Morning Blog buddies and thanks for stopping by today. We are back round to Saturday again and another theme challenge at Less is More Face the Music & Dance For this card I've used a digi-stamp from Delicious Doodles - Charleston, teamed with a Frame-it die from My favourite things to make a shaker card. The 'Happy' word die and Anniversary sentiment are both Clearly Besotted. The sequins in my shaker are from Doodlebug with hearts from my stash. To finish off a strip of DP from Echo Park and some gems for sparkle! I'd like to enter this over at CAS on Sunday where the theme is 'Sequins Celebration' Does ''You Rock' count?!?!? Hope so as the die-cut sentiment was a lucky freebie ages ago from Dies to Die for and I've been hanging on to it waiting for the ideal opportunity to use it ... and here it is. It's adhered to the card on 3d adhesive to add some dimension. The guitar has been in my stash for about 10 years! I can't remember where it's from it's so old. AND for that bit of dazzle ... I've added some nail heads from Josy Rose. And last but not least .... Here's two little girl cuties using Lili of the Valley images with the addition of twine and DP from my stash, sentiments from Paper Smooches and Clearly Besotted plus Wink of Stella and Glamour Dust. Ok as is the norm I'm handing over to you talented crafters to join in the challenge and have some musical fun. You've all done a fantastic job on the 'Beverages' challenge last week and I know you'll do brilliantly with this one too. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Happy crafting!
Blend, freeze, slice, and scarf. That’s how easy this cake is! Once you have your cashews soaked (essential for a righteously creamy consistency), this decadent dessert takes less than 15 minutes to put together. It looks and tastes just like dairy-drenched cheesecake, but my family and friends tell me they crave this more than the conventional kind. Add the lemon and poppy seeds for an awesome twist and a drizzle of strawberry sauce to up the indulgence.

Hi friends, I had a little crafty 'time out' this evening and made a card for the latest challenge at Time Out I love the photo inspiration but although I had a few landmark stamps in my stash I couldn't seem to find any newspaper print! So I've gone with inspiration from the wooden floor in the photo using a wood grain stamp from Winnie and Walter. My landmarks are from Clearly Besotted: Happy Travels set and I've placed them in a frame; die-cut using MFT Die-Namics pierced rectangles and mounted on 3d foam for added interest and dimension. I'm not entirely sure whether it counts as completely clean and simple but I'd also like to add it to the latest CASology challenge 'Spin' - my London Eye wheel would certainly spin although somewhat slowly! Ok off to catch up on some TV now but thanks for stopping by and catch up with you again soon.
With Spring coming soon, it's time to think about which flowers and shrubs to plant in our garden now so that we can later enjoy their colorful bloom. When it comes to this, we have plenty of choices, and it can be really hard to pick just a few. This…
Whoopie! Release Day is here at last. Thanks for stopping by again. Today the August release is available to purchase here and I've a few extra cards I made (below) using these terrific sets First up and I don't know if this isn't a bit OTT but I tried to use something from each set on one card. Hmmm can you guess what comes from what set? Plus there's a sneaky image from an earlier set of Uniko stamps! I'm going to post this at the Simon Says Stamp challenge for this week where the theme is 'Make it Sparkle' As I've used some sparkling silver embossing powder and sparkly gems from my stash I'm hoping it'll fit perfectly. Next up I needed another birthday card for a young boy so thought this was the perfect excuse to ink up the Big and Bold Wish set again. I've stamped the images onto vellum with Versamark Ink then heat embossed with silver. The candles are coloured on the reverse with Promarkers and to finish a couple of gems and Doodlebug sequins. Last but not least I couldn't resist another Sweet Baby one. My sister is having her second baby in December so I'm hanging onto this one for her. This one was quite tricky but I'm thrilled with the result. I've used stamps from both the Strike A Pose and Sweet Baby sets to create my Duck's bath-time card! It's a shaker card, which I don't make often (why don't the sequins sit where you want them to whilst photographing, no matter how much 'shaking' I did) The frame is backed with glitter card and I've punched some little hearts to add to the sequins. To finish a strip of DP from Echo Park, Doodlebug Sprinkles, hemp cord and 2 little mini tags with embossed sentiments from the set. As usual there is a Design Team & Guest Designer Blog Hop so please make sure you dash along to all the DT & GDT members, in the order below, and make sure you leave a comment along the way to be in with a chance of winning the entire release. Beverley Amber Erika Gillian N@ Ali Nicki Ren-Yi (Summer Break) Taheerah Sandie Sarah (that's me) Finally Beverley is offering free shipping on orders of £25 or more if ordered TODAY.
