Paper Hoarder Disorder has done it again!!! This is her pattern for her wonderful Gate Fold book that is available at her Etsy shop. It was a really fun project to work on. I chose to use Graphic 45s new Bontanical Tea papers for this album. I am so loving working with this paper. I had got the new G45 collections in the mail a couple of days before I got the pattern so it just seemed it was meant to be! lol Anyway, this is the top of the box with a close up of one of the flower sprays. I titled it "Cherish" as I feel these papers just make you want to cherish whatever you add to it! I, of course, stickled everything. The flowers come from my stash. The little pink and white sprigs are from the cake decorating section from Michael's The pearl swirls are from Want2Scrap and were purchased when I went to Expo last month. I had purchased several different locks and latches from eBay last month and decided I might as well add one here so this is the one that worked best for this box. Upon opening the box, you will see that papes are attached to each fold down side. I decided to do this one mirror image. I want to create another one where one side is baby girl and the other baby boy. It has six full pages on each side (so 12 individual on each side) so would work great for baby's first year. For the first pages I used some of the punch out flowers from the G45 collection. I did add tiny roses to the centers and, of course stickles. The leaves are a MS punch. There are two pockets on this page that each holds a little tag booklet. The bird charms are from Michael's. Since this album was made mirror image, I will just show one set of pages and you can imagine the opposite effect for the other side. lol I tried to make this album very interactive so lots of pull out tags and pockets and such. On this set I used some of the banners from the punch outs to create little fans and stuffed them in the pocket. The pocket lifts up to reveal another pocket with a little three page tag pull out. I used little flat backed pearls to add dimension to this page. The rose on the pocket was fussy cut and then topped with glossy accents. The second page pocket has two tags from the collection and an envelope made from one of my old sizzix dies. It contains a little pull out tag. The next set of pages are very simple.....nothing too fancy at all. The first page contains a tri fold opening held shut with magnets. The metal corners and metal finishings are from eBay. The butterfly is from a MS punch with a layer or stickles and then a layer of glossy accents. The leaves are from another MS punch. A little stickles and this set is done. The next set of pages are scraplifts from different creations off Pinterest. I saw the fold out album as a mini album itself on Pinterest and thought it would just be kind of different added to a page. As you can see it opens as a tri fold with the top housing a silly little tag. The second page is really simple with a door effect. The flowers on this page are silk ones from Micheal's. I pulled them off their stems and added a little stickles along with a flat backed pearl for a center. The metal decoration on the first page is from eBay but I added a center that came from Micheal's. It was actually a thumb tack item as well as the "Family" piece on the door. I removed the pin parts and they worked really good, I think. The next set of pages were a little bit of experimenting. I bought some embossible window plastic from JoAnn's and just had to play a bit. I embossed it and then scored it to fold and make the clear pocket. You cannot see the embossing very well so was a bit dissappointed in the finished look. I used a very narrow edge off a EK Success punch across the top and added tiny pearls. Said pocket holds a fold out mini album which contains a little pocket of it's own holding two little stamp stickers from the collection. . On the second page is a pocket containing two more tags from the G45 collection. The tiny banner is also made from punch outs from the collection. The last pair of page sets is again more pockets and foldouts! The first page consists of two pockets holding little fold out tags. I used a MS punch for the heart borders and added pearls. The tag tabs and the stamps are stickers for the G45 collection. The pull out on the second page is a mini fold out that I also got from Pinterest. I used a Nestie die to cut the flap front. The pearl border was another purchase from Expo. And, once again finished it off with a little stickles. I created the pocket out of paper from the collection. The final page is still another pocket page with a tri-fold mini pull out. I used a border die on the pocket from Magnolia. The leaf die is from a new die I bought at Expo from Heartfelt Creations. They have some wonderful dies! I left the bottom and the inside of the lid plain as I thought they could showcase a 5x7 photo if you desired. Each page is a pocket page and contains fold outs. I use a glass accent that I had glued to paper and fussy cut around for the pulls. I really like how they turned out. Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting my blog.

So già come usarla? L'avevo tenuta a posta? Buona organizzazione a tutti!

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK with me Jay Soriano. It's Thursday and I am back with the OSAT Design Team for our blog hop with the theme of Don't Go Breakin' My Heart using Stampin' Up! products For my projects I am sharing today, I created a card and a matching jewellery box using the Heart Happiness stamp set from the 2018 Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue The card front was designed for our recent class and is fairly simple but very effective! You may have seen a sneak peek of it from our Instagram or Facebook page. I worked on the inside of the card a little more, adding a sentiment from All Things Thanks stamp set I then used a couple more stamps from the Heart Happiness set; the heart outline, leaves and small flower with leaves. As it's a photopolymer set, it was easy to build up a bigger design with the smaller images. These were also coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Combo Pack and Cherry Cobbler Light Stampin' Blends like the image at the card front For my co-ordinating project, I used the flower with leaves stamp and the same colourways to create a small jewellery box which measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/8" x 2 1/2" so it can fit a bracelet, necklace or even a ring would look great inside with a bit more padding. I first saw this box on Pinterest without any measurements or tutorials so I decided to work out how to make one Real Red Cardstock 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" score at 3 7/8" & 6 3/8", mark at 6 7/8" then turn 90˚ mark at 7/8", score at 1 3/8" & 3 7/8" then turn 90˚ mark at 2 3/4" & 3 3/8", score at 5 1/4" (down to the 2nd horizontal score line only) Turn 90˚, score at 2 1/2" (down to the 2nd horizontal score line only) mark at 3 3/7" & 5" Whisper White Cardstock 7 3/8" x 7 3/8" score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 7/8" & 6 1/8" turn 90˚ and score at the same measurements as above Real Red Insert from off cut 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" score at 1/2" & 2 3/4" turn 90˚ and score at the same measurements as above Check out our video tutorial on how to make your own Jewellery Box with double diagonal opening lid using Stampin' Up! products #createwithmitosu #stampinup Thanks again for stopping by.

Amy Tan's new Signature Series book is a smashing success! Every page is eye candy and filled with inspiration from corner to corner. I had the opportunity to include a layout and a "PaigeBook" in Amy's book. I used only supplies from Amy's Ready Set Go line, naturally! HOME IS WHEREVER YOU 3 ARE Journaling says: No matter where we are in the world, whether near or far, as long as I am surrounded by my family, that is where I call "home." It's true - "home is where the heart is" and there's nowhere else I'd rather be! I love you all! How to: Start with a cream floral background. Trim squares from patterned papers, trim them into triangles, then cascade them down the top of the layout; stitch a line through each row using a matching color of thread. Tear a house page from a Daybook, back the heart and door with patterned paper and a "love" die cut, and hand stitch around the heart die cut with yellow floss. Place the house on the bottom of the page and add a photo on either side. Create a title above the photos, embellish with stickers, an accordion paper flower, journaling spot, and more. Supplies: Cardstock, patterned paper, stickers (ampersand, arrows, hearts, houses, letters, number), accordion paper flower, die cuts (arrow, flower, sentiment), date stamp, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Floss: DMC; Ink: StazOn; Square punch: Fiskars; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark ********************************************************************** REMEMBER & SHARE THE LOVE PAIGEBOOK DAYBOOK This is a 5x7" handmade book with a copic style binding so it lays nice and flat when opened. Every signature is made with Ready Set Go patterned papers and colorful matching cardstock. I incorporated charms, knick-knacks, doodads, and Ready Set Go matte puffy stickers turned into charms into the binding. The front is embellished with a bunch of Ready Set Go stickers and embellishments. I stuck these on with major super glue to ensure they'll stay put forever and a day. I have a tendency to make books and not fill them up with anything, but perhaps I can use this book for a form of "project life" or make my own version of a "smash" book. Check out these projects and DOZENS more in Amy's book! Since I want to be Amy when I grow up, maybe one of these years I can have a Signature Series book :) A girl can dream right?!

Hello & Welcome. Before I start with instructions I would first like to acknowledge a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator by the name of Amanda Bates from The Craft Spa in the U.K. I follow this talented lady's work and saw this idea on her blog. Just a few things to note about my box I designed it to fit cards I make which are half an A4. (Australian paper size which makes two cards @ 10.5cm 14.85cm) If you intend on filling it with cards, stationary, envelopes etc, you may want to reinforce the entire bottom box and I would advise not lifting a full basket by the handles - card stock can only hold so much. I would recommend the crate style handle secured to the bottom with a strong adhesive over the handles and struts. You will need a piece of 11" x 15" Cardstock for the base. And if making the crate handle a piece that measures 5.75" x 15.5". These are an odd shape which I obtained by cutting down a large poster size piece of CS. (To reinforce glue two pieces together and then cut to size.) To make this tutorial I made another Cantilever Sewing Box this time with the crate handle - pictured below STEP 1. Base Box Take a sheet of card stock 11" x 15" on the 11" side score at 2.5" and 8.5" on the 15" side score at 2.5" and 12.5" Cut wedges in tabs and make box STEP 2. Small Boxes (make two) Cardstock 10" x 9" (times two) on 10" side score at 2" and 8" on 9" side score at 2" and 7" Cut wedges in tabs and make box. REPEAT - so you have two identical boxes STEP 3. Lids for Base Box Cardstock 7.5" x 7.5" (times two) On one side score at 2.5" and 3.5" Turn 90 degrees and score at 0.75" and 6.75" Cut away excess as shown in picture below. Cut wedges and round edges of flaps as shown REPEAT - so you have two lids for the bottom box. Attach lids to bottom box with tombow (the lids really only fit one way) STEP 4. Lids for Top Boxes Cardstock 7.5" x7.5" (times two) On one side score at 2" and 7" Rotate Cardstock 90 degrees and score at 0.75" and 6.75". Cut away area as shown below in picture, cut wedges and round corners on flaps. Glue two flaps to make half box with long flap on one side. REPEAT - so you have two lids one for each top box To adhere put lid on box and then glue large flap to side of box. STEP 5. Crate Handle (Skip this STEP if using decorative handles in STEP 7) Cardstock 15.5" x 5.75" On the 15.5" side score at 1" and 6.75" and 14.5" Fold in half and glue excluding below the bottom score line/flaps. Cut oval for handle. When you are ready to attach, glue bottom flaps to bottom of base box. Attach bottom box lids to side of base box. STEP 6. Struts (you will need brads for this step) Cardstock 8 pieces that measure 0.75" x 5.25" Glue two pieces together so you have four struts. Use corner rounder and round all four edges. Make a hole 0.75" from each end. This is what you should have so far. To place struts I suggest using a ruler and pencil to measure before making holes. Take base box with long side facing you make a hole 1.5" up from bottom and 1" in from edge. With smaller boxes short side facing you make a hole 1.25" up from bottom and 0.75" in from side. Use brads to connect struts. Punch or die cut a shape to cover brad. I made the handle with 2 pieces of 1" x 16.2" scored at 5.1" and 11.2" Before inserting brads I suggest you decorate the outside, as attaching anything once struts are installed will be difficult. I stamped the interiors and used DSP for the exterior. I also added a few heat embossed vellum flowers and a few pearls.
DT-Helena
