I am always surprised how much my students like poetry and even more amazed at the poetry they create during our poetry unit. We start the poetry writing process slowly with an adjective review. The students made a list of … Continue reading →
View our huge range of beautiful design and lifestyle books here: The Strength In Our Scars is Bianca Sparacino’s reminder to you: No matter what you’re going through, no matter where you are on your healing journey—you are strong. Through poetry, prose, and compassionate encouragement you would expect from someone who knows exactly what you’re working through, Sparacino is here with the words you need. ‘The Strength In Our Scars’ tackles the gut-wrenching but relatable experiences of moving on, self-love, and ultimately learning to heal. In this book you will find peace, you will find a rock, you will find understanding, and you will find hope. A note from the author, Remember, stay soft. I wrote this book for the people in this world who feel deeply. For those who stay messy-hearted in a world that may not always be kind to them. I wrote this book for the human beings who are doing whatever they have to do to make it to tomorrow — the people who get up in the morning when they do not want to, the people who face what is scarred within them, the people who are working every single day to be gentle and soft with themselves when they have been given every reason to harden. I wrote this book for the people who believe in something hopeful; the people who feel everything intensely and allow themselves to feel that way. I wrote this book for the human beings who shout their love from rooftops, who share their hearts with the world. I wrote this book for anyone who is fighting — fighting to be better, fighting to heal even when it hurts, fighting to believe with everything they have within themselves that they have a purpose here, that they belong here, and that they deserve to take up space. I know how much courage it takes to be that kind of person, how much courage it takes to heal and to let go. This is my testament to these rare and beautiful souls, this is my way of saying — “You are not alone.” Cover features a textured felt paper printed with white gloss and gold foil.

I have had some awesome products on my wishlist for a while now! But, anywhooo, my store entire store is 10% off for 2 days only (March 18th & 19th)! That brings some of my items to under $2! Click HERE to see my products! Also, I wanted to give you a little sneak peek into this coming week. I will be having a giveaway later this week. I won’t tell you what product is in the giveaway just yet, but I am really excited about it! Check back later this week for more details. Ok, and as I continue to ramble on, I would like to show you a few pics from math today. 3-D SHAPES! So, I have been subbing for this one teacher frequently so she lets me do a lesson of my own here and there. It is great! For today, we learned about 3-D shapes in a whole new way! They LOVED it!!! (Thankfully, this lesson was allowed because none of the students had allergies! Yay! ) Check out the pictures of our lesson today! Here are two of the students working hard on using the food to count the faces, edges and vertices! They did so well! I mean, maybe the fact that they knew they could eat the food after was a huge incentive! ;-) We used cheese balls to represent spheres, Hershey’s chocolate for rectangular prisms, Starburst for cubes, marshmallows for cylinders, and Bugles for cones. We also used this cute poem that I found on Pinterest. The students were a little curious why the soda was called “soda pop”. Being in RI, we don’t refer to soda as pop, but oh well! Overall, a great subbing day! Ok, well dinner time for me! Thanks for stopping by everyone!!! Hopefully, see you back here later this week for the giveaway! ;-)
Desperation leads to frustration that is taken out on social media by men. These self-proclaimed 'nice guys' are frustrated at the fact that they can not find themselves a girl despite being super 'nice' and attractive. They blame being single on the women who reject them because apparently, they are flawless and 'nice' which makes
