WONDERFUL MIX OF SCIENCE AND ART When I was a student, I used to love studying physics and chemistry. I craved for learning more about our wonderful universe. Time passed, I became a graphic designer, not a scientist as I should’ve imagined, but I’m still interested in science today as I was years ago. It is said that science is the concerted human effort to understand the history and functioning of the natural world. And it's really amazing how we use art for this exact purpose, too. Who said you can't mix the two? This particularly large collection includes a vast array of elements, symbols, and schemes connected with physics, chemistry and sacred geometry. Get yourself this neat scientific diagrams collection for only $15 now! WHAT YOU GET 4 .EPS files with all the diagrams. Each file is an artboard containing various diagrams in different color combinations 38 white diagrams in .EPS + .JPG + .PNG files with transparent background 38 blue diagrams in .EPS + .JPG + .PNG files with transparent background 4 colorful seamless patterns in .EPS + .JPG files [great for website backgrounds, wallpapers, wrappings or just any kind of backgrounds with nice scientific diagrams] All vector images in the collection are Adobe Illustrator 10 EPS. Astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope recently released the deepest image of the sky ever obtained which reveals the faintest and most distant galaxies ever seen. The Hubble eXtreme Deep Field (XDF) is like a time machine, allowing us to see at how some galaxies looked just 450 million years after the Universe’s birth in … Continue reading "Watch Live Webcast: What Does Hubble’s Deepest Image of the Universe Reveal?"
Many believe that science and religion can’t coexist, but when you truly examine all aspects of science, there is irrefutable evidence of God’s existence everywhere. From the very universe above our head to the miracle of life, His fingerprint is prominent in every single thing…and there is even proof in the very genetic code of our bodies. Atlanta pastor Louie Giglio was among the first to uncover this miracle that you truly have to see to believe.
A new conception of quantum mechanics rests on the idea that parallel universes exist, and that they interact with our own to create weird and wonderful quantum phenomena.
A photographer painstakingly pieces together raw data collected by spacecraft to produce color-perfect images of the Sun, planets and their many moons

Oxygen in all its different forms kills cancer cells. What is Oxygen therapy? Here in this series we will discuss the numerous heath benefits and proven factual information.
This project was inspired by some wonderful cut and torn landscapes at Angela Anderson Art Blog and New City Arts. Since I'm in the middle of my Animal Art Fun class I decided to utilize the colorful textured watercolor backgrounds against the graphic look of a black and white zebra. My class created the backgrounds first using a variety of liquid watercolors. They had the opportunity to use sponges and salt to create unique textures. The magic of salt always seems to win out - it's highly addictive! The children followed a direct line drawing lesson to create their zebras using Sharpies and/or black paint. While we looked at pictures of African Savannas for inspiration for the landscapes, most of my students preferred a clean lined graphic background as opposed to a more literal landscape created using torn paper. I love the results! Well done kids! (Ages 6-10)
40,000 metric tonnes of material fall to Earth every year. How long can this go on?
Lined up like familiar faces in your high school yearbook, here are images of the 33 largest objects in the Solar System, ordered in size by mean radius. Engineer Radu Stoicescu put this great graphic together, using the highest resolution images available for each body. Nine of these objects have not yet been visited by … Continue reading "The Solar System’s ‘Yearbook’ is About to Get Filled In"
Fun ways for kids to learn how to compare planet sizes in our solar system. Kids then can understand the size and scale of earth compared to other planets.
The concept of a planet has evolved considerably over time, thanks to ongoing discoveries and refinements in the field of astronomy.
The Universe around use is immensely beautiful. The infinite size of space has many wondrous sights when our telescopes are pointed their direction. This hub takes a look at thirty of some of the most unbelievable pictures of space that will surely...
Bone broth is easier to make than you might think, and it has healing properties and benefits that go deeper than we can imagine. We also have science to show us the benefits that our bodies can feel with each sip.
