Have you ever sent an Accordian Letter? Sometimes they are called "Folio" letters too. Either is fine. This was my first attempt, and I had quite a good time with the project. I went with the nostalgic, retro look. This is two pieces of Kraft card stock that are scored and then joined together with washi tape . I filled my pages up with envelopes/pockets, I have seen this project also called the "pocket mailer". The possibilites are endless... Do you need to share any secrets? Journal cards, banners, confetti...status cards, tea...hmmm...again...the possibilites are endless! But certainly, don't forget the letter! I folded my letter and put it in the blue pocket bag. This was such fun, I know I will be making more of these to share, How about you? Email me pictures of your "Accordian Mail" and I will share it on the blog. Happy Snail Mailing! It is unknown how old it is because not everything has been excavated. It did house the royal residence, the complex of the Vestal Virgins, and governments. It was the economic hub of the republic and empire. There is a temple to Julius Caesar, whom the senate deified posthumously. It was built in 70-80 AD. It has quite a sordid history. Mock naval skirmishes were conducted here as well as oratory performances, animals shows, gladiator battles and Christians being fed to the lions. Today the Pope leads a torchlit procession call the "Way of the Cross" to the amphitheatre. Here you will see typical streets as well as Piazza Novana and the Fountain of the Four Rivers and Fontana de Nettuno (Neptune). Gian Lorenzo Bernini was the architect and sculpture of the Four Rivers Fountain. The fountain also has an Egyptian obelisk in the center. Il Vittoriano, the wedding cake building, is also shown. Hello dear visitors! I'm excited to share another mini album I created using gorgeous Graphic 45 papers "Craft Reflections". It's not a new collection and I have had it for a long time in my stash. I thought it was perfect for a vintage style mini album like the one I'm showing you today. The album's dimensions are 5 1/4" X 6 5/8", the spine is 3". It has 8 pocket pages and I used envelopes (standard size 6.5" X 4.5") for creating the base for them. I also used quite a few of Tim Holtz & Sizzix dies, I think they are perfect for the vintage style projects. You can find the guidelines for creating the album, including the measurements and the list of the dies in the YouTube video which I've posted on my channel here. Drop me a comment if you have a question. I have a short video tutorial on making these tag pockets using the Stampin' Up Tag Topper Punch. You can find a walk-through for this mini album on my You Tube channel here: Thanks for watching a have a great weekend! Hugs, Alexandra

happy MONDAY everybody! it is my turn over at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog and i'm sharing my last summer layout {for this month, of course :-)} feat. KAISERCRAFT’s COASTAL ESCAPE collection, BURLAP and KAISERMIST spray inks {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store} - "HARD to BEAT" for my background i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock and KAISERCARD ballet weave cardstock. i cut off about 0.5cm from each side of the COCONUT cardstock, distressed its edges and adhered it to the BALLET cardstock using KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape. i wanted to sprinkle a bit of KAISERMIST spray ink – AQUA on top of the background, but i accidentally spilled at one of the corners. so, i decided to use this misfortune and create more colourful and vibrant background paper. i spilled more ink at the opposite corner on purpose and sprinkled KAISERMIST spray ink – ANTIQUE GOLD on top. then i stamped the compass from the SAIL AWAY clear stamp set with embossing ink and heat embossed the set using gold embossing powder. then i cut my pictures to 10x10cm squares and layered them on a slightly bigger burlap squares {BURLAP roll – 15cm}. i used MOUNTING foam tape to adhere them to the background. to complete the pattern papers there is an amazing die cut paper available with the COASTAL ESCAPE collection – the WOVEN die-cut paper. i took about half of it and sprayed it with a water mister. TIP! use a mini mister, for example from TIM HOLTZ, to wet the paper just a bit, so you can shape it with your fingers. adding too much water may damage the paper. i fussy cut small shells from the SEA SHELLS gloss paper. then i adhered them to the already dried net, together with PEARLS – SNOW, to create an under the sea effect. before adhering the shells i embossed them slightly with EMBOSSING tool. to embellish my layout i used stickers from the 12″ STICKER sheet matching the COASTAL ESCAPE collection. i outlined the separate stickers with WHITE gelly roll pen. i also used die cuts and fussy cut elements from from the COLLECTABLES pack and the mini PAPER PAD. as a finishing touch i added RHINESTONES – AQUA and mini paper blooms – COCONUT. for my title I used the cut off strip from one of the pattern papers. i hope i managed to inspire you today! have a lovely CREATIVE week! hugs 'n smiles,
