Honor the Blue By Backing Them By DIA September 11, 2001, changed the face of the planet greater than any single event since World War 2. If you can remember that day, you'll remember the image of those smoking towers in New York City before they crumbled to rubble. Many brave law enforcement officers, many from the NYPD, were first on the scene to help and assist victims. As it became apparent that the towers would not stand, these brave men and women rushed into danger instead of away from it. They sacrificed themselves to save others and fulfill the commitments they made to serve and protect. We owe these heroes a debt of gratitude. New York City is a special place and iconic place renowned around the world. But we are slowly forgetting the tragic event that took courageous Americans from us. Instead, we bicker and fight amongst ourselves. At DIA, we want to change that. We want to celebrate greatness. We want to remember heroes. We deeply understand the significance of our law enforcement officers and their vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our communities. With this commemorative t-shirt, we aim to honor and remember the selflessness of these heroes who put their lives on the line to protect us all. It's time to show our unwavering support and appreciation for their dedication. By wearing the NYPD Back the Blue T-Shirt, you are not only showing your support for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, but you are also making a powerful statement about the importance of appreciating and honoring our law enforcement officers. This t-shirt serves as a conversation starter, allowing you to share the stories of these heroes and educate others about their remarkable dedication. Join us in our mission to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our law enforcement officers. When you purchase this commemorative t-shirt, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations that support the families of fallen NYPD officers. Together, let us stand united in showing that our heroes will never be forgotten. --- This shirt is made especially for you as soon as you place the order. We don't mass produce DIA gear, which is why it takes us a bit longer to get it to you. Making DIA gear on demand helps reduce overproduction & waste, so thank you for making a thoughtful purchasing decision.

Eight years after the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001, we remember and here, take a look back, and a look at the present. This year's remembrance is emphasizing volunteerism and service, honoring the private citizens that volunteered after the attacks and encouraging the observance of the anniversary to be a day of service. Construction at Ground Zero, the site of the former twin towers, is years behind because of construction delays, design disputes and litigation involving developers, state and local officials and insurance companies. At this point, One World Trade Center (formerly Freedom Tower), the 120-story anchor building on the site, is scheduled for a 2013 completion.
We're keeping track of everything she's wearing. Starting now.
