We saw this colorful beauty at the San Diego Zoo. It is a native to some countries in Africa. Other pictures that I've taken over the years at our world famous zoo can be seen in my San Diego Zoo album. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157621078764843/

This Steller's Jay was quite a character. He entertained us during and after our lunch at Lembert Dome in Tuolumne Meadows. He bounced around from tree to table to ground and back up into the trees again. I love this pose showing off his "fluffy" blue feathers.
This baby bonobo is the closest living animals to humans, even more so than the common chimpanzees. They are rarely seen in zoos because of how human like they are, they are famous for their love of sex. They will solve fights by having sex, and they don't mind going female on female or male on male. The young watch and will try to join in, and the females rule the group. Males stick around when they grow up instead of leaving and trying to start their own community, the female bonobos are the ones that leave and try to start their own group. It is rather fascinating. One of the babies at the Cincinnati Zoo. Bonobos are so close to human and i highly recommend you go see these guys at the Cincinnati Zoo. This little guy is teething, as you can see, and picked a decent branch to chew on. Photo Notes: ISO 3200 275mm f/5.6 1/100 sec

We've all heard stories about mythical creatures. Sitting in a room at night with all your mates, where one of your buddies starts telling a story about how this one person gave a lift to a woman, who was undetectable in the rearview mirror. And then everyone tries to laugh it off but deep down,
