Artist Daniel Arsham puts pieces back together in these broken glass sculptures. He combines bits of glass with resin to form the great detail and shape
Husband and wife team Paul DeSomma and Marsha Blaker translate their oceanic inspirations directly into their collaborative glass sculptures, frozen glass waves caught mid-crash and appearing to spray surf from the contained vessels. The works exist as seamless gradients, dark blues circling the base while white froth circles the top of the pieces crafted from molten glass. Although the couple works collaboratively on the vases, they also adhere to individual practices. Blaker focused on the textures and colors found within detailed marine environments while DeSomma’s work emphasizes the clarity and form of colorless and transparent glass. More
These cotton paintings are so pretty and have tons of sparkle. These are created on wood approximate sizes with a thick textured paint and then accented in gold leaf, glass and resin for even more sparkle. The 4x4 has the 2 cotton bolls and the larger sizes have more. You can choose between the neutral cotton or the colorful cotton with a little splash of color. This listing is for (1) per order. OTE: Difference between wood and Canvas - The wood is actually boards of lumber that I cut into squares or rectangles so the measurements are a little bit smaller than the canvas. The canvas is the exact size that you order. - The back of the wood is painted to give it a finished look and has a hook. The back of canvas also has a hook. -The depth of the wood and canvas are the same at 1.5” - The front and the sides of the wood and canvas are all textured and painted so the overall look of the front and sides are the same.
