Capturing the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, this expressive piece brings to life the majestic presence of The Cobbler in the Arrochar Alps. Bold, impasto brushstrokes and a vibrant palette convey the raw, untamed essence of the landscape, with sharp contrasts and dynamic forms. The central focus of the composition is the commanding peak itself, depicted with rich, dark hues that suggest its formidable presence. Surrounding the mountain, swathes of orange, yellow, and red streak across the foothills, reflecting an autumnal splendour or perhaps the dramatic play of sunset light over the heather and bracken. Below, the interpretation of a small settlement nestles in the valley, its buildings rendered in gestural patches of colour that mirror the angularity of the surrounding terrain. The juxtaposition of the natural and the man-made elements within this scene suggests a harmony; the village appears as an organic extension of the land. Skies, rendered in pale blues with wisps of white, suggest a brisk, clear atmosphere, with geometric shapes adding a sense of movement, as if the clouds were briskly sweeping across the canvas. Each print of this spirited depiction invites the viewer to experience a sense of the sublime that is both deeply personal and evocative of the wider Scottish mountain ethos, making it a captivating addition to any collection.

Imagine the crisp air of the Scottish Highlands and the scenic beauty of Glencoe captured through a vibrant prism of colour and abstract form. This striking print invites you on a visual journey to a serene lochan cradled in the natural amphitheatre of timeless mountains. The foreground bursts with life, showcasing a field of Mountain avens, their ivory petals intermingling with bursts of fiery orange flora. Each flower, with its geometric facets and bold outlines, exudes the avant-garde spirit of Cubism, providing a fresh perspective on nature's delicate wonders. As the gaze drifts towards the middle ground, a mosaic of pebbles and rocks adorns the lochan's edge, whilst the water itself glistens with reflections captured in a kaleidoscope of blues and whites. The print portrays a dazzling interplay of light and texture, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in the intricacies of its patterned surface. Beyond the water, the landscape unfolds in angular swatches of earthy greens, ochres, and shades of slate blue. The grandeur of the Glencoe mountains is reimagined through a tapestry of colour blocks, their majesty rendered with an almost musical rhythm that dances across the canvas. Inspired by the transformative power of Cubism, this print does more than merely depict a scene; it deconstructs and reassembles the essence of Glencoe into an abstract wonder. It is a conversational masterpiece that brings a touch of modernism to any space it adorns, inviting endless contemplation and admiration. Add this scintillating depiction of Highland charm to your collection and let it transport you to a world where nature and art converge in a symphony of geometric delight.

Lovely afternoon light washes over the valley, illuminating Tryfan and the beautiful surrounding North Wales landscape. I feel that the flowing water really helps draw you into the image and provides a great foreground interest, as well as adding a visual flow for the composition. As the day wanes and shadows play across the rugged landscape of Glencoe, this evocative print captures the essence of a scene shrouded in mystery and the beauty of nature. Brushstrokes imbued with passion create an abstract vista where the boundary between day and night is poetically blurred. Fiery hues of crimson and scarlet meld with the tranquility of dusky blues and purples, portraying the sky in a dramatic display of light that cascades over the shadowed mountains. At the heart of this piece, the valley unfolds, basking in the last embers of daylight. Reflective pools mimic the sky's tapestry, with splashes of golden yellow and ivory suggesting a sun-kissed radiance spilling over the water, lending an almost ethereal quality. Carefree dappling of white and soft blues evoke the whisper of a gentle breeze skimming the surface, bringing motion to an otherwise serene milieu. The abstraction of the landscape allows for a personal journey, encouraging the viewer to find their own meaning within the sweeps of colour and texture. This piece isn't just a visual feast; it's a whisper to the soul of those who yearn for the wild, untamed corners of the world where stories and legends are born.
