I have made a couple cards with the fun new Simon Says Stamp July 2024 Card Kit, Sunny Smiles! The cards are both the same, except for color, but I wanted to give you the couple ideas I had to do with three of the image stamps and a sentiment stamp, from this cool and very fun stamp set in this card kit! For this first one, I opted to make a rainbow of the top tier of the sunshine. I taped off the piece(s) next to each piece of the tier I was stamping. I then used a couple different shades of yellow for the bottom two tiers. I stamped the sentiment in black and then added some glitter dots for some bling! Here's a close up... The second one...total sun!... I used two different shades of yellow for the top tier, alternating the light and dark. I used a third shade of yellow for the middle tier and two shades of orange for the half circle...stamping one orange over the other. I stamped the sentiment( I LOVE the font of this sentiment!), and added some glossy accents dots. I used my markers to color the dots, before adhering to the card, to match the sun. Here's a close up... I hope you will check out this July kit...it's one that truly brings on the sunshine, smiles... and happy!! Hi everyone! Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit and it is a beauty! Here it is: Isn't it lovely?! For the card I'm sharing today I decided to pair the gorgeous Alcohol Pearl Inks with the beautiful new flowers from the Delicate Flowers Stamp Set. I added the Alcohol Inks and Blending Solution to a piece of the white Yupo Paper and moved the ink around with my Tim Holtz Distress Marker Spritzer Tool. After letting it get good and dry I went over it with my Powder Tool before white heat embossing numberous floral images from the Delicate Flowers Stamp Set. The key to heat embossing with the Yupo Paper is to keep the heat gun moving and not let the paper get too hot or it will warp (ask me how I know). I then die cut this panel with one of Simon's Stitched Rectangle Dies. I also diecut a piece of the Tim Holtz Silver Alcohol Ink Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle that is the next size up. I adhered the silver piece to a notecard covered with Simon's Cotton Candy Cardstock, added foam tape to the back of my stamped panel, and adhered it in place. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on a a piece of the ModaScrap Let Your Soul Bloom Pattered Paper with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and adhered the sentiment strip to my card. Hello there, today I have a card and tag to share using the Appreciate You Stamp Set from the new Simon Says Stamp Celebrate release, which is out today. They kindly sent me the set to use that is aimed towards teachers. PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure. I kept the projects simple, keeping lots of white space. I started off by stamping the apple from the Simon Says Stamp Appreciate You Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, twice. I then coloured them using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area). I stamped two of the sentiments from the set (stamping the teacher one twice) onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I fussy cut the apples and sentiments out using scissors, but there are dies available for the set. For the card, I took a US A2 sized white card base and rounded the corners using the Spellbinders 1-2 Corner Rounder and Notch Punch. I then simply adhered the apple and sentiments on top using thin foam tape. To finish, I added white gel pen highlights to the apple. For the tag, I die cut a middle size tag from the Hero Arts Nesting Tag Dies from white cardstock. I then cut it down so that it was shorter. I cut the hole reinforcer from black cardstock and adhered that on top using liquid glue. I adhered the apple on top using thin foam tape, as well as the 'teacher' sentiment. I then stamped the 'thank you' sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Stamp Set onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and then adhered to the tag with more thin foam tape. To finish, I added twine through the top of the tag and added white gel pen highlights to the apple.
