white designer paper to a piece of Basic Black cardstock, mount onto the Whisper White card base, add the Real Red vertical panel and mount the kitty image panel directly to the card front. Add the sentiment using dimensional foam to finish off the card. Quick and simple- and I agree, the love of a cat is wonderful!! Stamp Sets: Kitty Love (SNSS) Ink: Black Archival (Stampin’ Up!), Pencil Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, retired Real Red DSP (Stampin’ Up!), Black and White designer paper from my stash Accessories: Big Shot™, MFT Stitched Rectangle Dies, Stampin’ Up! Punches- Hexagon, Owl Builder Thanks again for taking the time to visit- hugs and have a blessed week, my friends!
Hi Friends! I had a chance to create a few cards this past weekend and am finally getting an opportunity to post them. This card was designed with three different Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps- Long Stem Silhouettes, Nature Silhouettes and Nature Silhouettes 2 (all designed by Korin Sutherland). I decided to keep this card Clean and Simple (CAS) for the September CAS Watercolour "Silhouette" Challenge and the Watercolor Cooler #134 “Anything Goes”Challenge. If you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or the SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage you to do so- gorgeous inspiration from all! To create this card: 1). For the background- tap a Distress Oxide Twisted Citron ink pad onto the mat, lightly spritz with water, press a piece of white cardstock into the ink, lift up, press again and dry with a heat tool. Continue to build up the layers using Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. 2). Once the panel has thoroughly dried, ink the silhouette images from NatureSilhouettes and Nature Silhouettes 2 with Versafine™ Onyx Black Ink, stamp onto the panel (lining up at the bottom) and heat set with the heat tool. Trim the panel and mount onto black cardstock. 3). Ink the bird image from Nature Silhouettes 2 with Versafine™ Onyx Black Ink, heat emboss with clear embossing powder and once the embossing has cooled, fussy-cut the image. 4). Ink the sentiment from Long Stem Silhouettes using Versafine™ Onyx Black Ink, stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and mount onto a piece of black cardstock. 5). Add the landscape panel to the card front, adhere the entire card front onto a white card base and mount the bird with dimensional foam to finish off the card. Stamp Sets: Nature Silhouettes, Nature Silhouettes 2, Long Stem Silhouettes (Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps) Ink/Mediums: Versafine™ Onyx Black, Tim Holtz® Distress Oxide Ink- Twisted Citron, Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers Paper/Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black Accessories/Tools: Embossing Buddy®, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool Thanks again for taking the time to stop by- hugs and I hope all of you have a blessed week!

Hello and welcome to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps November 2014 Release Hop! November marks the 7th birthday of SNSS, and it also means we crafters go into full fledged Christmas card creating mode. Hopefully you'll find inspiration on every level with the DT creations this month! First I have a bright birthday card with candle shapes from bright polka dot paper - I then used a leaf die from Small Leaves Dies for the candle flame, sponging the edges with yellow and orange ink. The Birthday Word Die is fabulous for combining with the Companion Words stamp set, take a look at both below. Next I've used the beautiful Bare Tree Die (I just love this, what an incredibly useful die!) along with the deer from Forest Silhouette Dies. The background has been sponged with Stampin Up inks and then spritzed with water and pressed with a paper towel so that some of the ink lifted, hopefully giving the impression of falling snow. (Please note this technique works with inks such as SU and Ranger Distress.) I added some tiny punched flakes with the tiniest of pearls. The sentiment is from Christmas Light. Check out the Bare Tree Die below, which includes tiny leaves and a tiny flower. Next I've used a beautiful blessing from the Scripture and Sentiment Companion set along with the same Bare Tree Die. It works wonderfully to stamp the Scripture on the inside! I cut the tree four times and adhered them together for a chipboard appearance. The background has been water colored and I added some pearls and sequins to finish. Take a look at all the verses with beautiful coordinating sentiments: Last I have a card using the sweet Baked for You set - the cherry pie is colored with copics. Everything has been sponged with Ranger Distress Frayed Burlap ink for a distressed look. I made this card thinking of my Aunt Sandy in Kennewick, Washington, who makes the BEST pie crusts ever and who also uses cherries from their sour cherry tree in the most amazingly mouth watering ways! Check out the fabulous dies which coordinate with the this set - Baked for You Dies. A fabulous apron die is included! You can be inspired by the other DT creations which are linked below and remember that one random commenter from one of the DT blogs will be selected to win a $10 gift code to be used at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I'm playing along with this week's CAS(E) this sketch #3 ... and this week's CASology #16 challenge. And here's the card I made to meet both challenges. I used a SNSS wildflowers image and sentiment & added a punched border with a scrap of pink card stock. I placed a flower gemstone to the center of the flower. The stamp was colored with markers before stamping, and the circle was cut with a SB circle die. Quick & simple, and I guess this is about as "wild" as I get these days :) Thanks for stopping by! Carol

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the blog hops celebrating the March Releases at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! Today we're showcasing the fabulous Borders and Backgrounds along with the coordinating Borders and Backgrounds Dies For the first card I stamped one of the lacey borders in creamy white on vellum before cutting with the dies and layering them up. The butterfly, from Majestic Monarchs (cut using the coordinating Monarch Dies), is embossed on dp. I'm very into this shade of watermelon pink at the moment! The dp is from Cosmo Cricket. This is also for the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today, and HERE is the lovely card from stampin_mynn's gallery which inspired me! For the second card I went for a very CAS look, sponging from the bottom to create shading using Stampin Up Lavender Lace and then stamping the double circle border in the same. I cut an additional border in black cardstock to give an exra layer of definition and then added some black pearls. The sentiment is from the newly released God's Will. Now take a look at the full sets and all the details below: Stamp set includes 5 images. It measures 6" x 4". Images measure approximately 5.5". Designed by Korin Sutherland. Set sells for $15.00. The challenge for OWH Stars and Stamps mid-week throwdown is to create Valentine cards. I always try to make cards with a love theme that can be used for Valentine's day or just to send love, so this is my version of a Valentine card. I used a SB heart die and an ef from the Sizzix Hello Friend set. The sentiment is by SNSS and I added some red gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty. Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great day! Carol

It's Day 4 of the Mini Blog Hops celebrating the July releases at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps - today we're showcasing a set which I'm very excited about and all you butterfly lovers out there will be too! Majestic Monarchs I love sponging these butterflies and find them fairly easy to cut out, I simply add a little bit of shading on the antennae with my black copic and go around the edges with the black copic too - it gives clear definition and makes them stand out a bit more. Sponging is a great alternative for uncomplicated images if you're not that fond of colouring! I used various Stampin Up inks including Lucky Limade, Melon Mambo, Orchid Opulence, Taken with Teal, and Cool Caribbean. The butterflies were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. There's not much else to explain as this is a very clean and simple card, the butterflies arranged in a trail along with some black gems. This set is one I'll be reaching for again and again - in case you missed it, check out the second card on THIS post for another creation using this great set. Here are the details: Stamp set includes 6 images and 3 sentiments. It measures approximately 6" x 4". The largest butterfly measures approximately 2 1/2 " x 1 3/4". It's designed by Korin Sutherland. It's priced $15. Check out some of the fabulous samples made by our DT in the thumbnails below. Be sure to leave a comment on each of the blogs along your journey because Korin's giving away this set to one lucky winner! Mrs A has a new challenge over at the Butterfly Spot #12. This week it's "Summertime Butterflies." I used an I.O. Hollyhock die (thanks M A) with snippets of pink and white cardstock, adding 2 shades of green cardstock for the tall grass with a SNSS die. The butterfly was a snippet of pink with some Pizzazz Aplenty bling and the sentiment was done with a SNSS stamp. I have a fun summertime birthday card to add to my stash, but I should probably use it quickly as summertime is on the downswing already! I'm also sharing this over at Di's Snippet Playground #137. Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day! Carol
I have a few cards to share that I made for several challenges, so this will be a long post. First up is the {PIN}spirational challenge 14...
Hi Friends! I am sharing another vintage style mixed media card using the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps, Sweet As Honey Clear Stamp Set (designed by Korin Sutherland). I mentioned in my previous post how much I love collecting honey dishes and this bee image is just so irresistible to me (I know, crazy, right?)! I wanted to participate in a few online challenges so I am linking to the Inkspirational #138 Rural Challenge ( I remember visiting my Grandparents farm and all of the bees :-)), the Simon Says Monday “Distress It” Challenge as the Happy Little Stampers July Mixed Media “Texture” Challenge (I added texture with the distressing, heat embossing, popped up bees and the crystal drops :-)). Again, if you have not had a chance to visit the above challenge sites or SNSS Blog/FB Page yet, I encourage you to do so- fabulous inspiration from all! To create this card: 1). On a scrap piece of white cardstock, take the antique linen distress oxide ink pad and swipe across the paper, use a sponge to blend out the ink and heat with the heat tool. Use another sponge to add fossilized amber distress oxide ink, heat with the heat tool and repeat the process with a bit of wild honey and vintage photo distress oxide ink (heating with the heat tool as well). Spritz a bit of water onto the paper, tap the excess water off with a paper towel and heat with the heat tool to dry the paper. 2). Ink the honeycomb image from Sweet As Honey with fossilized amber distress oxide ink, stamp onto the panel, add clear embossing powder and heat set with the heat tool. Once the embossing powder has cooled, use a sponge dauber to add additional vintage photo along with fossilized amber distress oxide ink over the embossed images, wipe off the excess ink with a dry paper towel and spritz with additional water. 3). Use a distressing tool to distress the edges, mount onto espresso cardstock and distress the edges as well. 4). Tap the wild honey, fossilized amber and vintage distress oxide inks onto a craft mat, spritz with water and lay a piece of designer paper into the ink. Lift up and continue to add layers of ink, drying with a heat tool between layers. 5). Once you are satisfied with the results on the background, distress the edges with a distressing tool, mount onto espresso cardstock and mount onto the white card base. Sponge vintage photo distress oxide ink over the edges of the card base to tone down the white panel. 6). Add the honeycomb panel directly to the card front. 7). Stamp the sentiment with onyx black archival ink onto white cardstock, heat set to dry the ink with a heat tool, trim and distress the edges before mounting onto espresso cardstock and distressing the edges to match with the distressing tool. Mount the sentiment to the card front using dimensional foam. 8). Ink the bee images from Sweet As Honey with onyx black archival ink, stamp onto a piece of white cardstock, and heat set with a heat tool (to speed up the drying process). Color the bees with a honey marker, fussy cut and watercolor the wings with a bit of black soot distress oxide ink before using a clear glitter pen to add shimmer to the wings. 9). Hi Friends! I hope all of you are having a wonderful week so far! I had a chance to stamp in my stamping studio this evening (well, now it is morning-lol!) and wanted to share a card that I created with the brand new Scripture Tree Clear Stamp set from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (designed by Korin Sutherland). I just love how this Scripture has been designed into the shape of a Christmas tree and I think it will be perfect for quick, easy Christmas cards. I decided to use the CTS#188 Sketch at CAS(E ) This Sketch for the layout- I hope you will have a chance to visit their site and check out all of the wonderful inspiration that one sketch can provide! To create this card: De-static a piece of vanilla cardstock with an Embossing Buddy®, stamp the SNSS Scripture Tree image with clear embossing ink, apply gold embossing powder and heat with a heat tool. Trim the panel, mount onto cherry cardstock, trim again and add the cherry satin ribbon loops. Trim a piece of designer paper to approx. 4” x 5 ¼”, mount onto a piece of cherry cardstock, trim close to the edge and mount onto the vanilla card base. Add the Scripture Tree focal image panel to the card front with dimensional foam and finish off the card by adding a few sequins along with a pearl to the center of the star. Quick and easy for sure! I cannot wait to create a few more of these cards for Christmas this year :-) Thanks again for taking the time to stop by- hugs and have a blessed week, sweet friends! SNSS Scripture Tree

I think while I have this paper out I'll have to make a second card. Make sure you stop by and check out what the other Sugar Babies have created. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!! Hi Friends! Woohoo! It's all about Alpha's at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps! SNSS is starting off the month of December with a special offer on their Alphabet Stamp Sets- Buy 2 and Get One Free (Dec 2 - Dec 15)!! Alphabet stamps are perfect for Scrapbooking, Card Making, Home Décor as well as Bible Art Journaling! Believe it or not, I am still creating Christmas cards, so I decided to use the brand new SNSS Creative Worship Alpha Script Clear Stamp (designed by Rebecca Rios) to create the "JOY" sentiment and paired it with the previously released SNSS Music To My Ears and SNSS Celebrate the Savior Clear Stamp Sets. I love the font that Rebecca used for the Alpha Script design and since they are clear stamps, it is so easy to line them up to stamp! I also incorporated the Mojo Monday #476 Sketch Challenge for the layout and am also linking to The Christmas Card Challenges #50 “Anything Goes” Challenge. I hope that in addition to checking out the challenge sites, you will take a moment to stop by the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps blog or FB page- fabulous inspiration from my "sisters" on the SNSS Creative Team! To create this card: 1), Create the smaller background panel using designer paper mounted onto espresso cardstock (I used some of my retired Christmas paper stash :-)). 2). Ink the SNSS Celebrate the Savior angel, poinsettias and holly images with black soot distress ink, stamp onto white cardstock and water color with ink from markers as well as direct coloring with the markers . Apply shimmer with a clear glitter pen to the angel’s wings, gown and white highlights with a white extra fine paint pen to the poinsettia centers. Fussy cut the poinsettia, holly and die cut the angel with a stitched square die. Lightly apply vintage photo distress ink over the entire angel panel, ink the SNSS Music To My Ears background image with black soot distress ink and randomly stamp parts of the background around the angel and apply vintage photo distress ink over the entire panel. 3). Ink the SNSS Alpha Script letters with cherry distress ink and stamp onto white cardstock, die cut with a stitched circle die and mat onto a split piece of espresso cardstock (also die cut with a circle die). Stamp the SNSS Music To My Ears image around the “JOY” and lightly apply vintage photo distress ink over the image. 4). Trim a piece of designer paper to 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” (again, I used retired paper from my stash), mount onto the 5 ½” square espresso card base, add the strip of cherry cardstock and adhere the stamped SNSS Music To My Ears panel (per the sketch). 5). Add the stamped angel panel with dimensional foam and sentiment. 6). Add the cherry bow along with the poinsettias and pearls to finish off the card. Thanks again for stopping by to visit-hugs and I hope you have a great weekend, my sweet friends! SNSS Script Alpha Music To My Ears- Sweet ′n Sassy Stamps SNSS Celebrate the Savior
Here's a quick card I made using some kraft & cream cardstock. I embossed the background with a Sizzix ef from the Hello Friend set, and added some pretty blue & cream colored gingham ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is by SNSS (Sweet'n Sassy Stamps) and it's done on a labels eighteen SB die while the bow was done with a Bow-Easy. It was simple to make, and this is one of my favorite go-to designs for elegant cards. Have a wonderful Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping by! Carol
